Safety Instructions
• Position on a flat, stable surface.

components on this product.

• Warning! Hot surface! Always wear safety
gloves when placing or removing foods.
• This product is only designed to store food temporarily. Do not
use for laboratory or industrial purposes.
• DO NOT use jet/pressure washers to clean the appliance.
• DO NOT use the appliance outside.
• DO NOT allow oil or fat to come into contact with the plastic
components. Clean immediately if contact occurs.
• DO NOT store products on top of the appliance.
• Always carry, store and handle the appliance in a vertical
position and move by holding the base of the appliance.
• Always switch off and disconnect the power supply to the unit
before cleaning.
• Keep all packaging away from children. Dispose of the
packaging in accordance to the regulations of local authorities.
• If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by a
BUFFALO agent or a recommended qualified technician in
order to avoid a hazard.

• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience or knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the
appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play
with the appliance.
• BUFFALO recommend that this appliance should be periodically
tested (at least annually) by a Competent Person. Testing
should include, but not be limited to: Visual Inspection,
Polarity Test, Earth Continuity, Insulation Continuity and
Functional Testing.
• BUFFALO recommend that this product is connected to a
circuit protected by an appropriate RCD (Residual Current
Device).

BUFFALO prides itself on quality and service, ensuring that at the time of packaging the contents are
supplied fully functional and free of damage.
Should you find any damage as a result of transit, please contact your BUFFALO dealer immediately.
Installation
1. Remove the appliance from the packaging. Make sure that all protective plastic film and coatings are
thoroughly removed from all surfaces.
2. Maintain a distance of 20cm (7 inches) between the unit and walls or other objects for ventilation.
Note: Before using the appliance for the first time, clean the shelves and interior
with soapy water.
3. Set the brakes on the castors to keep the appliance in position.

Operation
Control panel
The control panel is located below the handle on the front of the appliance.

1. Ensure the

2. Set the on/off switch to I.
3. Press the button to turn the light On or Off as required.
Setting the Operating Temperature
1. Press the SET button. The previously set temperature is displayed.
2. Press the or button to display the required temperature (Range: 30°C - 80°C).
3. Press the SET button to store the temperature.
Note for the Heating Indicator: The LED will be on during heating up and off when the set
temperature is reached and maintained constantly.
4. The appliance is now ready for food to be displayed and kept warm.
Using the Night Curtain
• If necessary, extend the plastic night curtain downward and hook it into place.

Cleaning, Care & Maintenance
• Switch off and disconnect the appliance from the power supply. Allow to cool down
before cleaning.
• Withdraw the door for ease of cleaning.
• Clean the interior of the appliance as often as possible.
• Use warm, soapy water and a damp cloth to clean the appliance.
• Do not use abrasive cleaning agents. These can leave harmful residues.
• Always wipe dry after cleaning.
Replacing the Interior Lamp
Call your BUFFALO dealer or a qualified electrician. The Lamp Assembly is available to purchase as a
spare part.
Troubleshooting
A qualified technician must carry out repairs if required.

Electrical Wiring
This appliance is supplied with a 3 pin BS1363 plug and lead.
The plug is to be connected to a suitable mains socket.
This appliance is wired as follows:
• Live wire (coloured brown) to terminal marked L
• Neutral wire (coloured blue) to terminal marked N
• Earth wire (coloured green/yellow) to terminal marked E
This appliance must be earthed.
If in doubt consult a qualified electrician.
Electrical isolation points must be kept clear of any obstructions. In the event of any emergency
disconnection being required they must be readily accessible.

Inleiding
Neem de tijd en lees deze handleiding aandachtig door. Correct onderhoud en gebruik van deze machine
levert de best mogelijke prestaties voor uw BUFFALO-product.
Verpakkingsinhoud
Het volgende is inbegrepen:

BUFFALO is trots op haar kwaliteit en service en garandeert dat de inhoud, op het ogenblik van de
verpakking, volledig functioneel en vrij van schade is.
Als u vaststelt dat uw product tijdens het transport schade heeft opgelopen, neem dan onmiddellijk
contact op met uw BUFFALO-dealer.
Installatie
1. Haal het apparaat uit de verpakking. Zorg ervoor dat alle plastic beschermlaagjes en coatings goed
verwijderd zijn van alle oppervlakken.
2. Behoud een afstand van 20 cm tussen het apparaat en wanden of andere voorwerpen voor voldoende
ventilatie.
Opmerking: Maak de schappen en de binnenruimte schoon met een sopje
voordat u het apparaat voor het eerst gebruikt.
3. Zet de remmen op de zwenkwielen om het apparaat op zijn plek te houden.

Bedieningspaneel
Het bedieningspaneel bevindt zich onder de hendel aan de voorkant van het apparaat.

Inschakelen
1. Controleer of de aan/uit-schakelaar is ingesteld op Oen sluit het apparaat aan op de netstroom.
2. Zet de aan/uit-schakelaar op I.
3. Druk op de toets om het lampje in of uit te schakelen zoals nodig.
De bedrijfstemperatuur instellen
1. Druk op de toets SET (Instellen). De eerder ingestelde temperatuur wordt weergegeven.
2. Druk op de toets of om de vereiste temperatuur weer te geven (bereik: 30°C - 80°C).
3. Druk op de toets SET (Instellen) om de temperatuur op te slaan.
Opmerking over de verwarmingsindicator: De LED brandt tijdens het opwarmen en dooft
wanneer de ingestelde temperatuur is bereikt en constant wordt gehouden.
4. Het apparaat is nu klaar om voedsel te etaleren en warm te houden.
Het nachtgordijn gebruiken
• Trek indien nodig het plastic nachtgordijn naar beneden en haak het op zijn plaats.

Reiniging, zorg & onderhoud
• Schakel het apparaat uit en koppel deze los van de stroomvoorziening. Laten afkoelen
vóór het reinigen.
• Trek de deur in voor gemakkelijke reiniging.
• Maak het interieur van het apparaat zo vaak mogelijk schoon.
• Gebruik warm zeepwater en een vochtige doek om het apparaat te reinigen.
• Gebruik geen schurende reinigingsmiddelen. Deze kunnen schadelijke restjes achterlaten.
• Veeg altijd droog na het schoonmaken.
De binnenlamp vervangen
Bel uw BUFFALO-dealer of een bevoegde elektricien. De lampinrichting kan als een reserveonderdeel
worden aangeschaft.

Indien nodig moet een gekwalificeerde technicus reparaties uitvoeren.
