1Install

1Insert the CD supplied with your product into the CD ROM drive of your PC.

2Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation of Windows Media

Player 10 and Philips Device Manager.

Connect and charge

Your player will be charged while connected to your computer via the USB connection.

1Connect the player to your computer using the supplied USB cable.

> You will see the charging animation in the top right corner of your player’s display.

The player is fully charged when the charging animation stops and the above icon is displayed.

1Connect the player to your computer using the supplied USB cable.

2Start Windows Media Player 10.

3Choose Manual in Device Setup Wizard screen. (you can also do an automatic

synchronization, refer to user manual on the CD for instructions).

4Select Sync tab. In the pull down menu on the right pane, select Philips or Philips

GoGear as the destination. If they are not in the list , press F5 to refresh and try

again.

5Select the Library tab to access the media library.

Click to highlight a song you want to copy. Right click on the item and select

Add to > Sync List.

Drag and drop the song into the Sync List on the right pane.

6Click the Start Sync button to start synchronization. The progress will be displayed.

7When the transfer is finished, you can disconnect your player from the computer.

Photo transfer

Remember to install Philips Device Plug-in for Windows Media Player (can be

found in the supplied CD ROM) in your computer before transferring photos.

1Connect the player to your computer.

2Start Windows Media Player 10.

3Select Sync tab.

4In the pull-down menu on the right pane, select Philips or Philips GoGear as the

destination.

5Select the Library tab to access the media library.

6Click All Pictures on the left pane to display the list of photos.

7Click to highlight the photo you want to copy to your player.

8Drag and drop the photo into the Sync List on the right pane.

9Click Start Sync button at the bottom of the screen to start synchronization.

> The progress will be displayed just above the Start Sync button.
