GENERAL POWER TOOLS SAFETY WAR-
NING
- WARNING Read all safety warnings and all instructions,

Failure to follow all instructions listed below may result in electric

ed (corded) power tool or battery-operated (cordless) power tool.
WORK AREA SAFETY

ELECTRICAL SAFETY
-Power tool plugs must match the outlet. Never modify the
plug in any way. Do not use any adapter plugs with earthed
(grounded) power tools. Unmodied plugs and matching outlets
will reduce risk of electric shock.
-Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces, such
as pipes, radiators, ranges and refrigerators. There is an in-
creased risk of electric shock if your body is earthed or grounded.
-Do not expose power tools to rain or wet conditions. Water
entering a power tool will increase the risk of electric shock.
-Do not abuse the cord. Never use the cord for carrying, pull-
ing or unplugging the power tool. Keep cord away from heat,
oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Damaged or entangled cords
increase the risk of electric shock.
-When operating the power tool outdoors, use an extension
cord suitable for outdoor use.Use a cord suitable for outdoor
use reduces the risk of electric shock.
-If operating a power tool in a damp location is unavoidable,
use a residual current device (RCD) protected supply. Use of
an RCD reduces the risk of electric shock.
PERSONAL SAFETY
-Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense
when operating a power tool. Do not use a power tool while
you are tired or under the inuence of drugs, alcohol or med-
ication. A moment of inattention while operating power tools may
result in serious personal injury.
-Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye protec-
tion. Protective equipment such as dust mask, non-skid safety
shoes, hard hat, or hearing protection used for appropriated condi-
tions will reduce personal injuries.
-Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch is in the
off-position before connecting the power source and/or bat-
tery pack, picking up or carrying the tool. Carrying power tools
with your nger on the switch or energizing power tools that have
the switch on invites accidents.
-Remove any adjusting key or wrench before turning the power
tool on. A wrench or a key left attached to a rotating part of the
power tool may result in personal injury.
-Do not overreach. Keep proper footing and balance at all
times. This enables better control of the power tool in unexpected
situations.
-Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. Keep
your hair and clothing away from moving parts. Loose clothes,
jewellery or long hair can be caught in moving parts.
-If devices are provided for the connection of dust extraction
and collection facilities, ensure these are connected and prop-
erly used. Use of dust collection can reduce dust-related hazards.
-Do not let familiarity gained from frequent use of tools allow
you to become complacent and ignore tool safety principles.
A careless action can cause severe injury within a fraction of a
second.
POWER TOOL USE AND CARE
-Do not force the power tool. Use the correct power tool for
your application. The correct power tool will do the job better and
safer at the rate for which it was designed.
-Do not use the power tool if the switch does not turn it on and
off. Any power tool that cannot be controlled with the switch is
dangerous and must be repaired.
-Disconnect the plug from the power source and/or battery
pack, if detachable, from the power tool before making any
adjustments, changing accessories, or storing power tools.
Such preventive safety measures reduce the risk of starting the
power tool accidentally.
-Store idle power tool out of the reach of children and do not
allow persons unfamiliar with the power tool or these instruc-
tions to operate the power tool. Power tools are dangerous in
the hands of untrained users.
-Maintain power tools and accessories. Check for misalign-
ment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts and any
other condition that may affect the power tool’s operation.
If damaged, have the power tool repaired before use. Many
accidents are caused by poorly maintained power tools.
-Keep cutting tools sharp and clean. Properly maintained cutting
tools with sharp cutting edges are less likely to bind and are easier
to control.
-Use the power tool, accessories and tool bits etc in accor-
dance with these instructions, taking into account the working
conditions and the work to be performed. Use of the power
tool for operations different from those intended could result in a
hazardous situation.
-Keep handles and grasping surfaces dry, clean and free
from oil and grease. Slippery handles and grasping surfaces do
not allow for safe handling and control of the tool in unexpected
situations.
SERVICE
-Have your power tool serviced by a qualied repair person
using only identical replacement parts. This will ensure that the
safety of the power tool is maintained.
- Any misuse or failure to follow the instructions for use renders the
guarantee and the manufacturer's liability null and void.
ADDITIONAL SAFETY WARNINGS
- Use the appliance in a well ventilated area.
- CAUTION: In order to prevent overheating do not cover the appli-
ance.
- Ensure that neither the air access nor exit become either totally or
partially covered by drapery, clothing, etc., as this increases the
risk of re.
- Do not use the appliance in association with a programmer, timer
or other device that automatically switches it on.
- Do not use the appliance if the cable or plug is damaged.
- Ensure that the voltage indicated on the rating label matches the
mains voltage before plugging in the appliance.
- Connect the appliance to a socket that can supply a minimum of 10
amperes.
- Only use the appliance with the specic electric connector provid-
ed.
- If any of the appliance casings breaks, immediately disconnect the
appliance from the mains to prevent the possibility of an electric
shock.
- Do not use the appliance if it has fallen on the oor, if there are
visible signs of damage or if it has a leak.
- CAUTION: Do not use the appliance near water.
- Do not use the appliance with damp hands or feet, or when bare-
footed.
- Do not wrap the power cord around the appliance.
- Do not clip or crease the power cord.
- Check the state of the power cord. Damaged or tangled cables
increase the risk of electric shock.
- Do not touch the plug with wet hands.
- Do not grind any material containing asbestos. Working with as-
bestos and/or silica wheel, the dust produced is harmful for health.
Prevent inhalation of these types of dust by following the appropri-
ate health and safety regulations.
- Protect yourself from contact with and the inhalation of dust
created by sanding wood and metal surfaces and surfaces coated
with lead paint. Use protective equipment that complies with the
appropriate health and safety regulations.
- Use clamps or a vise to secure the object to be worked in place.
The work will be safer if both hands are free to control the tool.
- Fully unroll the appliance's power cable before each use.
- Do not turn the appliance over while it is in use or connected to the
mains.
- Unplug the appliance from the mains when not in use and before
undertaking any cleaning task.

- Keep the appliance in a dry, dust-free place, out of direct sunlight.
- Make sure that dust, dirt or other foreign objects do not block the
fan grill on the appliance.
- Never leave the appliance unattended while in use.
- Never leave the appliance connected and unattended if is not in
use. This saves energy and prolongs the life of the appliance.
- Never rest the appliance into a surface while in use.
- The appliance can be used on surfaces such as: wood, cardboard,
plastic, plaster, etc.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
BEFORE USE:
- Make sure that all the product’s packaging has been removed.
- Ensure that the voltage indicated on the rating label matches the
mains voltage before plugging in the appliance.
- Always be sure that the tool is switched off and unplugged before
carrying out any work on the tool.
- Prepare the appliance according to the function you wish to use:
ATTACH THE SANDING PAPER NEEDED:
- Take the sanding paper according to the work you need to do.
- Attach it using the Hook&Loop system on the sander pad.
ELECTRONIC SPEED CONTROL:
- The speed of the appliance can be regulated by using the speed
regulator control (B). This function is very useful, as it makes it pos-
sible to adapt the speed of the appliance to the type of work that
needs to be done.
DUST COLLECTION SYSTEM:
- Always use the appliance with the dust collector connected, inhal-
ing dust is harmful to your health.
- Connect the dust bag (E) to the vacuum connection (D)
USE:
- Connect the appliance to the mains.
- Turn the appliance on, by using the on/off switch.
- Select the desired speed.
- Place the appliance against the surface you want to work.
- Note: Exerting high pressure does not increase machine effective-
ness!
- To avoid a erce start up of the fan, it is advisable to start off from
the lowest speed position and, once the fan has been switched on,
progressively increase the speed to the desired position.
ONCE YOU HAVE FINISHED USING THE APPLIANCE:
- Stop the appliance using the on/off switch.
- Unplug the appliance from the mains.
MAINTENANCE AND CARE
- WARNING! Always unplug the machine before carrying out work
on it.
- Inspect the mounting screws: regularly inspect all the mounting
screws and ensure they are rmly tightened. Should any screw
be loose, tighten it immediately. Failure to do so could put you at
serious risk.
- Motor maintenance: always take the greatest care over this and
make sure that the motor winding is not damaged and does not
