Safety
• Do not place theproduct where it could fall into water or other liquids. Donot
place any objects which contain liquid onto theproduct such as vases, drinks, etc.
• Never subject theproduct to high temperature, dust, heavy vibration, impacts,
humidity or moisture.
• Do not place theproduct on soft surfaces such as beds, sofas or blankets; as
theventilation openings might become obstructed.
• The product should not be placed in aconfined space such as acupboard or on
ashelf which restricts air circulation.
• The product must only be connected to astandard domestic 100–230V, 50–60 Hz
electrical supply.
• The standby switch on theremote control does not disconnect theproduct from
thepower supply.
• Disconnect thedevice from thepower supply by unplugging it from thewall
socket. Makesure that thewall socket and plug are easily accessible.
• Do not abuse themains lead. Donot carry theproduct by its mains lead.
Whenunplugging theproduct, grasp and pull theplug – not themains lead.
Makesure that themains lead does not come into contact with heat, sharp edges
or is crushed.
• This product is intended for indoor useonly.
• Never attempt to tamper with or modify theproduct in anyway.
• Do not use theproduct if it is in any way damaged or does not function correctly.
• Never use accessories which are not recommended by themanufacturer.
• The product should only be repaired by qualified service technicians using
originalparts.

Operation
Listening to music from aniPad, iPod or iPhone
1. Plug themains adaptor into thespeaker dock and awall socket. Theindicator will
shine red to indicate that thespeaker dock is in standby mode.
2. Switch thespeaker dock on by pressing either [►ll] on thespeaker dock or [ ]
ontheremote control. Theindicator will then turn purple.
Note: Turnthevolume of your Apple device down before inserting it into
thespeaker dock.
Note: Becareful when docking aniPad2 or iPad3 as they need to be tilted alittle
during docking.
3. Carefully insert your device into thespeaker dock. Theindicator will turn asteady
blue if thespeaker dock is in iPad/iPod/iPhone mode. Ifit does not, press [MODE]
until theindicator turns blue. Thespeaker dock will automatically start playing any
music saved on theApple device.
4. Control thespeaker dock using thecontrols explained in theButtons and functions
section above.

Viewing pictures or films from your iPad/iPod/iPhone on aTV or
other monitor
1. Connect anRCA composite video cable between theRCA video out on
thespeaker dock and theRCA video socket on your TV/VDU.
2. Press [MODE] on theremote control until theindicator shines asteady blue.
3. Turn on your TV and switch to thevideo channel. Readyour TV instruction manual
if you are unsure.
4. Insert your iPad/iPod/iPhone into thespeaker dock.
5. Select thefilm/video you wish to view on yourTV.
6. Press [V-OUT] on theremote control to choose to whether to view thefilm/video
on either your TV or on your iPad/iPod/iPhone.
7. Control thespeaker dock functions using thecontrols explained in
theButtons and functions section above.
Playing music from aUSB memory
1. Press [MODE] until theindicator shines purple which means that it is in USBmode.
2. Connect aUSB memory to theUSB port. Thespeaker dock will automatically start
playing any music saved on theUSB memory.
3. Control thespeaker dock using thecontrols explained in theButtons and functions
section above.
Using theAUX-IN
1. Press [MODE] until theindicator flashes blue which means that it is in AUX-INmode.
2. Connect a3.5 mm audio cable between theexternal audio device and thespeaker
dock’s AUX-IN.
3. Control thespeaker dock functions using thecontrols explained in theButtons and
functions section above.
Care and maintenance
• Clean theproduct using alightly moistened cloth. Onlyuse mild cleaning agents,
never solvents or corrosive chemicals.
• If thespeaker dock is not to be used for along time, it should be unplugged and
stored in adry and dust-free location.

Troubleshooting guide
The speaker will not
switch on.
• Check that themains adaptor is connected properly
to both thespeaker dock and wall socket.
• Is thewall socket live?
Your iPad/iPod/iPhone
has no contact with
thespeaker dock.
• Make sure that your iPad/iPod/iPhone is properly
inserted into thespeaker dock.
• Make sure that there are no foreign objects on
theconnectors of either thespeaker dock or
theiPad/iPod/iPhone.
• Test thefunction of your iPad/iPod/iPhone when it is
not connected to thespeaker dock.
Your iPad/iPod/iPhone
does not charge in
thespeaker dock.
• Make sure that your iPad/iPod/iPhone is properly
inserted into thespeaker dock.
• Make sure that there are no foreign objects on
theconnectors of either thespeaker dock or
theiPad/iPod/iPhone.
• Make sure that your iPad/iPod/iPhone battery is
working and can be recharged.
Poor sound quality. • The music file could be damaged. Tryplaying thefile
on another player.
• Check thevolume level.
There is no sound
from external audio
devices connected to
theAUX-IN socket.
• Is theexternal equipment switched on?
• Is theconnection cable undamaged and connected
correctly?
The remote control
doesn’twork.
• The batteries might be flat.
Insert2 new AAA/LR03 batteries.
• The remote control is out ofrange.
• The remote control is pointed at too great anangle
for theIR sensor.
• There is anobstruction (e.g furniture) preventing
signal reception.
Disposal
This product should be disposed of in accordance with local regulations.

• Standbyomkopplaren på fjärrkontrollen skiljer inte högtalaren från elnätet.
• Bryt strömmen till högtalaren genom att dra stickproppen ur vägguttaget.
Stickproppen måste vara lättåtkomlig.
• Misshandla inte nätsladden. Bäraldrig högtalaren inätsladden. Ryckinte isladden
utan dra istickproppen när du bryter strömmen. Setill att nätsladden inte kommer
ikontakt med värme, vassa kanter eller kläms på någotsätt.

Användning
Lyssna på musik från iPad/iPod/iPhone
1. Anslut nätadaptern till dess anslutning på högtalaren och till ettvägguttag.
Indikatorn lyser med fast rött sken vilket indikerar standbyläge.
2. Slå på högtalaren genom att trycka [►ll] på högtalaren eller [ ] på fjärrkontrollen.
Indikatorn lyser med fast lilasken.
Obs!Draner volymen på din enhet innan den ansluts till högtalaren.
Obs!Varextra försiktig vid anslutning av iPad2 och iPad3. Enheternas utformning
gör att de måste vinklas rätt vid anslutning.
3. Anslut försiktigt din enhet till högtalarens dockningskontakt. Indikatorn byter
automatiskt till fast blått sken (iPad-/iPod-/iPhoneläge) eller tryck [MODE] tills
indikatorn lyser med fast blått sken. Högtalaren spelar automatiskt upp den musik
som finns på dinenhet.
4. Styr högtalarens funktioner på det sätt som beskrivs under avsnitt Knappar och
funktioner ovan.
