Safety
• High intensity LED module. Do not look directly into thelight or direct thelight into another
person’s eyes, doing so could cause eye damage.
• Do not touch thefloodlight’s housing or glass when it is on – risk of burn injury.
• Under no circumstances should thefloodlight be mounted onto any flammable surfaces.
• Thefloodlight is suitable for use in temperatures between −30 and +40 °C.
• Thefloodlight is designed to be wall mounted.
• Thefloodlight is designed for fixed installation.
• Fixed wire installation should only be performed by anauthorised electrician.
• Themains lead should be checked regularly. Neveruse thework light if themains lead or
plug is damaged.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or
qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

Placement
• Thefloodlight is approved for outdoor use.
• Thefloodlight must not be used in explosive environments or close to chemicals.
• Thefloodlight may be mounted on plasterboard, wooden or brick walls. It must not be
mounted on walls made of, or coated with, flammable materials such as polystyrene or
plastic. Do not install thefloodlight on damp surfaces or conductive metal surfaces.
Thefloodlight must not be placed close to flammable materials.
• Thefloodlight’s optimal mounting height is 2–4.5 m above thedetection zone.
• Ensure that thefloodlight is installed in such away that air is free to circulate around it.
• Make sure that thedesired wall mounting location is free from hidden electrical conduit or
plumbing before drilling any holes.
Consider thefollowing for thebest results:
• Do not point thesensor at thesun.
• To avoid thelight coming on unnecessarily, do not aim thePIR sensor towards heat sources
such as BBQ’s, AC units, other outdoor lighting, car headlights or sources of electromagnetic
interference such as transformers.
• Do not aim thePIR sensor at reflective surfaces such as white walls or swimming pools.
ThePIR sensor’s detection zone (max 12 m at
140°) can vary depending on mounting height
and positioning. Changes in temperature can
affect thePIR sensor’s range.
ThePIR sensor has a90°
adjustment range (see illustration).
Before positioning thefloodlight, bear in mind
that movement across thedetection zone will be
detected sooner than any movement towards or
away from thesensor.

Installation
• Important: Read theentire instruction manual before installation. Installation should be
carried out by aqualified electrician and conform to current regulations.
• Warning: Make sure that thepower is turned off and that thefuse is removed before
beginning any installation or service.
• Thefloodlight must only be connected to a230V, 50Hz power supply.
• Warning: Make sure that thechosen wall mounting area is free from electrical conduit or
plumbing.
1. Thefloodlight is intended for fixed installation and should be connected to acircuit protected
by asafety device such residual current circuit breaker (RCCB/RCD).
2. Mark out theposition of themounting holes on thewall using thewall bracket (3) as
atemplate. Drill holes for themounting screws. Use suitable screws (and wall plugs if
necessary). Thefloodlight must be fixed securely.
3. Screw thefloodlight onto thewall bracket.
4. Thefloodlight has 50 cm connection cable. It should be connected to awatertight
connection box (sold separately) with astrain relief (as pictured).
5. Use theconnection box as atemplate to mark out theposition of themounting holes. Make
sure that themounting surface is flat. Drill holes for themounting screws. Use suitable
screws (and wall plugs if necessary).
6. Connect thethree wires: L Live (brown), N Neutral (blue) and Protective Earth (green/yellow).
7. Tilt thelamp housing to thedesired angle and tighten thelocking screws (2).

Settings
Duration time [TIME ]
Thelength of time thelight remains on can be set from 15 sec. to approx. 10 minutes (adjustable).
Adjust theduration time by turning the [ TIME ] knob towards + or – respectively.
Note: Every new detected movement resets theduration time.
Activation light level [ LUX ]
Thesensor has aphotocell which detects various degrees of light and darkness. Adjust
theactivation light level by turning the [ LUX ] knob between and . Use to adjust thedawn-
to-dusk sensitivity level for turning thelight on at dawn and the dusk-to-dawn sensitivity level
for turning thelight off at dusk.
PIR sensor
1. Set the [LUX] knob to and allow thePIR sensor to calibrate for 30 sec. Make sure that
the [TIME] knob is set to its minimum setting (-). Thefloodlight will now come on for 5 seconds
(this will occur within 1 minute).
2. Aim thesensor towards thedesired detection zone.
3. Have someone move across thedetection zone. Adjust thePIR sensor’s aim so that it
triggers thelight to come on by theperson moving across thedetection zone.
4. Adjust thelight - on time as desired by setting the [TIME] knob.
5. Setting theLux level for desired light activation: Turn the [ LUX ] knob from to ‚ so that
thelight is set to only activate while dark.
To set thelight to come on at dusk: Wait until thelight has dropped to thedesired level.
Then slowly turn the [ LUX ] knob towards theSun symbol ,whilst having someone slowly walk
across thedetection zone. Keep turning theknob until light comes on and leave it at that setting.
Note: This procedure may need to be repeated several times before thecorrect setting is found.

Cleaning
Wipe thePIR sensor’s diffuser with adamp cloth afew times ayear. Never remove thePIR
sensor housing. This may cause damage and invalidate theguarantee.
Responsible disposal
This symbol indicates that this product should not be disposed of with general
household waste. This applies throughout theentire EU. In order to prevent any
harm to theenvironment or health hazards caused by incorrect waste disposal,
theproduct must be handed in for recycling so that thematerial can be disposed
of in aresponsible manner. When recycling your product, take it to your local
collection facility or contact theplace of purchase. They will ensure that theproduct
is disposed of in anenvironmentally sound manner.

Placering
• Vägglampan är godkänd för användning utomhus.
• Vägglampan får inte användas iexplosiva miljöer eller där kemikalier finns inärheten.
• Vägglampan får monteras på gipsskiva, trä eller tegelvägg. Den får inte monteras på eldfarliga
ytor som t.ex. polystyren eller annan plast. Montera inte vägglampan på fuktiga ytor eller på
ledande ytor av metall. Vägglampan får inte placeras inärheten av eldfarliga material.
• Lämplig monteringshöjd är 2–4,5 m över området som ska avsökas.
• Se till att det finns fritt utrymme runt vägglampan så att luften kan cirkulera.
• Försäkra dig om att den plats på väggen där vägglampan ska monteras är fri från gömda el-
och vattenledningar innan du borrar iväggen.
Tänk på följande för bästa resultat:
• Rikta inte rörelsesensorn mot solen.
• För att undvika att belysningen tänds ionödan ska inte rörelsesensorn riktas mot värmekällor
som t.ex. grill, luftkonditioneringsaggregat, annan utomhusbelysning, bilstrålkastare eller
elektromagnetiska störningskällor, t.ex. transformatorer.
• Rikta inte rörelsesensorn mot reflekterande ytor, t.ex. vit vägg eller pool.
Rörelsesensorns avsökningsområde
(max 12 m inom vinkeln 140°) kan variera
beroende på monteringshöjd och placering.
Temperaturändring kan ändra räckvidden för
rörelsesensorn.
Rörelsesensorns vinkel kan justeras
i90°.
Innan du väljer plats för belysningen, tänk på
att rörelse tvärs över avsökningsområdet tänder
tidigare än rörelse mot eller från rörelsesensorn.
