Ringtone Your phone will ring when receiving a call.

All your incoming voice calls are being

forwarded to a number.

Headset The headset is plugged into the phone.

Alarm The alarm clock is activated.

Roaming Displayed when your phone is registered to a

network other than your own (especially when

you are abroad).

zone

A zone designated by your network operator.

Contact your service provider for details.

GSM

network

Your phone is connected to a GSM network.

The more bars are shown the better the

reception is.

Key lock The keypad has been locked.

Memory

card

The memory card is in use.

Auto

Power

Auto power function is enabled.

Flight

Mode

Flight mode is activated.

Getting started

Insert SIM card and Charge the battery

Learn about installing SIM card and charging the battery for the first use.

Insert SIM card

Remove the back cover.

Take out the battery.

Insert the SIM 1/SIM 2 card.

Install the battery.

Replace the back cover.

Charge the battery

A new battery is partially charged. The battery icon in the upper-right

corner shows the battery level of charging status.

Insert a Micro SD card (Memory card)

Tips:

•

You can use the phone while it is charging.

•

Keeping the charger plugged to the mobile

phone when the battery is fully charged will

not damage the battery. The only way to

turn off the charger is to unplug it, so it is

advisable to use an easily accessible power

socket.

•

If you do not intend to use your phone for

several days, we recommend that you

remove the battery.

•

If a fully charged battery left unused, it will

lost its charge over time.

•

If a battery is being used for the first time or

the battery has not been used for a

prolonged period, it may take longer time to

recharge.

You can expand the memory of your

phone by adding a micro-SD card.

Unlock the memory card cover.

Align your micro-SD card with the

slot. Put it in place.

Press down the card holder and

pull it until it is locked.

Using your phone

Use basic call functions

Make a call

Enter the phone number.

Press (and select SIM1 or SIM2 to dial the number.

Press )to hang up.

Tips:

•

For international calls, long press 0to enter the "+" sign for the international

prefix.

•

To dial the number by using SIM 2, press LOptions, select Call (SIM2 voice call).

Answer and end a call

Press (to answer the call, press the navigation key +or -to adjust

the volume).

Press right soft key to select handsfree mode during a call.

Press )to hang up.

Tips:

•

You can use the supplied headset to answer or end a call.

Use speed dial

On the home screen, you can call a number by long pressing a numeric

key to choose a speed dial number and select SIM1 or SIM2 to call out.

To assign a contact to a speed-dial key:

Select Menu > Contacts > Phonebook settings > Speed dial.

Select Status to set speed dial On.

Select Set numbers to add numbers from phonebook.

Make an emergency call

Without a SIM card in phone, you can press numeric keys to make the

emergency call. In Europe, the standard emergency number is 112; in the

UK, it is 999.

Receive and send messages

You can use the Messaging menu to send text message.

Select Messaging> Write message.

Select Text message or Multimedia message, write your message.

Press LOptions>Send to to send the message.

Enter text

Your mobile phone supports a number of text entry methods, including

English input, numeric input and symbol input.

Depending on the language you select for your phone, the supported input methods

0 Insert a space.

L(Right) Delete the previous character.

L(Left) Select the character on the screen.

OSelect or confirm a character.

Introduction of input methods:

Manage your phonebook

Learn about basic phonebook function.

Add a new contact

Go to Contacts, select Add new contact.

Select a location. (To SIM1/To SIM2/To phone).

Enter the number, and add details as desired.

Press LOptions to finish saving.

Search for a contact

Go to Contacts.

Enter the first few letters of the name in the search bar.

Select the contact from the list.

Manage your contacts

You can copy or move contacts between the SIM card and phone, or

delete contacts. Go to Contacts, press + or - to select the desired

option.

Input method Function

English input Press the keys that are marked with the letter you

wish to enter. Press once to get the first letter on

the key, press twice quickly to get the second letter

and so on until the letter you want is displayed on

the screen.

Smart English

input

You need to press only once on the key

corresponding to each letter needed to spell a word:

keystrokes input are analyzed and the word

suggested by input method is displayed at the pop-

up window.

Numeric input Press the numeric key to enter a number.

MultiMedia

Audio player

Save MP3 music files to your Micro SD card and then insert the card to

your phone.

Play music

Go to Entertainment>Multimedia>Audio player, go to list to

select your desired song in the folder.

To refresh the list, press LOptions>refresh list.

Press LOptions>Play to start playing.

Using the following keys to control playback:

Player settings

Go to Audio player>Options>Settings:

•

Pre. playlist : Play audio files from your phone or memory card.

•

List auto gen. : Generate playlist automatically.

•

Repeat : Repeat One (Play current file repeatedly); Repeat All

(Play all the files in the folder repeatedly).

•

Shuffle: Play music files in the folder randomly.

•

Background play : Continue to play music after exiting the audio

player.

•

Bluetooth settings : Switch on/off Bluetooth stereo output.

Function Definition

PPause and resume playback.

QSelect previous track.

NSelect next track.

Press the navigation key +or - to adjust volume.

L(Right) Return to the previous menu.

)Go to the home screen.

Press LBack or )to turn off the audio player.

Note:

When listening to music, adjust the volume to a moderate level. Continuous exposure

to high volume may impair your hearing.

FM radio

Learn about listening to radio programs by using a FM radio.

Listen to a radio station

Plug the supplied headset into your phone.

Go to Multimedia>FM radio, press LOptions>Auto search. It

starts scanning automatically and save the available channels.

Press the navigation key <or >to adjust the frequency.

Press +or -to adjust the volume.

Press LBack or )to turn off FM radio.

FM radio settings

Go to LOptions>Settings :

Background play: Continue playback after exiting FM radio.

•

loudspeaker: Listen to radio through the speaker.

Video recorder

You can record your video and save the file to your phone or SD card.

Record video

Go to Multimedia>Video recorder.

press Oto start recording the video.

Press LStop to stop recording and save the file.

Camera

Learn about camera function. Let you take photos as desired by using

your phone.
