alongside as it is vital to ensure correct use of your steam generator. Failure to read and
take into account the information could seriously compromise the safety of both objects and
people.

1.1 INTENDED USE
The AQUASTEAM SMART/EASYSTEAM SMART Generator produces non-pressurized
steam by means of
heating elements immersed in the water contained in the boiler; the steam produced in this
way is used to ‘humidify’ the Turkish Bath area, using special diffusers.
The quality of the water used does not affect the evaporation process, so it is possible to use
untreated water, as long as it is potable, or water treated by a water softener; the evaporated
water is automatically re-integrated by means of a ller valve.
This appliance is designed solely for the production of steam. It is for this purpose only, so
all installation, use and maintenance must be executed in conformity with the instructions in
this manual and the information on the labels placed on and inside the appliance.
The ambient conditions and supply voltage must be as specied.
The steam generator must be put to the sole purpose for which it
was intended; any other use is improper and therefore dangerous
Any other use and any changes not expressly authorized by the manufacturer are deemed
improper.
The Manufacturer cannot assume any liability for lesions or
damage due to improper use of the appliance.
As the appliance contains live electrical components and hot surfaces, all servicing and/or
maintenance must be executed by an experienced and qualied technician taking all the
necessary precautions.

1.2 SCOPE OF THE MANUAL
This manual provides all the information required to ensure correct use and proper
maintenance of the AQUASTEAM SMART/EASYSTEAM SMART generator.
You must read this user and maintenance manual carefully before starting up the appliance
for the rst time; only then can you learn how to use our Steam Generator properly and in a
short time.
The good working order of the generator depends largely on good maintenance and
cleaning. It is therefore very important to know how to clean and execute the maintenance.
We therefore advise you to consult the user and maintenance manual, which also
describes start-up, shutdown and good, safe operation.
The generator was designed in conformity with the safety provisions of the following
directives:
• Low voltage directive 2014/35/EU
• RED Directive 2014/53/EU
We constantly seek to improve upon our products, so please note that the generator in your
possession may not be exactly the same as described in this manual. Any differences are
in any case marginal and not substantial.
The Manufacturer reserves the right to take legal action against
all persons who make unauthorized changes to its steam generators.
1.3 IDENTIFICATION OF THE AQUASTEAM SMART/
EASYSTEAM SMART COLUMN
The plate attached to the left side of the column provides all the information required to identify
your generator – the type of product, the model, its power consumption, voltage, serial number,
the year of manufacture, the name of the manufacturer and the CE mark of conformity.

2. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Use of the steam generator for any purposes other than those for
which it has been specically designed is strictly prohibited.
The Hammam/Turkish bath must not be used by anyone suffering
from serious heart disorders, internal inammation, contagious
diseases, epilepsy or who wears a pacemaker.
People taking medications should consult a medical practitioner
before use, since some medications can cause drowsiness
and other may affect the cardiac rhythm, blood pressure and
circulation. The use of alcohol, drugs or other pharmaceuticals
may dramatically increase the risk of hyperthermia.
This manual is an integral part of the product, keep it carefully in
an accessible place. Read this manual carefully before using the
Hammam/Turkish bath.
We recommend seeking medical advice before using the
Hammam/Turkish bath.
The equipment must not be used by children under the age
of 8 and by people with reduced physical, sensorial or mental
capabilities or those lacking the necessary experience or
knowledge, other than under supervision, or if they have been
given instructions for the safe use of the equipment and therefore
understand the risks involved in its use. Do not allow children to
play with the equipment.
Any cleaning and maintenance to be done by the user must not
be done by children without supervision.
Be careful when using the equipment because of the release of
hot water steam (IEC 60335-2-98).
High temperatures have the potential to damage to the foetus
in the early months of pregnancy. Women who are pregnant or
who suspect they may be pregnant should consult a medical
practitioner regarding any exposure. People who are obese
or who have cardiac problems, high or low blood pressure,
cardiovascular conditions or diabetes should consult a medical
practitioner before use.
Carefully follow all the safety instructions and hazard warnings
issued by the authorities of individual countries.
Use of the Hammam/Turkish bath by people (adults or children)
with impaired physical, sensorial or mental capacities that may
prevent the Hammam/Turkish bath being used in total safety
must be supervised or given special instructions.
Always carry out the prescribed checks, inspections and
scheduled maintenance.
Do not introduce other electrical appliances into the steam
generator or bring them into the Hammam/Turkish bath cubicle.

Prolonged use of the Turkish bath may raise the inner body temperature excessively
and weaken its self-regulation capacity (hyperthermia). We recommend staying in the
Turkish bath for a maximum of 15 minutes. Enter the Turkish bath cubicle once it is
full of steam. All users must be informed and given instructions about how to use it.
Take great care using the Turkish bath. The steam diffuser emits hot steam. Do not
touch the steam diffuser.
Label xed to the steam diffuser: warning very hot surfaces. Do not remove it.

The steam diffuser has a front panel made of toughened glass, therefore during installa-
tion and use, normal care should be taken with the glass.
Do not bring into or install in the steam room:
- Animals
- Electrical appliances
- Non-electrical items not suitable for such an environment
The manufacturer accepts no liability for items or animals brought into the steam room.
Do not, for any reason, remove the adhesive labels xed to the generator. If these dete-
riorate, order replacements.
Enter the Turkish bath cubicle once it is full of steam.
All users must be informed and given instructions about how to use it.
Do not cover or place anything on the steam diffuser because this could prevent it work-
ing properly.
The optional LED light is safe and does not carry any risks, in compliance with the stand-
ard IEC/TR 62471-2: 2009.
Be careful when using the equipment because of the release of hot water steam (IEC
60335-2-98).
Disconnect the equipment during relling and cleaning (IEC 60335-2-98).

4 INSTALLATION
4.1. CHECKING THE ROOM FOR THE

4.2. SILICONE COATING ON THE FINISHING FRAME
Put a complete strip of silicone (without gaps) around the entire inner layer of the frame to
be brought in contact with the coating.

4.3. INSERTING THE FINISHING FRAME
Insert the frame, putting the slots on the
respective threaded steel pins.
Be careful not to reverse the top/
bottom position of the frame.
Keep the hooks down.
Once the silicone-coated frame has been positioned,
tighten with the 4 anged nuts in correspondence
to the slots, taking care to keep it well against the
coating and without deforming it.
