2. Assembly of the Upper & Lower Channels,
to Cabinet,

using lout (4) 1/4" screws,
•"U" Shaped Bottom Channel: Instal!the "U"
shaped channel to the bottom of the cabinet as
shown fn Fig,8using four (4) 1/4" screws,
NOTE: Some models may already have the
bottom channel iaclory installed.
3, Assembly of the Side Curtains to Cabinet.
•Sflde the shutters into the top and bottom
channels as shown In Fig, 9+The shutlers are
!denttl_ed(on frame) as loll &right° Attach the
shutters to the cabinet using four 1/4" screws on
each side,
4, Installation of MounUng Brackets and First
Sealing Strip
SPECIAL NOTE: Windows come In avarlety of
different designs and styles. Therefole, it may be
necessary lo modify or improvise on your
parlicular lnstaltaliem
A. Altach the bracket assembly to the 90_angle
supporl bracke!s (Fig. 16) using four 1 1t2" x
1/4" bolts. ([we bolts per bracket)
Secure with the four i/4" lock washers and four
1/4" nuts. DO NOT immediate!y tighten these
bolts as Itmay be necessary to adjust the depth
el the bracket assembly, depending on the
depth of your window sill. See Fig's° 1B& 19,
Test lhe bracket assembfy In the window before
installing,if satisfied, lighten all belts. Install the
two levelling screws Into the 90" support
brackels_ See Fig. 16 if the levelling screws are
distanced too far away from the wall toprovide
adequate stability, it may be necessary to shim
_hisaraa with a solid piece of wood, See Fig. "[9,
B. Measure the length of the +nsidesill and lind the
senior as shown in Fig. 17.
Measure 12+5"on each side of center and mark
these points, Align the V-siot on the bracket with
each corresponding mark and mount the
brackets Io the sill using two 3/4" screws &two
flat washers per bracket.
Brackels should be perpendicular to the inside
window sill, with step (U) bracket light against the sill.

C. For proper condensatlbn run-off it will be
necessary to adjust the angle/pitch of the window
brackets This Is accomplished by adjusting the
distance o! the leveling screw on Ihe outer waft,
The maximum angle/pitch should not exceed
more than 3116".,See Fig 1B,
