Warning:
- Avoid spilling water or food onto the plug.
- The rice cooker must only be used as described in this instruction
manual. Incorrect use can lead to serious injury or damage to the
appliance or other property.
- Handle the appliance with caution, hot surfaces will remain hot after
the appliance has been switched off.
• The product may be used by children of 8 years and above and by
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capability or lack of
experience and knowledge provided they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the product in a safe way and under-
stand the hazards involved.
• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they
are older than 8 and supervised.
• Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged less than
8 years.
• Children shall not play with the appliance.
• The product is only intended for normal domestic use as described in
this instruction manual and in similar environments such as canteens,
offices, and hotels.
• Never use therice cooker if themains lead is damaged.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer,
its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
• Check that thepower in thewall socket matches thepower on
therice cooker’s rating plate (220–240 V).
• Make sure that thelead never hangs down from thetable or counter top.
Thelead should never come into direct contact
with hot surfaces such as gas rings or electric hobs.
