Tower Fan with Remote Control

Please read theentire instruction manual before using theproduct and then save
it for future reference. Wereserve theright for any errors in text or images and any
necessary changes made to technicaldata. Intheevent of technical problems or other
queries, please contact our Customer Services (see address details on theback).
Safety
• Never use theproduct if themains lead, plug or any other part is damaged or does
not work properly.
• Theproduct must only be connected to astandard domestic 220–240V, 50/60Hz
electrical supply.
• Never attempt to repair or modify theproduct in anyway.
• Never use theproduct if it does not work properly or if thehousing, mains lead or
plug is damaged in anyway.
• If themains lead is damaged in any way it must be replaced by aqualified
electrician.
• Theproduct is only intended for indoor use in adry, clean environment. Neverposition
theproduct in such away that it might fall into water or other liquid.
• Never position theproduct in such away that it comes into contact with hot surfaces.
• Always unplug theproduct from thepower point when it is not inuse.
• Never lay themains lead over hot surfaces, sharp edges or corners.
• Theproduct is only intended for personal domestic use and only in themanner
described in this instruction manual.
• Never poke your fingers or foreign objects through thegrille while thefan is operating.
• Never leave children unsupervised in thevicinity of theproduct.
• Never expose theproduct to water or other liquids.
• Do not turn on thepower before theproduct is completely assembled. Theproduct
must only be used in theupright position, never horizontally or when it is lying on itsside.
• Never turn theproduct off by pulling theplug out of thewall socket. Turnoff
theproduct using thepower button and then unplug it from thewall socket.
• Make sure that theproduct is completely assembled before using it for thefirsttime.
• Never use theproduct in areas where explosive gases or substances are stored.
• Do not use theproduct in excessively humid or dusty environments or in
environments in which thetemperature exceeds 40°C.
• Persons (including children) whose physical, sensory or mental capability or lack of
experience and knowledge which renders them incapable of using theproduct in asafe
way, must not be allowed to use theproduct without proper supervision or instruction.
• Never let children play with theproduct.

Remote control
The remote control buttons and functions are identical
to the ones on the fan as described above.
1. Remove theplastic tab to activate thebattery.
2. To change the battery, pull out the battery tray
on the bottom of the remote control and replace
theold battery with a new one (CR2032).
Makesure that thepositive (+) terminal faces
upwards, towards you (refer to illustration).
Operating instructions
Switching on/o
1. Place thefan on afirm, level surface and plug it into apowerpoint.
2. Press [ ] to turn thefanon.
3. Press [ ] again to turn itoff.
Fanspeed
Press [ ] (9) repeatedly to select thefan speed 1–8.
Normal, interval or sleep mode
Normal mode
1. Turn thefanon.
2. Press [ ] (7) until theLED indicators for Interval and Sleep are no longerlit.
Interval mode
1. Turn thefanon.
2. Press [ ] (7) until theLED indicator for theInterval mode islit.
3. Thefan will then automatically change speed at intervals which
are programmed in at thefactory (cannot be altered). Allthefan
speeds (1–8) will be used in cycles of 120 seconds. Youcannot
change thefan speed manually when thefan is in Intervalmode.

Sleep mode
1. Turn thefanon.
2. Press [ ] (7) until theLED indicator for theSleep mode islit.
3. Thefan reduces speed successively by changing to alower
speed setting every 7 minutes until finally staying on fan speed1.
Youcannot change thefan speed manually when thefan is in
Sleepmode.
Oscillation
1. Press [ ] (6) to switch theoscillating action of thefanon.
2. Press thebutton again to turn off this function.
Timer function
1. Press [ ] (8) to set thetime in 30-minute intervals from
30minutes to 8hours.
2. Thefan will turn off automatically once theset time has
passed. Thetimer function can be used with any of
thefunctions describedabove. Thedisplay panel shows
theset timer time for afew seconds before reverting to
displaying thetemperature. Thepicture shows that thetimer
is set for 2hours.
Care and maintenance
• Always unplug theproduct from thewall
socket before cleaning.
• Wipe theoutside of thehousing with
aclean, dampcloth. Useonly mild
cleaning agents, never solvents or
corrosive chemicals.
• Always unplug thefan and store it in
adry, dust-free environment out of
children’s reach whenever it is not to be
used for anextended period.
Cleaning theair intake lter
If theair intake filter needs cleaning it can be
removed and vacuum-cleaned (see fig.).

Responsible disposal
This symbol indicates that this product should not be disposed of with

Fjärrkontroll
Fjärrkontrollens knappar och funktioner
överensstämmer med ovanstående beskrivning.
1. Dra bort plastfliken för att aktivera batteriet.
2. Om du behöver byta batteriet, dra ut batterihållaren
på fjärrkontrollens baksida och sätt iettnytt batteri
(1×CR2032). Setill att batteriets pluspol vänds
som på bilden.
Användning
På/av
1. Placera fläkten på ettplant och stabilt underlag och anslut nätkabelns
stickpropp till ettvägguttag.
2. Tryck [ ] för att slåpå.
3. Tryck [ ] igen för att slåav.
Fläkthastighet
Tryck upprepade gånger på [ ] (9) för att välja fläkthastighet 1–8.
Normal-, intervall- eller insomningsfunktion
Normal funktion
1. Slå på fläkten.
2. Tryck [ ] (7) tills LED-indikatorerna för intervall-resp. insomningsfunktion är släckta.
Intervallfunktion
1. Slå på fläkten.
2. Tryck [ ] (7) tills LED-indikatorn för intervallfunktionentänds.
3. Fläkten byter automatiskt hastighet iintervall som är
programmerade från fabrik (intervallen kan inte ändras).
Allafläkthastigheter (1–8) används icykler om 120sek. Dukan
inte själv byta fläkthastighet när intervallfunktionen ärvald.
