With VisaPure Advanced you will enjoy a range of benefits to reveal a

radiant, revitalized and refreshed skin. Thanks to Intelligent Head

Recognition, the appliance recognizes which head you put on and

automatically activates a customized DualMotion program, with

dedicated levels of rotation and vibration. This means you get great

skincare results! VisaPure Advanced comes with a diverse set of

heads that can be easily integrated into your skincare routine. You

can use all heads with your current skincare products like cleansers,

creams, oils and serums. This user manual contains information about

how to use the product and how to cleanse your skin with it.

Why cleansing?

Cleansing is an essential part of the daily skincare routine. VisaPure

Advanced cleanses your skin 10 times better compared to cleansing

by hand*. It cleanses your skin thoroughly and removes dead skin

cells and make-up. Your skincare products will be absorbed better

after you have used VisaPure Advanced. Therefore your skin feels

clean and soft.

Important safety information

Read this important information carefully before you use the

appliance and save it for future reference.

Danger

- Keep the adapter dry (Fig. 2).

Warning

- To charge the battery, only use the detachable supply unit

(SSW-2028/SSW-2600) provided with the appliance (Fig. 3).

- The adapter contains a transformer. Do not cut off the adapter to

replace it with another plug, as this causes a hazardous situation.

- Fully charge the appliance at least every 3 months to sustain

battery lifetime.

- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including

children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or

lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given

supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a

person responsible for their safety.

- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with

the appliance.

- Do not insert metal-containing material into the socket for the

small plug to avoid short circuiting.

- Always check the appliance before you use it. Do not use the

appliance, the attachments or the supply unit if it is damaged, as

this may cause injury. Always replace a damaged part with one of

the original type.

- Do not use the appliance on chapped skin, open wounds, healing

wounds, skin recovering from surgery or if you suffer from a skin

disease or skin irritation, such as severe acne, sunburn, skin

infection, skin cancer, inflammation, eczema, psoriasis etc.

- Do not use the appliance if you are taking steroid-based

medication.

- Do not use the Fresh Eyes head and Fresh Skin head if you have

glaucoma, an eye injury, or have had eye surgery within the last 12

months.

- Do not use the Fresh Eyes head and Fresh Skin head if you have

an allergy to aluminum.

- Do not put any of the attachments in the freezer, as this may

cause a hazardous situation for your skin.

- Use a hairband or hair clips to avoid your hair getting caught in the

rotating parts.

Caution

- Only use VisaPure attachments from Philips as described in this

user manual.

- For hygienic reasons, we advise you to not share the appliance

and the heads with other people.

- Do not clean the appliance with water that is hotter than shower

temperature (max. 40°C/104°F).

- Do not put the appliance or any part in the dishwasher.

- Charge, use and store the appliance at a temperature between

10°C/50°F and 40°C/104°F.

- If you wear piercings on your face, remove the piercings before

you use the appliance or make sure that you do not use the

appliance on or near the piercing.

- If you wear jewelry or glasses, take them off before you use the

appliance, or make sure that you do not use the appliance on or

near jewelry or glasses.

- Do not use the appliance with self-made cleansers, creams, oils or

cosmetic products containing harsh chemicals or rough particles.

- If you have sensitive skin or experience skin irritation after using

the appliance with the normal brush head, we advise you to switch

to the sensitive brush head.

- VisaPure cleanses your skin deeply and stimulates blood

circulation. If your skin is used to the treatment, you may

experience slight skin reactions like redness or skin tightness on

occasion. If your skin is not used to the treatment, these reactions

may be stronger and can last longer, but should disappear after

some hours. To reduce these skin reactions, you can shorten the

treatment time, reduce the treatment frequency and/or apply less

pressure on the skin during treatment.

After 2 weeks of daily usage, your skin should have adapted to

treatment with VisaPure. However, if you still experience strong

skin reactions after 2 weeks of daily usage, we advise you to stop

using VisaPure and give your skin some time to recover. You can

continue your treatment once the skin reactions have

disappeared, using reduced treatment time and frequency. If the

strong skin reactions reoccur, we advise you to contact your

doctor.

- The Fresh Eyes head is intended for use on the bony area below

the eye. Do not place the Fresh Eyes head on the eyeball or on the

eyelid.

- The Fresh Skin attachment is intended for use on the cheeks and

the forehead area. Do not place the Fresh Skin attachment on the

eyeball, the eyelid or close to the eyes.

- The Revitalising Massage head is intended to massage the cheeks.

- Do not use any of the attachments if they are damaged or broken

to avoid injuries.

- The Precision brush head is intended to cleanse hard-to-reach

areas, only around the nose and mouth.

- Do not use the Precision brush head around the eyes.

- Do not use the Precision brush head on the lips, on or inside the

ears, or inside the nose.

- Only treat the nose area with the Precision brush head once per

treatment. If you use the Precision Brush, do not cleanse your nose

with one of the regular brush heads beforehand.

- Do not use the Precision brush head on dry skin or on open

wounds.

General

- Please note that the condition of the skin varies throughout the

year. Facial skin can get dryer during the winter season. In that

case you can reduce the treatment time or frequency, depending

on the needs of your skin.

- Regular cleaning of the appliance ensures optimal results and a

longer life of the appliance.

- The appliance complies with the internationally approved IEC

safety regulations and can be safely used in the bath or shower

and cleaned under the tap.

- The appliance is equipped with an automatic voltage selector and

is suitable for mains voltages ranging from 100 to 240 volts.

Electromagnetic fields (EMF)

This Philips appliance complies with all applicable standards and

regulations regarding exposure to electromagnetic fields.

Preparing for use

Charging the appliance

Note: Charge the appliance before you use it.

Charging the appliance for the first time takes approximately 6 hours.

A fully charged appliance can be used for at least 1 week without

charging, according to the recommended usage per specific

attachment.

1Make sure the appliance is switched off.

2Insert the small plug into the socket of the charging stand (Fig. 4).

Put the adapter in the wall socket.

3Remove the protection cap (Fig. 5).
