Please read theentire instruction manual before using theproduct and then save

it for future reference. We reserve theright for any errors in text or images and any

Safety

Caution: Toxic vapours and mists can be produced when the spray gun is used.

Theinhalation of toxic substances can cause serious damage to health. Always wear

protective eyewear, gloves and arespirator to prevent toxic substances from entering

thebody through contact with theskin, eyes or inhalation.

• Always work in well-ventilated areas to avoid exposure to concentrations of

ﬂammable or toxic substances.

• Never use oxygen or any kind of gas in pressurised bottles as apropellent for

thecoating material. Doing so can lead to anexplosion or serious personal injury.

• Never use the spray gun closer than 8m to theair compressor. If possible,

thecompressor should be located in another room. Never spray towards

any part of theair compressor, electrical connections or switches.

• Liquids and solvents can be combustible or highly ﬂammable. Theproduct must

only be used in well-ventilated areas where there are no sources of ignition such

as people smoking or naked ﬂames.

• Never spray combustible materials close to naked ﬂames or any equipment which

could generate sparks. Motors, electrical equipment and switches can generate

sparks which can ignite combustible gases and fumes. Never store combustible

liquids or gases close to anair compressor.

• Do not use theproduct incorrectly. Prolonged exposure to vibrations, irregular or

repetitive spraying actions can lead to hand and arm injuries. Stop working if you

experience any kind of pain, tingling, numbness or other symptoms.

• Always follow themanufacturer’s recommendations when using and cleaning

theproduct.

• Never spray acids, corrosive liquids, toxic chemicals, fertilisers or insecticides.

Doing so could result in death or serious injury.

• Disconnect theproduct from theair compressor and empty thepaint cup before

cleaning theproduct and when it is not in use. It is agood idea to install anair

shut-off ball-valve in theair supply hose so that you can quickly shut off theair

supply if necessary.

• Use a clean, dry and regulated supply of compressed air at apressure of 2.0–3.5 bar.

Never exceed themaximum operating pressure of 5 bar.

• Caution: Risk of personal injury! Never point thespray gun at yourself, other

persons or animals.

• Make sure that thework environment is clean and free from contaminants. Never

aim thespray gun at dust or particles of dirt, they could damage theworkpiece.

• Make sure that none of thecomponents in theair supply system are subjected to

pressures exceeding 5 bar.

• Keep all air hoses away from sharp objects. Anexploding air hose could result

in aserious injury. Examine all air hoses and connectors regularly and replace if

damaged.

• Check that all theparts are intact, correctly assembled and that all connections are

tight before operating theproduct.

• Never modify theproduct in any way. Only use spare parts and accessories that

are recommended by themanufacturer.

• Never let children use or play with thespray gun.

Preparations

Suitable coating materials

Water- and solvent-based paints, 2-component paints, primers, clear ﬁnishes, vehicle

ﬁnishes, glazes, wood preservatives (sealants, oils, etc) and wood stains.

Unsuitable coating materials

Emulsion paints, alkaline paints, calcimine paints (whitewash), distemper, materials

with aﬂashpoint below 21 ºC.

Preparing thecoating material (thinning)

Thoroughly shake thecan of coating material before opening it. Coatings such as

paints normally need to be diluted/thinned before spraying. Test asmall amount

of thecoating before diluting it all. Follow themanufacturer’s advice for thinning

thecoating you are using. Consult your local paint dealer if you are uncertain.

Spray painting

1. Remove thelid of thepaint cup and ﬁll thecup ¾ full.

2. Reﬁt thelid and switch theair compressor on.

Caution: Never exceed themaximum operating pressure (5 bar) in any part of

theair hose system.

3. Check that thelid of thepaint cup is tight, that thecup is ﬁtted correctly onto

thespray gun and screwed tight and that all theconnections in theair hose

system are correctly ﬁtted.

Preparation of theworkpiece to be coated

• Thequality of theﬁnish will depend on how clean and smooth thesurface is before

it is sprayed. Sand and ﬁll rough or cracked surfaces if required. Remove all dust

from thework area before starting to spray, vacuum clean if possible.

• Cover all surfaces and objects that should not be sprayed with masking tape and

dust sheets or remove them from thework area.

• Cover all hinges, screw threads, etc.

Spraying technique

Wrong Right

1. When working outdoors,

pay attention to thewind

direction.

2. Begin by test spraying

on apiece of card to set

thecorrect spray pattern

and feed rate before starting

to spray theobject to be

coated (settings described

in next section).

3. Hold thespray gun

perpendicular to thesurface

to be coated and at

adistance of 10–30 cm.

4. Begin spraying outside thetarget area and move your arm in asmooth motion

from side to side or up and down.

5. Move thespray gun evenly cross-wise or up-and-down, depending on thespray

pattern setting.

6. Let each pass of thespray jet overlap by 4–5 cm.

7. Do not interrupt thespraying action once inside thetarget area.

8. Aneven movement of thespray gun results in aneven surface quality.

9. Varying thedistance or spraying angle will lead to theformation of mist,

resulting in anuneven coating.

10. Finish thespraying motion outside thetarget area.

11. Do not operate thespray gun until thepaint cup is completely empty. If thespray

gun can no longer feed coating material to thenozzle during operation, there will

be aninterruption in thespraying resulting in anuneven ﬁnish.

12. If either thenozzle or air cap are soiled, they should be cleaned with theappropriate

thinning agent.

Spray pattern

• Turn thespray pattern control knob (5) all theway backwards for around pattern.

• Turn theknob forwards to increase thespread for anellipse pattern.

Fluid volume

• Turn theﬂuid control knob (6) clockwise to reduce theﬂuid output.

• Turn theadjustment knob anticlockwise to increase theﬂuid output.

Air flow

Turn theair adjustment knob (3) to change theair ﬂow.

After finishing work

Note: Clean thespray gun immediately after ﬁnishing work. Never let coating material

dry in thespray gun.

1. Switch off theair compressor and disconnect thespray gun from theair hose.

2. Remove thelid of thepaint cup and dispose of any superﬂuous coating material.

3. Wipe as much coating material residue as you can from thecup with acloth.

4. Pour asmall amount of solvent into thepaint cup.

5. Reconnect thespray gun to theair hose and start theair compressor.

6. Spray thesolvent through thegun until all thepassages within thegun are

clear of coating material.

7. Disassemble thespray gun by

removing thenozzle, needle

and ﬁlter which are located

inside theﬂuid inlet joint. Use

thesupplied spanner.

8. Clean all theparts of thespray

gun thoroughly with asuitable

solvent depending on which type

of coating material you are using.

9. Assemble all theparts and ﬁll

thepaint cup with solvent.

Note: Never use metal implements

to clean thespray gun, they can

damage thespray gun.

Care and maintenance

• Fully unscrew theﬂuid control knob (6) to release thepressure on thespring and

needle when thespray gun is not in use.

• Lightly lubricate theneedle with alittle grease or oil.

incorrect waste disposal, theproduct must be handed in for recycling

so that thematerial can be disposed of in aresponsible manner. When

recycling your product, take it to your local collection facility or contact

theplace of purchase. They will ensure that theproduct is disposed of in

anenvironmentally sound manner.

elanslutningar eller strömbrytare.

• Vätskor och lösningsmedel kan vara brännbara och mycket lättantändliga. Produkten

får endast användas ivälventilerade utrymmen där ingen risk för antändning från

t.ex. rökning eller öppen eld föreligger.

• Spruta aldrig brännbart material inärheten av öppen eld eller utrustning där gnistor

kan bildas. Motorer, elektrisk utrustning och strömbrytare kan skapa gnistor som

kan antända brännbara gaser och ångor. Förvara aldrig brännbara vätskor eller

gaser inärheten av enkompressor.

• Använd inte produkten på fel sätt. Att under längre perioder utsättas för vibrationer,

onormala eller ständigt upprepade rörelser kan leda till skador på händer och

armar. Avbryt arbetet om du upplever någon form av smärta, domning eller andra

symptom.

• Följ alltid tillverkarens rekommendationer vid sprutmålning och efterföljande rengöring

av produkten.

• Spruta aldrig syror, frätande vätskor, giftiga kemikalier, gödningsmedel eller medel

• Koppla bort produkten från kompressorn och töm produktens behållare vid rengöring

och när den inte används. Använd gärna enlättåtkomlig kulventil så att du snabbt

kan stänga av lufttillförseln vid behov.

• Använd ren, torr luft som drivkälla, lämpligt tryck 2,0–3,5 bar. Överskrid aldrig

rekommenderat maxtryck 5 bar.

• Varning! Risk för personskada. Rikta aldrig sprutpistolen mot dig själv eller mot

andra personer eller djur.

damm eller andra lösa partiklar, detta kan förstöra arbetsstycket.

• Se till att inga tryckluftsslangar riskerar att skadas av vassa föremål. Enexploderande

slangar och kopplingar och byt ut vid behov.

• Innan arbetet påbörjas, kontrollera att produkten är hel och att alla anslutningar

och justeringar är åtdragna och korrekt anslutna och monterade.

• Modiﬁera aldrig produkten på något sätt. Använd endast reservdelar och tillbehör

som rekommenderats av tillverkaren.

• Låt aldrig barn leka med eller använda sprutpistolen.
