Il 6/831 fornisce dati GPS relativi alle
coordinate di posizione, a dispositivi
che possano gestirli per la navigazio-
ne satellitare.
Permette di eliminare qualunque con-
nessione via cavo utilizzando la tec-
nologia senza fili Bluetooth.
Il sistema intelligente di controllo ener-
getico permette una durata della car-
ica della batteria al litio fino a 13 ore
di utilizzo continuo o di oltre una set-
timana in stand-by.
Il 6/831 è utilizzabile con qualsiasi
dispositivo con tecnologia Bluetooth
in un range operativo fino a 10 metri.
The 6/831 supplies the GPS-data,
regarding the position co-ordinates,
to the devices capable of elaborating
them for satellite-navigation purpos-
es.
The 6/831 allows to eliminate any
cable-connection, by means of the
wireless Bluetooth-technology.
The 6/831 has an intelligent energy-
saving system, so that the Lithium-
battery can last up to 13 hours at con-
tinuous duty or one week in stand-by.
The 6/831 can be used in connection
with any appliance fitted with
Bluetooth-technology and will work at
a maximum distance of 10 metres.

Der Empfänger 6/831 sammelt die
GPS-Koordinate und leitet sie weiter
an Geräte, die für die Satelliten-
Navigation ausgerichtet sind.
Durch den Empfänger 6/831, der nach
der kabellosen Bluetooth-Technologie
funktioniert, erübrigen sich sämtliche
Kabelanschlüsse.
Der Art. 6/831 operiert nach einem
Energie-sparenden Intelligenz-
System, wodurch die Litium-Batterie
volle 13 Stunden Dauerbetrieb leistet
bzw. 1 Woche im Warte-Zustand
(Stand-by).
Der Empfänger 6/831 passt zu jedem
Gerät, das mit der Bluetooth-
Technologie ausgestattet ist, und wirkt
in einem Umfeld von 10 Metern.

Per accendere tenere premuto fino a quando il LED 2 diventa VERDE e il LED 4
diventa BLU.
Per spegnere tenere premuto fino a quando tutti i LED si spengono.

5-Connettore alimentazione
Per ricaricare la batteria al litio. Utilizzare esclusivamente l’alimentatore o il cavo accendisigari in dotazione.
Carica della batteria.
La prima carica della batteria deve essere effettuata per almeno 8 ore.
Il LED 3 si spegnerà automaticamente dopo le prime 3 ore, ma non rimuovere l’alimentazione per altre 5 ore durante la prima carica della
batteria al litio.
Le successive cariche si completeranno entro le 4 ore.
Si raccomanda di togliere la batteria dal dispositivo se inutilizzato per oltre 2 settimane.
In caso di utilizzo come localizzatore o tracking di veicoli è necessario effettuare prima il fixing del GPS e dopo il rilevamento della posizione.
Il segnale GPS sarà ottimale solo a cielo aperto, consigliamo quindi il posizionamento del 6/831 al di sotto del parabrezza del veicolo.
Carica della batteria – Effettuare la carica della batteria tramite l’alimentatore o il cavo accendisigari in dotazione. E’ possibile ricaricare il
dispositivo anche da una presa USB di un PC/Notebook.
Accensione.
Premere il tasto ON/OFF fino a quando non si accendono i led 2 e 4. Se il livello della batteria è sufficiente sia la luce blu che quella verde
rimarranno accese fisse e l’accensione sarà completata. E’ necessario un intervallo minimo di 1 secondo tra accensione e spegnimento.
Questo significa che se viene spento e immediatamente riacceso il dispositivo non si accende. In questo caso rilasciare il tasto, attendere
almeno un secondo e ripetere l’accensione.
Accoppiamento con dispositivo Bluetooth
• Attenersi al manuale di istruzioni del dispositivo(telefono cellulare, PDA, etc) per effettuare la procedura di accoppiamento.
Effettuare la ricerca di ACCESSORI BLUETOOTH dal dispositivo
• Selezionare dalla lista dei dispositivi rilevati BTGPS ed attivare la connessione.
• Immettere quando richiesto il PIN 0000
Se il dispositivo lo richiede, permettere al 6/831 di accoppiarsi automaticamente, in questo modo non sarà necessario ripetere la con-
nessione manualmente.
Alcuni software di navigazione non permettono la riconnessione automatica, sarà quindi necessario effettuarla manualmente.
Funzionamento.
• Posizionare il 6/831 sul cruscotto in modo che il tasto ON/OFF ed i LED siano rivolti verso il parabrezza del veicolo. Una volta effettuata
l’accensione il dispositivo ricercherà il segnale GPS e di conseguenza tutti i satelliti disponibili. Per poter iniziare la navigazione su qual-
siasi dispositivo è necessario che il GPS rilevi la posizione iniziale (fixing). Ad ogni accensioni i tempi di fixing possono variare secondo
la temperatura.
• In determinate condizioni ambientali, come ad esempio una galleria, su strade cittadine oppure in mezzo ad edifici molto alti, il segnale
GPS potrebbe essere più debole o addirittura non presente.
ATTIVAZIONE
Quando il LED di stato della batteria (led 3) lampeggia di colore ROSSO con frequenza di 1 secondo circa, è buona norma
mettere sotto carica il 6/831, in quanto potrebbe non funzionare correttamente.
Per un minor consumo della batteria se la connessione Bluetooth è interrotta per 10 minuti il dispositivo si spegnerà auto-
maticamente.
Non sottoporre il dispositivo a temperature troppo elevate.
Utilizzare esclusivamente i cavi originali per la carica della batteria.

To recharge the Lithium-battery, exclusively use the supplied charger or cigar-lighting cable.

Battery-Recharging
The very first battery recharging has to be done for a period of at least 8 hours: after the first 3 hours, LED 3 will switch-off but the
current-supply needs to go on for another 5 hours.
All subsequent battery-rechanging operations will be completed within 4 hours.
We recommend to take out the battery whenever the device remains idle for more than 2 weeks.
When the 6/831 is used to localize or trace a vehicle, it is necessary to effect the GPS-fixing before starting to reveal the position.
The best GPS-signal is obtained under the open sky, so that the 6/831 should possibly be placed behind the windscreen.
Effect the battery recharging by means of the supplied re-charger or cigar-lighter. It is possible to re-charge the device also
through a PC/Notebook USB-pin.
Switch-On
Press key ON/OFF until the LEDs 2 and 4 switch-on.
If the battery-charge-level is sufficient, the blue and green lights will remain permanently lighted and the switch-on-process will
be completed.
A pause of 1 second is required between the switch-on and the switch-off. In other words, if switch-off has taken place and switch-
on is made immediately (by pressing On/Off), the device will NOT switch-on. In such case, release the ON/OFF-key, wait for at
least 1 second, then repeat the switch-on operation.
Coupling with a Bluetooth-device
- Effect the coupling-procedure by carefully following the Instructions Manual of the involved manufacturer (of handy, PDA or else).
- Effect the research for BLUETOOTH ACCESSORIES from the device.
- Select BT-GPS from the list of the involved devices, and activate the connection.
- On request, insert the PIN-number 0000.
Allow the 6/831 to connect automatically, if requested by the device. This way, it will not be necessary to repeatedly research and
activate the Bluetooth-connection.
Some navigation-softwares do not allow an automatic re-connection, so that re-connection has to be made manually.
Functioning
Position the 6/830 on the dashboard, with ON/OFF-key and LED-indicators looking towards the windscreen. After the switch-on,
the device will look for the GPS-signal and, consequently, also for all available satellites.
To be able to start navigation on whichever device, it is necessary that the GPS reveals the starting position (fixing). The reveal-
ing-time for the Fixing-position can change from one switch-on to another, in relation with the temperature.
Under certain environmental conditions (example, under a tunnel, on city-streets, among very high buildings), the GPS-signal
might be weaker than normal or even disappear.
ACTIVATION
When the battery-condition-LED (LED 3) is RED and blinking, at intervals of about 1 second, it is advisable to re-charge
the 6/831, in order to maintain its full functions.
To reduce battery consumption, the GPS-function automatically de-activates when the Bluetooth-connection remains
interrupted for more than 10 minutes.
Do not expose the 6/831 to extremely elevated temperatures.
To re-charge battery, use Original cables only.

1 - Touche ON / OFF, pour allumer et éteindre.
Pour allumer, presser la touche le temps nécessaire pour que le LED 2 tourne VERT et
le LED 4 tourne BLEU. Pour éteindre, presser la touche le temps nécessaire pour que
tous les LEDs s’éteignent.
