Weighing
Note: Flouris only measured in cups. 1 cup = 241ml.
1. Placed thekitchen scale on afirm, flat surface.
2. If themeasuring jug is to be used, place thejug onto thescale.
3. Press [ON/OFF, ZERO] to switch thekitchen scale on, thescale will start in
weighing mode.
4. Wait until “0” is displayed. Placetheobject to be weighed onto thescale or in
thejug and read theweight reading.
Measuring thevolume of milk (in ml)
1. Place thekitchen scale on afirm, flat surface.
2. Place themeasuring jug onto thescale.
3. Press [ON/OFF, ZERO] to switch thekitchen scale on, thescale will start in
weighing mode.
4. Wait until “0” is displayed. Press[MODE] until thearrow symbol indicates that
“MILK” is selected.
5. Press [UNIT] to select ml as theunit of measurement.
6. Pour milk into themeasuring jug.
7. Read thevolume on thedisplay.
Tare function
The tare function enables you to measure several ingredients together in themeasuring
jug at thesame time without having to empty thejug between measurements.
1. Add thefirst ingredient until thecorrect amount is shown on thedisplay.
2. Leave thefirst ingredient in thejug and press [ON/OFF, ZERO]. Thescale will be
reset tozero.
3. Add thenext ingredient until thecorrect amount is shown on thedisplay.
Press[ON/OFF,ZERO]. Thescale will once again be set tozero.
4. Add thenext ingredient and so on, until all theingredients have been weighed.
Changing theunit of weight
Press [UNIT] to toggle theunit between g(grams) and lb:oz (pounds/ounces).
Changing theunit of volume
Press [UNIT] to toggle between ml, fl oz andcups.
Error/Warning messages
1. Replace thebattery.
2. Overload - thescale’s weight capacity (3 kg) has
beenexceeded. Removetheload from thescale to
prevent damage.
