Sicherheitshinweise
WARNUNG HEISSE OBERFLÄCHEN NICHT BERÜHREN
Im Fehlerfall kann es vorkommen, dass der Kühlkörper der UFOcompact
plus®und UFO®compact-Module Temperaturen von über 70° C erreichen.
In diesem Fall schaltet sich die Anlage normalerweise selbstständig ab.
Beim Umgang mit der Anlage unter solchen Bedingungen ist entsprechende
Vorsicht geboten.
Beim Einsatz von UFOcompact plus®-Anlagen in öffentlich zugänglichen Räumen ist die
Anlage mit dem Frontdeckel zu verschließen.

Bedienung
Die Steuerung des Kanalzuges übernimmt das zentrale Steuermodul UFX 800 - die
Kontroll-Schnittstelle für alle in der Basiseinheit eingesetzten Module und Kassetten.
Die Bedienung der eingesetzten UFO®compact-Kassette erfolgt über die graphische
Benutzeroberfläche der Bedien-Software USW 800; deren Online-Hilfe beschreibt auch die
Konfiguration aller UFOcompact plus®-Module inkl. des UFZ 800. Alle weiteren Einstellan-
weisungen entnehmen Sie bitte der Bedienungsanleitung/Online-Hilfe der USW 800.
Hinweis: Die aktuelle Version der USW 800 und ihrer Bedienungsanleitung stehen kosten-
frei auf der Kathrein-Homepage „www.kathrein.de“ zum Download bereit.

WARNUNG HOT SURFACE DO NOT TOUCH
In the case of a fault, it may happen that the heatsink UFOcompact plus®
and UFO®compactmodules reach temperatures of over 70° C. In this case,
the system normally switches off automatically. When handling the system
under such conditions use appropriate care.
When using UFOcompact plus®in publicly accessible spaces, the front cover of the system
must be closed.

1. Plug adapter to the backplane and cable through lower opening upward lead
2. Using the enclosed screws mount and fit the channel strip and screw tightly
3. Connect the cable as shown in figure below

Operation
Controlling the channel strip is done centrally by the control module UFX 800 - The control
interface for all modules and cassette installed in the base unit.
Used to operate the UFO®compact cartridge via the graphical user interface of the control
software USW 800; the online help describes the configuration of all modules, including
UFOcompact plus®the UFZ 800. All other setting instructions, refer to the manual/online
help of the USW 800.
Note: The current version of the USW 800 and its instructions are available free to down-
load on the Kathrein website “www.kathrein.de”.
Electronic equipment is not domestic waste - it must be disposed of properly in
accordance with directive 2002/96/EC OF THE EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT AND THE
COUNCIL dated 27th January 2003 concerning used electrical and electronic appli-
ances. At the end of its service life, take this device for disposal at a designated public
collection point.

Consignes de sécurité
AVERTISSEMENT NE PAS TOUCHER LES SURFACES BRULANTES
En cas d'erreur, il peut arriver que le radiateur de l'UFOcompact plus®et des
modules de l'UFO®compact atteigne des températures supérieures à 70 ºC.
Dans ce cas, l'installation se désactive normalement elle-même.
La prudence est donc de mise pour la manipulation de l’installation dans
de telles conditions.
Obturer les installations UFOcompact plus®par un couvercle avant si elles sont utilisées
dans des locaux accessibles au public.
