resonance on your components.
Please read this manual completely prior to assembly and use of your RXR Audio
Stand. It contains instructions necessary for proper assembly, use, and care of
this system. Proper care of your RXR Audio Stand will ensure optimum
performance and an aesthetically appealing system.

Safety Instructions
IMPORTANT WARNINGS!
Do not place any tall objects on the top shelf of the RXR Audio Stand. A tall
object is any object with a height that is greater than the length of the isolation
base. A tall object is also any object that has a height greater than its own width
or length. Tall objects must not be placed on top of the RXR Audio Stand for any
reason. The object may become unstable and tip over causing damage to the
component, adjacent objects, or injury to people.
Never lift or move the RXR Audio Stand with the shelves (Isolation Bases)
installed. You should always move the RXR Audio Stand frame to its final
location prior to loading shelves and components. Moving the RXR Audio Stand
frame with the isolation bases installed (with or without equipment) can
permanently damage the frame system or cause the shelves to fall out of the rack
resulting in potential damage or injury. Always take the time to remove all of the
equipment and shelves to relocate the RXR Audio Stand.
Do not lift the isolation base (shelf) by the inner plate (M3, M3X model) or the
external feet attached to the bottom of the rectangular frame. Always lift or move
the isolation base with the inner plate facing up and the external support feet
facing down (same orientation as when used to support your component).
Always follow these handling instructions to prevent personal injury or damage
to the unit.

Setup Instructions
The RXR Audio Stand consists of a frame structure and isolation bases that
support each component. The components required to assemble the frame are
shipped in one or more boxes. The number of boxes depends on the system size.
Each box containing parts for the frame will be marked with the model number
starting with RXR. All the wrenches required to put the frame together are
included with the shipment.
Work Surface - Prior to unpacking any material, locate a very strong and very
stable work surface (capable of supporting 250 lb. load) or an area on the floor
that will give you a very soft scratch resistant work area that is at least three feet
by three feet in size. The more space you have the better, as it will give you room
to move around the frame to complete assembly. It is important that the area be
free of all dirt, screws or small pebbles, and that it is covered with a clean soft
protective blanket of same size that will prevent damage to high quality finish on
the frame.
Unpacking Assembly Hardware - Remove all the contents from all the boxes
marked with RXR model number. Place all the hardware on a table adjacent to
your selected work surface and remove all the wrapping material. Be careful not
to drop or allow any of the parts to contact each other as they may scratch the
surface. Do not stack the parts on top of each other once they are removed from
the protective packaging material. To make assembly easier, group identical
parts together in an organized manner. Make sure all RXR Primary Supports are
the same size; also check that the RXR Side Rails and RXR Center Rail if needed
are the correct length.
This audio stand will be assembled on its side. Depending on what frame
configuration you have purchased there may be a number of Primary Supports
that have threaded studs already attached. Do not try to remove these threaded
studs as they are attached to the frame. These Primary Supports with threads will
be the bottom of the audio stand.

Step 1. Your stand might be fully assembled. If so, skip to Step 7 and proceed.
To start assembling the RXR Audio Stand, locate one of the RXR Side Rails.
Place it with the side that contains the small threaded holes facing up. Take one
of the RXR Primary Supports without the threaded inserts and place it at the top
of Side Rail. The top of the Side Rail is the end that has a wooden cap on it. At the
top end all you see is wood; at the bottom end you will see two threaded inserts).
(See Picture 1.)
Picture 1.
Put two of the ¼”-20 x 1” button head fastener with one ¼” flat washers on each
of the screws in two holes that are diagonal from each other on the Primary
Support. Carefully with the fasteners sticking out through the support, line them
up with the corresponding holes of the Side Rail. The top Primary Support should
be just about level with the top of the Side Rail. (See Picture 2.) Only place two
fasteners in each side of the Primary Supports during the initial assembly of the
stand, the rest will be added in later.
Picture 2.

Step 2. The Primary Support with threaded inserts will be the bottom of the
stand. (Take notice that each of the Primary Supports has two shallow grooves on
one side, these grooves are to indicate the front of the RXR Audio Stand. As the
stand is assembled every Primary Support should have these grooves facing the
same direction.) Attach the bottom Primary Support just as in Step 1. The Side
Rail will sit about ¼” up from the bottom of the Primary Support. (See Picture 3.)
Picture 3
Step 3. Once the top and bottom Primary Supports are in place, it is time to
place the rest of the Primary Supports that go between them. Picture 4 shows the
stand with the top and bottom Primary Supports attached to the Side Rail.
Picture 4

Their locations will vary depending on the needed space for the components being
used. To get a rough idea of where the Primary Supports should go take the
component space needed and add 4 ¼” to it. The bottom of the Primary Support
should be this distance from the bottom of the support above it. If there isn’t a
threaded hole at the distance needed, simply move it up or down to the next
closest hole based on the space needed for the component. Repeat this step until
all the remaining Primary Supports are in place. (See picture 5)
Picture 5
Step 4. Take the last remaining Side Rail and place it on top of the Primary Supports
with the threaded holes facing down toward the supports and with the end of the rail in
the same orientation as the first rail already attached (See picture 6).
Picture 6.

If building a Double Wide Stand, place the Center Rail on top of the Primary
Supports with the threaded inserts pointing toward the bottom of the stand. (See
Picture 7.)
Picture 7
As in Step 1. Use two of the ¼”-20x 1” button head fastener with a ¼” flat
washer on each of the fasteners and place one of them through the Primary
Support. Carefully move the Side Rail or Center Rail so that the top of the rail
and the support are level with each other. The fastener should easily thread into
the Rail. Again do not fully torque any of the fasteners yet. Place two fasteners in
each Primary Support (see picture 2) diagonally across from each other.
Additionally when building a Double Wide Stand, it is best to turn the first half of
the stand onto its back or front, and then add more Primary Supports, Side or
Center Rails as needed. It is important to keep the orientation of the front of the
Primary Supports in mind while assembling the stand. All the sides with the two
grooves should face the same direction in the stand. (See Picture 8.)

Picture 8
Step 5. Once there are at least two fasteners in each side of all the Primary
Supports go back and place the last two fasteners in each side of the supports. All
of the fasteners should turn in very easily, if for some reason one seems hard to
turn in try moving the Primary Support slightly, this should help the fastener
thread in easily. Never force a threaded fastener on the RXR frame, as you will
strip the bolt plate and cause damage to the unit.
Step 6. Now that all the fasteners are assembled into the frame you can start to
slowly torque down the fasteners by gradually tightening each fastener a little at
a time to keep even pressure on all the threaded connection in the frame. All of
the fasteners will need to be made just snug. Once this is done and starting back
at the first set of fasteners, fully torque each fastener. Each fastener is at full
torque by turning the T-wrench about a half turn after the fastener is snug.

Step 7. Cut a small opening in the top of the oil provided with the RXR Audio
Stand and place a small amount on each of the RXR Threaded Inserts on the
bottom Primary Support. (See Picture 9.)
Picture 9.
Screw on to each of the inserts one RXR Locking Nut and one RXR Point (See
pictures 10 and 11). Once all these parts are on the stand, it is fully assembled.
Do a final check that all the grooves on the Primary Supports are facing the same
direction; the side with grooves is the front of the stand.
