Congure the Switch

To use your Web browser to access the web pages used to set up the Router,

your computer’s IP settings must be congured be in the same subnet as the

VLAN Switch. The default IP address of the Switch is 192.168.0.1 with a subnet

mask of 255.255.255.0, therefore your computer needs an IP address in the

range 192.168.0.2 to 192.168.0.254.

The Web Manager used for conguration uses directories to organize the various menus used to congure and

monitor the VLAN Switch. The rst page that appears after logging in presents the Device Management display

menu in the System menu directory.

NOTE: The wrong proxy server settings on your browser can

prevent connection to the web manager. If you are having trouble

connecting to the web interface of the Router, congure the proxy

settings to bypass the proxy server or disable use of proxy servers

and try to connect again.

Open your Web browser and type “http://192.168.0.1” into the URL address box. Then press the Enter or

Return key. The login dialog box appears.

Type admin for the User Name and leave the Password eld blank.
