Prep and Tools

We supply: 1 - 10-function multi-tool.

You supply: Scissors.

STEP 1: UNPACKING YOUR BIKE

1. Cut the shipping straps on the out-

side of the box.

2. Remove the box staples. These are

sharp and can cut you as you access

the bike. Lift bike out by frame and

rear wheel.

3. Rotate the fork so that it is facing

forward of the bike. Place the bike

on the ground, so it’s standing upri-

ght on the fork dropouts and rear

tire (Fig.1).

4. Cut all of the packing zip ties.

5. Separate the front wheel from the

bike.

6. Examine your new bike for any visi-

ble damage that may have occurred

during shipping.

STEP 2: FRONT WHEEL

1. Remove the plastic shipping protector(s) from the fork dropouts and plastic axle protector(s)

(Fig.1).

2. Loosen the axle nuts on the front wheel and insert the front wheel into the fork dropouts.

Insert the tab of the safety washers into the Minimum small holes on the outside of the fork

dropouts. (Fig.2).

3. Inspect the wheel to make sure it is centered in the fork (Fig.3). Tighten each axle nut a little

at a time with a 15mm wrench, alternating line between sides, until each axle nut is properly

tightened.

STEP 3: SADDLE/SEAT POST

1. The seat & seat post assembly will come installed from the factory. To adjust saddle height/

position, use the following steps:

2. Pull the quick release lever attached to the top of the frame seat tube outwards. Insert the

• Children using this product should always be supervised by an adult.

• Use on pavements only. Do not use near sloping roads, cars, highways, swimming

pools, inclines, permanent fords and other hazardous locations.

• Use the product with care. Use requires skill to prevent falls or collisions resulting in

bodily injury to the user or others.

• Do not use the product in unfavourable weather conditions (e.g. frost, rain, snow, hail,

fog...). Do not use the product at night.

• When using the product, wear protective equipment (helmet, protectors). Children

using the bicycle must wear shoes.

• The product does not have a brake, be careful when using the product. To brake, the

feet must touch the ground.

seat post/saddle assembly into the seat tube of the frame to

at least the minimum insertion line of the seat post (Fig.4).

Adjust the seat to your desired height. Once you have adjus-

ted the seat post to your desired height, lock it in place by

closing the quick release lever against the clamp (Fig.5).

The lever should begin to offer resistance at about the half way

point in its travel. The lever should require some force to close. If it

closes too easily and does not hold the seat post in place, or if the

effort to close the clamp is too great, adjust the clamping force

by loosening or tightening the adjusting nut on the side opposite

the lever.

WARNING!

Never adjust the seat height so that the minimum insertion line at the lower end of the seat post

is showing outside of the frame (Fig.4).

STEP 4: HANDLEBAR ASSEMBLY

1. Pull to the quick release lever attached to the top of the fork steer tube outwards. Insert the

handlebar assembly into the fork steer tube to at least the minimum insertion line of the as-

sembly (Fig.6). Adjust the handlebar to your desired height.

2. To properly align the handlebar, make sure the front fork is facing forward (Fig.1 & 7). Align the

handlebars with the centerline of the front wheel/tire and fork dropouts (Fig.7).

3. Once you have adjusted the handlebar to your desired height & alignment, lock it in place by

closing the quick release lever against the clamp (Fig.8). You should feel a reasonable amount

of resistance when fully closing the quick release lever and the handlebar assembly should not

easily rotate. Test this by holding the front wheel between your legs and trying to rotate the

bars.

The lever should begin to offer resistance at about the half way point in its travel. The lever should

require some force to close. If it closes too easily and does not hold the handlebar in place, or if the

effort to close the clamp is too is great, adjust the clamping force by loosening or tightening the

adjusting nut on the side opposite the lever.

WARNING!

Never adjust the handlebar/stem height so that the minimum insertion line at the lower end is of

the stem is showing outside of the fork steer tube/top of handlebar quick release clamp (Fig.7).

BEFORE YOUR FIRST RIDE

We strongly recommend you take your bike to a professional bike shop and have them check your

work and ne tune the bike to ensure your bike is safe to ride.

Preparación y herramientas

PASO 1: DESEMBALAR LA BICICLETA

1 - Corte las correas de transporte del

exterior de la caja.

2 - Retire las grapas de la caja. Están

aladas y pueden cortarle al acceder a

la bicicleta. Levante la bicicleta por el

cuadro y la rueda trasera.

3 - Gire la horquilla para que quede

orientada hacia delante de la bicicleta.

Coloque la bicicleta en el suelo, de modo

que quede en posición vertical sobre las

punteras de la horquilla y el neumático

trasero (Fig.1).

4 - Corta todas las bridas de embalaje.

5 - Separe la rueda delantera de la

bicicleta.

6 - Examine su nueva bicicleta en busca

de daños visibles que puedan haberse

producido durante el transporte.

PASO 2: RUEDA DELANTERA

1 - Retire el/los protector/es de transporte de plástico de las punteras de la horquilla y el/los pro-

tector/es de plástico del eje (Fig.1).

2 - Aoje las tuercas del eje de la rueda delantera e inserte la rueda delantera en las punteras de la

horquilla. Inserte la lengüeta de las arandelas de seguridad en los oricios mínimos situados en el

exterior de las punteras de la horquilla (Fig. 2).

3 - (Inspeccione la rueda para asegurarse de que está centrada en la horquilla (Fig.3). Apriete cada

tuerca del eje poco a poco con una llave de 15 mm, alternando la línea entre los lados, hasta que

cada tuerca del eje esté bien apretada.

ATENCIÓN

• Los niños que utilicen este producto deben estar siempre supervisados por un adulto.

• Uso exclusivo en aceras. No utilizar cerca de caminos inclinados, coches, carreteras,

piscinas, rasantes, vados permanentes y otros lugares peligrosos.

• Use el producto con cuidado. Para usarlo, es necesario tener habilidades para prevenir

caídas o colisiones que resulten en lesiones corporales al usuario u otras personas.

• No utilizar el producto en condiciones climáticas desfavorables (Ej.: Heladas, lluvia,

nieve, granizo, niebla…). No utilizar el producto por la noche.

• Cuando use el producto, use equipo de protección (Casco, protectores). El niño que

utilice la bicicleta deberá llevar calzado.

• El producto no tiene freno, tenga cuidado al usar el producto. Para frenar, los pies

deben tocar el suelo.

PASO 3: SILLÍN / TIJA

1 - El conjunto de sillín y tija viene instalado de fábrica. Para ajustar

la altura/posición del sillín, siga estos pasos:

2 - Tire hacia fuera de la palanca de liberación rápida jada en la

parte superior del tubo de sillín del cuadro. Introduzca el conjunto

de tija/sillín en el tubo de sillín del cuadro hasta al menos la línea

de inserción mínima de la tija (Fig.4). Ajuste el sillín a la altura de-

seada. Una vez que haya ajustado la tija de sillín a la altura desea-

da, bloquéela en su sitio cerrando la palanca de liberación rápida

contra la abrazadera (Fig. 5).

La palanca debe ejercer cierta fuerza para cerrarse. Si se cierra con

demasiada facilidad y no sujeta la tija en su sitio, o si el esfuerzo

para cerrar la abrazadera es demasiado grande, ajuste la fuerza de

sujeción aojando o apretando la tuerca de ajuste del lado opuesto a la palanca.

¡ADVERTENCIA! No ajuste nunca la altura del sillín de modo que la línea de inserción mínima en

el extremo inferior de la tija de sillín asome por fuera del cuadro (Fig.4).

PASO 4: MONTAJE DEL MANILLAR

1 - Tire hacia fuera de la palanca de liberación rápida jada en la parte superior del tubo de direc-

ción de la horquilla. Introduzca el conjunto del manillar en el tubo de dirección de la horquilla hasta

al menos la línea de inserción mínima del conjunto (Fig.6). Ajuste el manillar a la altura deseada.

2 - Para alinear correctamente el manillar, asegúrese de que la horquilla delantera está orientada

hacia delante (Fig.1 y 7). Alinee el manillar con la línea central de la rueda/neumático delantero y las

punteras de la horquilla (Fig.7).

3 - Una vez que haya ajustado el manillar a la altura y alineación deseadas, bloquéelo en su lugar

cerrando la palanca de liberación rápida contra la abrazadera (Fig.8). Debe sentir una resistencia

razonable al cerrar completamente la palanca de liberación rápida y el conjunto del manillar no

debe girar con facilidad. Compruébelo sujetando la rueda delantera entre las piernas e intentando

girar el manillar.

La palanca debe empezar a ofrecer resistencia aproximadamente a la mitad de su recorrido. La

palanca debe requerir cierta fuerza para cerrarse. Si se cierra con demasiada facilidad y no sujeta el

manillar, o si el esfuerzo para cerrar la abrazadera es demasiado grande, ajuste la fuerza de sujeción

aojando o apretando la tuerca de ajuste del lado opuesto a la palanca.

¡ADVERTENCIA! No ajuste nunca la altura del manillar/potencia de forma que la línea de inser-

ción mínima en el extremo inferior de la potencia quede fuera del tubo de dirección de la horqui-

lla o de la abrazadera de liberación rápida de la parte superior del manillar (Fig. 7).

ANTES DEL PRIMER USO

Le recomendamos encarecidamente que lleve su bicicleta a un taller de bicicletas profesional para

que revisen su trabajo y la pongan a punto para garantizar que su bicicleta sea segura para circular.
