SPECIFICATIONS
This High Position Transmission Jack is a removal hydraulic one that has a compact
construction and offers the following advantages: light in weight, long lift range, fast
in lift, the parts of the adaptor that are not welded are replaceable, and it has a
replaceable adaptor which is strong and reliable.
It can be used when assembling and disassembling the removal parts and structural
parts which need to be lifted, descended or transported. It is the ideal tool for
assembling and repairing in motor repair shops or mobile shops.
WARNING!
Ensure all preliminary checks are carefully carried out before use of
Transmission Jack.
WARNING!
Use Transmission Jack on hard, level and smooth surfaces only. Ensure the
oor over which the jack will be transported is swept clean.
DANGER!
DO NOT use on tarmac or any other soft surface as jack may sink or topple.
Serious or fatal injury may result.
DANGER!
If jack tips or leans, STOP WHAT YOUR ARE DOING. MOVE QUICKLY TO A SAFE
DISTANCE. DO NOT TRY TO HOLD OR STEADY JACK. Serious or fatal injury may
result.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
• Use Transmission Jack in an adequate working area for its function. Keep area
clean and tidy and free from unrelated materials. Ensure there is adequate
lighting.
• Before use, ensure the gearbox weight and size do not exceed the capacity
of the Transmission Jack
• Ensure the vehicle is raised and stabilised at the correct height before
attempting to move the Transmission Jack
• Keep all unauthorized persons away from the Transmission Jack during lifting
and lowering and when in transit.
• Maintain correct balance and footing. Ensure the oor is not slippery and wear
non-slip shoes.

WARNING!
Ensure load is level and centred on jack saddle and load is xed in place
before attempting to lift, lower or transport.
WARNING!
DO NOT operate Transmission Jack if any parts are damaged or missing.

• DO NOT exceed the rated capacity of the Transmission Jack.
• DO NOT allow untrained persons to operate the Transmission Jack.
• DO NOT place any part of your body within or under the Transmission Jack
during use.
• DO NOT raise or lower vehicle lifting platform while the Transmission Jack
is being used.
• DO NOT get Transmission Jack wet or use in damp or wet locations or
areas where there is condensation.
• DO NOT operate Transmission Jack when you are tired, under the inuence
of alcohol, drugs or intoxicating medication.
• DO NOT lift or support vehicles with Transmission Jack and do not use as
a load sustaining device.
• DO NOT use Transmission Jack for any purpose other than removal,
transportation or installation of transmissions.
• DO NOT move Transmission Jack without suitable restraint on the load.
• DO NOT make any modications to the Transmission Jack, and DO NOT
adjust or tamper with safety valve.
• Before storing in safe area, ensure all parts are clean, free of grease and
oil (especially saddle).
• Lower saddle to the lowest position.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Put the bracket seat assembly (1) upright,
then align the holes of foot base (2) with the
holes on the column (1), use the screws (3),
at washer (4), lock washer (5) and nuts (6)
to x and tighten it. (Fig. A)

Put the pump assembly (13) upright on the
bracket seat assembly (1), use the bolts (11),
at washers (4) and nuts (6) to x and tighten
it. (Fig. C)

Put the caster (7) into the hole as shown on
diagram, use the at washer (8), lock washer
(9) and nut (10) to x and tighten it, ensuring
the caster’s mobility. Repeat for each caster.

Put the bracket plate assembly (14) on the piston
rod and x it by using the bolt (18). Then put the
slide (28) on the bracket plate assembly (14) as
shown on diagram, and x it by using the bolt
(19), at washer (4) and nut (6). Then tighten the
safety block (23) on the slide (28) by using the
bolt (19), at washer (4) and nut (6). Screw on
and tighten the circular bolt (22), at washer (4)
and nut (6) to safety block (23). Then put the
chain hook (24) through the chain hook seat (25)
as shown on diagram, and lock it with the at
washer (26) and wing nut (27). Insert the other
end in D shackle (21) and lock it, hang one end
of the chain (20) on the chain hook (24),

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING!
Before use, ensure you have read and understood safety instructions, and apply them
during use.
WARNING!
Ensure you prepare vehicle correctly before attempting to use the Transmission Jack.
WARNING!
Ensure the load is centred and stable on the jack saddle and load is xed in place before
attempting to lift, lower or transport.
IMPORTANT:
The unit is tted with a "Dead Man" release valve. The quicker the valve knob is turned, the
more rapid the jack’s descent.

BEFORE USE: Air may become trapped in the hydraulic system during transit.
TO PURGE AIR:
• Open release valve by turning handle counter clockwise
• Pump handle rapidly 4 full strokes. This will expel air that may have entered oil
passages during transit.
• Close release valve by rotating handle clockwise and pump handle.
• If the lift arm is raised, jack is ready for use. If not, repeat this procedure.
IMPORTANT: Before attempting to raise any vehicle, check vehicle service manual
for recommended lifting surfaces.
POSITIONING TRANSMISSION JACK BENEATH LOAD.
Before use, ensure the transmission weight and size do not exceed the capacity
of the jack.
LOWERING THE LOAD.
SLOWLY turn the release valve knob counterclockwise to GENTLY lower saddle to
the lowest height before attempting to transport load.
TRANSPORTING THE LOAD.
Make sure the saddle is at the lowest height and that the load will not slip.
Transport on a level, non-sloping surface at a slow and constant speed.
