HOW TO USE THE DEVICE
Step 1: Charge the Powerboost 1500 Lithium Jump Starter.
ŸThe Powerboost 1500 lithium jump starter comes partialy charged
out of the box and needs to be fully charged prior to first use.
ŸWe recommernd not charging and discharging the unit at the
same time.
ŸThe time to recharge the unit will depend on the power supply
used.
ŸAs a guideline, a PD 60W wall adapter takes approximately 50
minutes to charge from 0 to 80%.
Step 2: Connect to the battery.
ŸConnect the battery clamps to the unit by connecting to the 12V
out port.
ŸConnect the positive (red) battery clamp to the positive (+) battery
terminal.
ŸConnect the negiative (black) battery clamp to the negative (-)
battery terminal or vehicle chassis.
ŸWhen disconnceting, disconnect in the reverse sequence,
removing the negative first .
Step 3: Jump starting
ŸBefore beginning, make sure all the vehicle’s power loads are
turned off before attemtping to jump start the vehicle.
ŸTurn on the power button.
ŸTry starting the vehicle. Most vehicles will immediately start.
Some vehicles may take up to 30 seconds before stargting.
ŸIf the vehicle does not start right away, wait 30 seconds and try
again.
ŸDo not attempt more than three consecutive jump starts within a
15 minute period.
ŸAllow the Powerboost 1500 to rest for 15 minutes before
attempting to jump start the vehicle again.
ŸOnce your have started your vehicle, disconnect the cable clamps
and remove the Powerboost 1500.
