Freestanding Letter Box

Assembly
Installation raised off theground
1. Lay theletter box on its side
and unscrew the4 bolts
holding thebaseplate and legs
in place. Thelegs are attached
on theinside of theletter box
when sold. Remove thelegs
and thebaseplate.
2. Theletter box can either
be installed raised up off
theground on thelegs or at
ground level.
1. Attach thefour legs to thebaseplate.
2. Dig a30 cm deep hole in theground where theletter box
is to be located.
3. Fill thehole in theground with concrete.
4. Lay acouple of planks over thehole.
5. Straddle thebaseplate over theplanks so that 2/3 of
thelegs stick down into theconcrete.
6. Use aspirit level to check that thebaseplate is level.
7. Leave theconcrete to dry for 24 hours before removing
theplanks.
8. Undo the4 screws on thebaseplate and place theletter
box onto it.
9. Screw theletter box onto thebaseplate from theinside.
4. Place theconcrete slab and baseplate construction into
thehole and fill thehole with sand and soil.
5. Undo the4 screws on thebaseplate and place theletter
box onto it.
6. Screw theletter box onto thebaseplate from theinside.
7. Fit thesloping shelf at thebottom of theletter box.

This product should be disposed of in accordance with
