Safety
• Theproduct is only intended for personal domestic use and only in themanner described
in this instruction manual.
• Do not subject theproduct to vibrations, impacts or extreme temperatures.
• Do not overload theproduct; themax weight of 5 kg must not be exceeded.
• Do not place anything on theproduct when it is not in use.
Batteries
1. Open thebattery compartment on thebottom of thescale and insert 2×AAA/LR03 batteries
(sold separately). Refer to themarkings in thebattery compartment to ensure correct polarity.
Never mix old and new batteries. Never mix rechargeable and non-rechargeable batteries.
2. Refit thebattery compartment cover.
Buttons
• [UNIT] Select thefunction (weighing foodstuffs in solid or liquid form), select themeasurement unit.
• [ /ZERO] On/off, reset, tare function.
On/off
• Press [ /ZERO] to switch thescale on.
• When thedisplay shows “0” press [ /ZERO] to switch thescale off.
• When thedisplay shows aweight, hold in [ /ZERO] to turn off.
• Thescale turns off automatically if it is left idle for 2 minutes.
Display backlight
Thedisplay backlight will go out automatically after 15 seconds, but theweight will still be displayed.
If you add additional ingredients (before the2 minutes has elapsed), thelight comes on again.
