This document contains important
information about the professional
repair of the rotary indexing table of
the type DHTG-…-A.
The rotary indexing table DHTG-…-A is
fully repairable. The costs of carrying
out a repair must, however, be consid-
ered in the case of larger defects.
Before carrying out a repair, the
relevant section in these instructions
must be read in full and followed
consistently.
For reasons of clarity, these repair
instructions do not contain complete,
detailed information. The following
documents should therefore also
be available when repairing a rotary

commissioning, operation, care
and maintenance, etc. Can be
found on the Festo website
(www.Festo.com).
• Spare parts documentation
Contains an overview of the spare
and wearing parts as well as infor-
mation on their installation. Can
be found in the online spare parts
catalogue on the Festo website
(spareparts.Festo.com).
• Assembly aids
Contain an overview of available
assembly aids such as lubricat-
ing greases, locking agents,
maintenance tools, etc. (aids for
assembly and maintenance). Can
be found in the online spare parts
catalogue on the Festo website
(www.Festo.com).

2 General product description
2.1 Functional description
The DHTG-…-A is a rotary indexing table based on the rack and pinion principle for power transmission and forced lock-
ing. The linear motion of two pneumatically actuated rack pistons is converted into swivel motion by a pinion. A second
pair of pistons controls meshing of the pinion in the table gearing and locking of the holding position.
The rotary indexing table DHTG is intended to be used to rotate the effective load by a dened rotation angle into a hold-
ing position.
