TheK-Syncisacompactsynchronizationsystemdesignedtosupportalltypesof
echosounders,sonarsandotherhydroacousticinstrumentsprovidedwithanexternal
transmissiontriggeroption.TheK-Synccancontrolthetransmissionforupto16
hydroacousticsystems.
TheK-Syncsynchronizationsystemconsistsofthefollowingmaincomponents:

systemsasastand-aloneunit.
TheSynchronizationUnitcanreceivedepthdata
fromanechosounderoranotherexternalsource.
ThisinterfaceisalsomadeusingEthernet,and
anadditionalnetworkswitchisthenrequired.
ThedepthinformationisusedbytheK-Syncto
establishthetriggersequenceforhydroacousticsystemsthatdonotreturnany"ready
totransmit"information.
