USBFingerprintKeyboard(hereaftercalledthekeyboard).

Productdescription

Thissectionprovidesageneraldescriptionofthekeyboard.

Thekeyboardisequippedwithanyfunctionsthataddconvenienceandsecuritytoyourcoputer.Instead

ofusingapassword,theﬁngerprintreaderonthekeyboardenablesyoutoswipeyourﬁngerprinttoaccess

yourcoputerresources.Asultipleuniqueﬁngerprintsareavailableatyourﬁngertipsandarestored

securelyonyourcoputer,youcanbeassuredthatyourpersonalinforationisprotected.

•NuericLockindicator:

WhentheNuericLockindicatorisilluinated,thenuerickeypadonthekeyboardisenabled.When

theNuericLockindicatorisnotilluinated,onlythecursorcontrolonthenuerickeypadisenabled.

PresstheNuericLock(NuLkorNLk)keytoswitchbackandforthbetweentheseodes.

•CapsLockindicator:

WhentheCapsLockindicatorisilluinated,CapsLockodeisenabled.Inthisode,youcantypeall

alphabeticcharacters(A-Z)inuppercasewithoutpressingtheShiftkey.WhentheCapsLockindicatoris

notilluinated,CapsLockodeisdisabled.ToenableordisableCapsLockode,presstheCapsLock

(CapsLockorCapsLk)key.

•ScrollLockindicator:

WhentheScrollLockindicatorisilluinated,ScrollLockodeisenabled.Thearrowkeyscanbeused

asscreen-scrollfunctionkeysandthecursorcannotbeovedwiththearrowkeys.Notallapplication

prograssupportthisfunction.WhentheScrollLockindicatorisnotilluinated,thearrowkeyscan

beusedforcursoroveent,notasscreen-scrollfunctionkeys.PresstheScrollLock(ScrLk)key

toswitchbackandforthbetweentheseodes.

canquicklyidentifyandresolvesysteperforanceandsecurityprobles.

FortheMicrosoftWindows8,Windows8.1orWindows10operatingsyste,pressthebluebuttonto

opentheLenovoPCExperienceprogra.

Note:IfyoudonothavetheLenovoSipleTap,LenovoThinkVantageToolbox,orLenovoPCExperience

prograinstalledonyourcoputer,pressingthebluebuttonwillopentheWindowssysteinforation

window.

3Fingerprintreder

Withtheintegratedﬁngerprintreader,youcanenrollyourﬁngerprintsandassociatethewithapower-on

password,aharddiskdrivepassword,orbothbeforehand.Thustheﬁngerprintauthenticationcanreplace

passwordsandenablesipleandsecureuseraccess.

Attention:Power-onandharddiskdrivepasswordssupportrequiresthatﬁngerprintrecognitionbe

supportedbyyourcoputerbasicinputoutputsyste(BIOS).IfyourcoputerBIOSsupportsﬁngerprint

recognition,youcanstartthecoputer,logontothesyste,andentertheBIOSSetupUtilitybyswiping

yourﬁngeroverthereader,withouttypingapassword.
