Requirements
In order to use the TMP 1000, you will need the following items, which are not
included with the TMP 1000:
• A video recording device such as a DSLR or a Mirrorless camera, a tablet
or a smartphone. The TMP 1000 does not come with a phone or a tablet
mount/adapter.
• A device, typically, a tablet or a cellphone, displaying the script to be read
in front of the camera. The device will need to be equipped with a tele-
prompng applicaon or soware allowing mirroring of text.
• One or mulple tripods capable of supporng the weight of the appa-
ratus mounted on it/them.
Compability
• Tripod/Stands: The TMP 1000 can be mounted on any tripod or C-stand.
Make sure the stand you are using is rated for the weight you are going
to put on it.
• Prompng Device: the maximum display the TMP 1000 will accommo-
date without part of the screen being cut o is 11.5”x 9” or 29cm x 22cm
App Download
Download a free or a paid version of a teleprompter
app in the app store of your tablet or cellphone. The
app must be able to mirror the script in order to func-
on properly with the TMP 1000.

When using a tripod, remove the cheese-plate from
the tripod head and screw it onto one of the
mounng holes at the boom of the TMP 1000.
When using a C-stand, screw the supplied
adapter onto the 3/8-16 mounng hole at the
boom of the TMP 1000 base.
Out of the 2 sets of rails included with the TMP
1000, take 2 of the 4 idencal rails. Slide them
into the 2 openings at the top of the base as
shown in Fig. C.

Out of the 2 sets of rails included with the TMP
1000, take the 2 shorter rails and screw them
into each side of the TMP 1000 base as shown
in Fig. D.

Install the tray onto the rails you
installed in Step 2 as shown in Fig. E.
Once the assembly is complete, you will
place your prompng device on the
Tray.
Slide the beam splier glass onto the 2 rails
on the side the TMP 1000 base.
Make sure that the glass is on the same side
as the Tray as shown in Fig. F.

Use the thumbscrew on each side of the glass
to adjust and/or lock the glass into posion.

Slide the camera plaorm onto the
rails .
Lock the height of the plaorm and
its posion on the rails by ghtening
the screws on the plaorm as
shown in Fig. J.
Please note that depending on your
setup, you might not need the cam-
era plaorm.

Place the cover around the glass.
The cover should be on the opposite
side of the tray as shown in Fig. H.
You should have 2 remaining rails of the
same length. Screw the rails on the rails
from Step 2 as shown in Fig. I.
Please note that depending on your set-
up, you might not need the rails.

screws circled in Fig. I to lock them in
posion.

Seng up your camera
At this point, your setup should look like Fig. K.
Mount your camera onto the Camera Plaorm.

2Move the camera plaorm so that its lens is as close as possible to the beam splier glass.

3Adjust the height of the camera plaorm and the height of the beam splier glass so that the camera
lens is at the center of the glass.

4Place your prompng
device in the tray.

Alternave Setups
The TMP 1000 is modular and can be used with mulple stands or tripods.
Mount your camera on its own tripod and mount the TMP 1000 on another tripod or on a C-Stand.
The TMP 1000 also includes industry standard 15mm rail so you can mount your own rail system on the
TMP 1000.
