User Instructions
Diagram 1. Harness Fitting
a/b. The user should adjust the harness to ensure
correct sizing and comfort level
e. Sliding web system allows centralisation of pad
and belay loop
The user should carry out a suspension test in a safe place to
confirm these levels
Diagram 2. Tying In
b. Double Tie In Point: crotch height adjustment is
possible by varying the size of the loop of the tie
in knot
c. Single Tie In Point: must only be used on the
belay hoop style of harness
d/e/f. No other part of the harness must be used as a tie in point
g/h/i. Type D Chest harnesses must only be used in
conjunction with a Type C Sit Harness. They should be
used when the user has a high centre of gravity (e.g.
when wearing a rucksack) is wearing a rucksack or has
ill defined hips which would allow the sit harness to
slip over the hips
Diagram 3. Devices
• Abseil and Belay devices should only be connected to the
belay loop or belay hoop
