Safety
• This product must not be used by anyone (including children) suffering from
physical or mental impairment. Thisproduct should not be used by anyone who
does not have theproper experience or knowledge of theproduct unless they have
been instructed in its use by someone who takes responsibility for their safety.
• Never let children play with theproduct.
• Never use therice cooker if themains lead is damaged.
• If themains lead is damaged, it must only be replaced by theretailer or
manufacturer.
• Check that thepower in thewall socket matches thepower on therice cooker’s
rating plate (230 V).
• Make sure that thelead never hangs down from thetable or worktop or comes
onto contact with hot surfaces such as cooker hobs.
• The rice cooker should only be connected to anearthed wall socket.
• Do not turn therice cooker on before inserting theinnerbowl.
• Place therice cooker on aflat, stable surface while it is inuse.
• Place therice cooker out of children’sreach.
• Bear in mind that therice cooker’s casing may get hot during use.
• Never put therice cooker into water and never rinse it under running water.
• Do not use therice cooker for frozen foods.
• The inner bowl may only be used for cooking with therice cooker – never place
theinner bowl directly onto any source ofheat.
• Never block thelid’s steam opening with any object, such as anoven cloth,
duringuse.
• Always unplug thelead and let therice cooker cool down before cleaning.
• Bear in mind that thekeep-warm function is activated as long as thelead is
connected to thewall socket.
