• Never use thetool in such away that it is pointed at yourself or someone else in thework area.
• Do not use thetool as ahammer.
• Carry thetool by thehandle, not by theair hose.
• Never carry thetool with thetrigger depressed.
• Never modify thetool in departure from theoriginal design.
• Always keep in mind that misuse or faulty handling of this tool could injure yourself and others.
• Never fasten or tape thesafety catch and/or trigger in activated position.
• Never leave atool unattended when it is connected to theair line.
• Do not use this tool if it does not bear alegible warning decal.
• Do not continue using atool that is leaking air or is not working properly. Contact our
Customer Service for servicing.
• When using thetool, hold it in such away that no injury to thehead or body could result
should afall in pressure or hard spots on theworkpiece cause therecoil force to increase.
• Do not nail too close to theedge of aworkpiece. Thenail could pass through theworkpiece
and cause damage.
• Disconnect thetool from thecompressed air for transporting.
• Check frequently that both thetrigger and thesafety catch are working properly.
• Do not take apart any part of thetool.
• Make no provisional repairs.
• Always have authorized personnel do servicing and repairs, and only with original spare parts.
• Avoid weakening thehousing by engraving or scratching it, etc.
• Always make anote of where theelectric cable goes into walls, floors or ceilings before you

Compressed air feed and connections
Warning:
To prevent accidents due to unintended firing, theoperator should always disconnect
thecompressed air:
• Before adjusting
• When cleaning thenail gun
• When removing astuck nail
• When thetool is not being used
• When moving thetool to another work area
Warning:
• Use only compressed air in pneumatically driven tools. Never use acid or flammable gases to
drive thetool since they carry therisk of explosion.
• Thecompressor capacity must be sufficient to ensure anadequate air pressure and flow for
theintended use. Afall in pressure in thesystem can reduce thetool’s thrust. See Specifications
for setting theright pressure for thetool.
• Thecompressed air lines should be mounted on anincline, with thehighest point closest to
thecompressor. Aneasily accessed water separator should be installed at thelowest points.
Thewater separator should be emptied at least once aday, or more often if needed. Dirt and
water in thecompressed air lines are one of many causes of wear in pneumatically actuate tools.
• Thetool connection fittings should be equipped with areducing valve with water separator
directly at theconnection site. Afilter helps to achieve maximum effect at minimum wear.
Thefilter must have sufficient flow capacity for theintended mounting site or connecting point.
Thefilter must be kept clean if it is to be able to deliver clean compressed air to thetool. See
themanufacturer‘s instructions for proper filter care. Adirty or clogged filter will cause afall in
pressure, which reduces thenail gun’s effectiveness.
• Thepressure regulator must be adjustable from 0 to 7 bar.
• Theair hoses must tolerate at least 10.5 bar working pressure or 150% of themaximum
air pressure thesystem can create. Themeter line should have aquick coupling for quick
detachment from thenail gun’s nipple.
• Make sure that thecompressed air fed to thenail gun does not exceed themaximal
permissible working pressure (7 bar). Initially set themeter pressure at thelowest
recommended working pressure; See Specifications.
• Check that thenail gun is working properly by running function and safety checks for every job.
Warning:
To prevent serious eye injury from flying nails and/or slivers, theoperator and others in
theworking area must be equipped with eye protection that covers both thefront and thesides
when loading, using or servicing thetool.
Glasses without eye protection on theside and facemasks do not give adequate protection.

Installation
Suggestion for installation
• Thecompressor used to drive thetool must be able to maintain aworking pressure of at least
4 bar for thetool to work properly.
• Use quick-couplings to easily disconnect thetool and hose from thecompressor.
• Make sure that theconnected tool and hoses do not have alower capacity than
thecompressor and that they are correctly fitted.
• If apressure regulator is used it must be able to be set for aworking pressure of 4–7 bar.
Lubrication
Note: Lubricate thetool with afew drops of oil in theair-line connection before using thetool for
thefirst time.
1. Disconnect thecompressed air from
thenail gun.
2. Put 4–5 drops of oil in theair inlet.
Note: Do not use ordinary motor oil as
it contains additives that will damage
thetool. Oil for lubricating apneumatic
tool is available commercially.
3. Wipe away any oil that may come out of
theair inlet when beginning to
use thetool.
Function and safety checks
1. Disconnect thecompressed air from thenail gun.
2. Remove any nails from themagazine.
3. Make sure that thesafety lock moves freely up and down by pressing thetool against awork surface.
4. Connect to thecompressed air.
5. Press thetool against thework surface. Thetool must not fire.

Setting the impact depth and impact force
A. Adjusting the impact depth with the adjustment knob
Turn the adjustment knob (4) anticlockwise to reduce the impact depth or clockwise to increase
the impact depth.
The rubber guard (8) can be removed to increase the impact depth even more.
B. Adjusting the impact force with pressure regulator on air hose
If thenail has not been driven deep enough first check whether theimpact depth adjustment knob (4)
is set at themaximum nail depth. If it is at themaximum raise theair pressure by 0.5 bar
increments and check with thenailing control after each increment. Do not exceed themax.
working pressure (7 bar).
If thenail has been driven in too deep, reduce theair pressure by 0.5 bar at atime, checking
theresult each time. Do not go below theminimum recommended working pressure (4 bar).
Always work with thelowest possible working pressure. This minimizes thenoise and vibration
levels and theinternal components of thenail gun will last longer.
Removing a nail that has become jammed
1. Disconnect theair hose from thenail gun.
2. Remove themagazine and dislodge thenail that has
become stuck and/or remove the3 screws which hold
thefront plate in place using theincluded Allen key.
3. Remove both theouter and inner front plate.
4. Remove thenail that has become stuck and then refit
thefront plate.
