GIN KITEBOARDING
GIN KITEBOARDING is a rider’s company. For us, kiteboarding is a priority and a way of life.
The members of GIN’s Development Team have worked and ridden hard throughout the
year to ensure you get the best experience possible through our products. We are stoked to
introduce to you our new GIN kite.
Our philosophy is to create products of the highest quality and performance that are able to
provide us with the maximum satisfaction; we are then more than happy to share these with
YOU and other GIN riders worldwide.
Construction
A highly skilled workforce takes extreme care during the entire manufacturing process of our
kites. Every piece of fabric, reinforcement and detail has been carefully designed, rened and
crafted from the most suitable, selected materials. Everything is then assembled in a nely
controlled process to create this kite.
After several hours of use, you will still discover small details that simplify your kiting life as a
result of the thought GIN put into the design for you.

Technical features
- NEW «MINI GIN LOW FRICTION RING»: The new kite bridle standard devloped by GIN KITE-
BOARDING. No pulleys to break, no sand wear out.
- Single point ination system: You do have the choice of sealing o the connections
between struts and LE. This helps in case of a puncture or to store the kite with struts inated.
The ight of your kite will be also optimised. In order to re-balance the pressure in the whole
kite, open all the connections before inating the LE.
- To replace a bladder:
1. Move the zip tie cover and throw away the plastic zip tie (from the valve of the bladder to
replace).
2. Push down the valve into the direction of the bladder.
3. Change the bladder and use a new plastic zip tie.
4. Place the zip tie cover on the plastic zip tie.

- Handle on the leading edge: The main leading edge tube is equipped with a double use
handle. It enables you to attach the strap of the pump to it, in order to inate the kite safely,
without holding the kite. You will benet from an easy and safe handhold to carry your kite
up-wind, inner surface facing up, top surface down.
- Wave shape protector: The wave shape protector is a special leading edge construction that
protects the kite from any prematurated wear out. The high balanced construction with die-
rent material on each panels gives a very progressive construction from the leading edge to
the canopy: we don’t have any big dierence of weight between each assembled panels. The
shape with waves gives a very smooth eect without any strong angle between the dierent
panels.

- Bridle setting:
Setting for the front lines,
choose between: FREESTYLE/FREERIDE and WAVE
Setting for the back lines to adjust the bar pressure and turn speed, choose between:
SLOWER or STANDARD or FASTER
These 3 possible settings on the wingtip let you adapt the kite very easily to match the mo-
ment and your needs. Then you will be one with your kite!

Safety system
It is imperative that you know the correct operation and assembly of your safety system be-
fore using it. Always check your safety system before each use to make sure that it functions
correctly. Keep the quick release clean of sand, mud, ice or snow before use.
Main quickrelease
1. To release: push the top part of the main quickrelease away from you, in the direction of
the red arrow printed on it. You will be connected to the kite by the kite leash connected to
the safety line of the kite (one front line).
2. To lock: push up the top part of the quickrelease, introduce the metallic loop of the chic-
ken-loop into the main quickrelease piece.
3. Lock the system by covering the metallic pin with the top part of the main quickrelease.
Kite leash
1. To release: push the red tube away from
you, in the direction of the black arrow.
You will not be connected to the kite any
more.
2. To lock: pass one side of the metalic pin
through the loop of the released part. Place
this same side of metallic pin parallel to the
black plastic tube and cover it with the red
tube. The system is locked when the red
tube is touching the black plastic ball.
