– TO REDUCE THE RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK:
• Always unplug the massage cushion from the cigarette lighter, when not in use and before cleaning.
• DO NOT reach for a massage cushion that has fallen into water. Unplug it immediately.
• NEVER use pins or other metallic fasteners with this cushion
• Carefully examine the covering before each use. Discard the massage cushion if covering or power/
control cords show any sign of deterioration, such as blistering or cracking.

• The massage cushion should NEVER be left unattended when plugged in. Unplug from cigarette
lighter when not in use.
• Close supervision is necessary when this cushion is used by, on or near children or disabled
persons.
• Use this cushion only for its intended use as described in this manual.
• DO NOT use attachments not recommended by ObusForme; specifically, any attachments not
provided with the unit.
• NEVER operate this appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly, if it has
been dropped or damaged, or if it has been dropped into water. Return it to ObusForme Service
Center for examination and repair.
• Use heated surfaces carefully. May cause serious burns. DO NOT use on insensitive skin areas or
in the presence of poor circulation. The unattended use of heat by children or incapacitated persons
may be dangerous.

• NEVER drop or insert any object into any opening.
• DO NOT operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen
is being administered.
• DO NOT operate under a blanket or pillow. Excessive heating can occur and cause fire,
electrocution or injury to persons.
• DO NOT carry this appliance by power/remote control cords or use the cord as a handle.
• To disconnect, push the massage/heat buttons to the “off” position, then remove adaptor
plug from outlet.
• This appliance is designed for personal, non-professional use only.
• DO NOT use outdoors.

• This product is not intended for medical use. It is intended only to provide a soothing
massage.

• NEVER cover the appliance when it is in operation.

• Extensive use could lead to the product’s excessive heating and shorter life. Should this
occur, discontinue use and allow the unit to cool before operating.
• NEVER use this product directly on swollen or inflamed areas or skin eruptions.
• DO NOT use this product as a substitute for medical attention.
• DO NOT use this product before bed. The massage has a stimulating effect
and can delay sleep.

• This product should NEVER be used by any individual suffering from any
physical ailment that would limit the user’s capacity to operate the controls or
who has sensory deficiencies in the lower half of their body.
• This unit should not be used by children or invalids without adult supervision.

Instructions for Use
Preparation:
For Use in Your Car
1. Plug the 12 volt car adaptor into a 12V DC outlet and plug the receptacle
end into the massage cushion’s input jack, located along the side of the
cushion
2. Slip the back cushion straps over your automobile’s seat back
Use:
To Use the Massage Functions:
1. There are two separate massage areas in this cushion. For massage in
the Upper Back zone, slide the top Upper Back switch up to either Low or
High massage intensity positions. For massage in the Lower Back zone,
slide the middle Lower Back switch up to either Low or High massage
intensity positions.
2. To turn off the Massage function, slide both Upper Back and Lower Back
switches down to the Off position.

To Use the Heat Function:
1. To operate the Heat function, slide the bottom Heat switch right, to the On
position. Note: It will take a few minutes before the Heat function reaches its
maximum operating temperature.
2. To turn off the Heat function, slide the Heat switch left, to the Off position.
To Remove the Gel Comfort Seat Cushion:
The Gel Comfort Seat cushion can be simply unzipped from the backrest
for use anywhere.
Safety Devices
Temperature-Regulating Thermostat
This massage cushion is designed with an internal thermostat that regulates the
temperature of the heat function of this cushion. The cushion will automatically
shut off when the temperature reaches its maximum heat level and reactivate once
the temperature lowers.
Protective Thermostat
This unit is equipped with a protective thermostat that will shut off the heating
element if it overheats. If you suspect that your unit has overheated, unplug the
unit and let it cool for 30 minutes before plugging it in again and continuing use.

Maintenance
To Store
Place the Remote Control and its cable in the protective pocket at the side of the cushion.
Place the massage cushion in its box or in a safe, dry, cool place. Avoid contact with sharp
edges or pointed objects which might cut or puncture the fabric surface. To avoid breakage,
do not wrap the power cord around the unit.
To Clean
Unplug the unit and allow it to cool before cleaning. Wipe the fabric cover with a damp cloth
or sponge and a mild detergent. To dry, pat with a clean, dry cloth. Never allow water or any
other liquids to come into contact with the unit.
• DO NOT immerse in any liquid to clean.
• DO NOT rub the seat cushion excessively.
• NEVER use abrasive cleaners, brushes, gasoline, kerosene, glass / furniture polish or paint
thinner to clean.
• DO NOT plug the car adapter into any power source until your massage cushion is
completely dry.
• DO NOT attempt to repair the massage cushion. There are no user serviceable parts.

About Massage
There are three main types of electro-mechanical massage – Shiatsu, Percussion and Vibration.
Shiatsu Massage uses deep-kneading rotating massage nodes and provides the most intense
massage. However, Shiatsu massage cushions are too thick for most automotive applications and have
the potential to be a major distraction if used while driving a vehicle.
Percussion Massage requires pinpoint accuracy, and is limited to handheld applications.
This massage cushion uses Vibration Massage, which has proven to be the optimal technology
for driving, and for many home/office applications, with both thinner cushion thicknesses and more
moderate levels of massage intensity than Shiatsu cushions.
Power Adaptor
This massage cushion is powered by a 12 volt DC automotive adapter
(cigarette lighter plug-in style), included with this unit.
Massage Controls
For massage in the Upper Back zone, slide the top Upper Back switch
up to either Low or High massage intensity positions. For massage in
the Lower Back zone, slide the middle Lower Back switch up to either
Low or High massage intensity positions. Both zones can operate at
the same time.
Varying the massage speeds and zones while the massage function is
in use can help to keep your muscles from becoming overstimulated.
To turn off the Massage function, slide both Upper Back and Lower
Back switches down to their Off positions.
Heat
Comforting seat cushion heat is activated by sliding the Heat switch
right to the “On” position. NOTE: It may take some time for the Heat
function to reach its maximum operating temperature.
To turn the Heat function off, slide the Heat switch left to the Heat
function off.

3-Way Use:
A. Complete seating system. The complete automotive massage/heat
cushion can be used in any car, SUV or truck.
B. Back Massage/ Heat Cushion. By using the middle zipper to detach the
back from the seat portion of this product, the soothing back massage/
heat cushion can be used independently in any automotive environment
C. Gel Comfort Seat. The portable honeycomb gel seat cushion can be
carried anywhere for lightweight, comfortable support. NOTE; The gel
seat cushion should not be submersed or soaked in water; this cushion is
designed for indoor/automotive use only

& materials for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase.
This guarantee applies when the product is used for the purpose intended.
In the advent of a defect as described above, please return this product to
ObusForme for refund or replacement. This warranty gives you rights that vary
by province/state. This warranty may change.
What is NOT covered
Wear & tear, aging (including foam discoloration, flattening, density,
consistency), accidental damages, alterations, mishandling, faulty adjustment,
misuse, improper care, power damage, rental use, discontinued items, service
by anyone other than ObusForme, shipping damages, neglect, items sold ‘as is’
or damage due to natural acts are NOT covered.
