adapter supplied when charging.
- Do not use the appliance, the attachment or the
adapter if it is damaged or broken to avoid injuries.
- If the adapter is damaged, always have it replaced

plug, as this causes a hazardous situation.
- Fully charge the appliance at least every 3 months to

General
- Regular cleaning of the appliance ensures optimal
results and a longer life of the appliance.
- Do not use when sleeping or drowsy.
Contraindications and other warnings
- Do not apply this device directly to your ear as this
may cause temporary hearing loss.
- Do not use this device if you have any ear problems
(Swimmer’s ear, ear infection, any anomaly).
- Do not use the appliance on chapped skin, open
wounds, or if you suffer from skin diseases or skin
irritations, such as severe acne, sunburn, skin infection,
etc.
- Do not use this device if you have a pacemaker,
implanted device, or have a metal prosthesis.
- Do not use the appliance on the sensitive skin area
around the eyes, as it is thin and delicate.
- Do not use the appliance on any mucosal area
(e.g. inside nose, mouth, genital area) as it may cause
local irritation.
Electromagnetic elds (EMF)
This Philips appliance complies with all applicable standards and regulations regarding exposure to
electromagnetic elds.
Environment
Do not throw away the appliance with the normal household waste at the end of its
life, but hand it in at an ofcial collection point for recycling. By doing this, you help to

Introduction
Do you often feel that skincare products can not penetrate well into the skin and stay on the

The new Philips VisaBoost Absorption Booster Device introduces a unique innovative ultrasound
technology working together with vibrating massage which encourages better absorption of
skincare products in the deep layer of the skin.
The technology has been especially designed to help skincare products be better absorbed into
the deep layer of skin, where they can achieve maximum effect for the appearance of healthy,
moist, dewy skin today and tomorrow.
The ultrasound waves instantly dissolve skincare products into micro-molecules which are
more easily transported into your skin’s epidermis. It can stimulate your skin’s metabolism and
encourages natural cell renewal process. Combined with vibration, it gently massages the skin and
stimulates micro-circulation, which further boosts absorption of skincare products and delivers a
healthy glow continuously.
The device is innovated to complement your current skincare routine. It is recommended to
use after applying a serum, lotion or cream. Before application, please clean and gently dry your
face until it is completely dry; during application, please apply your regular skincare products on

Preparing for use
Charging the appliance
Note: Make sure the appliance is fully charged before you use
it for the rst time.
Charging the appliance takes approximately 2hours. A fully
charged appliance has a cordless operating time of up to 20
minutes.
1 Make sure the appliance is switched off.
2Insert the small plug in the socket of the charging stand,
and put the adapter in the socket.
3Put the appliance in the charging stand.
The charging indicator lights blue when charging.When
the battery is fully charged, the indicator goes out.
Note: You can use the appliance before the battery is fully
charged, but its performance and operating time will not be
optimal in this case.
Cleansing your face
1Cleanse your face with a suitable facial cleanser. Make
sure all dirt and makup are removed.
2 Rinse your face and pat it dry gently with a clean towel.
Using the appliance
We suggest to use this appliance three times per week for best
results.
Notes:
• Do not put the dry probe on your face when the
appliance is on, as it may irritate your skin.
• Make sure to take off the protection cap before applying
serum, gel or cream onto the probe.
1Moisten the probe with one or two drops of your usual
serum, cream or gel. Evenly distribute the drops with the
help of your ngertips.

2Apply a few drops of your serum, cream or gel around
your face as shown, and gently tap it into your skin with
the help of your ngertips.
Tips:
• For optimal results, do not use oil based skincare products.
3Press the on/off button once to switch on the appliance.
4Put the probe on your face. Make sure it is fully contact
ing your face. Gently move the appliance from your chin
all the way up to your ears. This motion should take
about 5 seconds.To emphasize the result, repeat this
step 2-3 times on each side of your cheek.
(Refer to “Quick Treatment” and “Emphasized
Treatment” in inner leaet)
• Tip:To treat the areas where full skin contact is hard to achieve,
such as the corner on either side of your nose, you can try
different ways of holding the appliance for instance, vertical
and horizontal ways, or with the help of the other hand to
stretch and hold the skin to be treated.You can apply this
method to your chin and forehead areas.
Notes:
• Do not treat any zone longer than 3 minutes (Refer to
the zone separation a b c as shown).
• It is normal for the probe to feel warmer during use due
to continuous vibration.
5To treat your forehead, make overlapping circular
movements with either inwards or outwards directions.
