Personal Protecve Equipment (PPE)
Always use Personal Protecve Equipment when using the Smart Mixer 2.0 or Picote Brush CoangTM
System, including suitable overalls / protecve clothing & footwear and the following:
Always wear suitable eye protecon when using the Smart Mixer 2.0 or Picote Brush
CoangTM System, to prevent coang resin or other dust from irritang your eyes.
Always wear suitable ear protecon when using the Smart Mixer 2.0 or Picote Brush
CoangTM System to prevent any hearing loss.
Always wear suitable resin-resistant gloves when using the Smart Mixer 2.0 or Picote
Brush CoangTM System to prevent any skin irritaons. Any open injuries or skin irrita-
ons should be covered at all mes to avoid contact with resin or dust.
Always wear a suitable venlaon mask when using the Smart Mixer 2.0 or Picote
Brush CoangTM System to prevent any resin dust or vapours being inhaled or con-
sumed, which can cause occupaonal asthma or epoxy dermas as well as eye irrita-
on.
Dust produced when working can be dangerous to your health, inammable or explosive.
Make sure the drain pipe has been opened and venlated to stop any gases forming in
the lateral drain where the work takes place.
Before assembly, use, replacement of parts or maintenance, unplug the Picote milling
machine from its power socket. Failure to comply may lead to serious injury including
electric shock or injury from moving parts.

INTENDED USE
This Smart Mixer 2.0 is intended for the following use;
Mixing Picote Dual Coat Epoxy and Masc for the Picote Brush CoangTM Systems.
The Smart Mixer 2.0 is specically calibrated for the Picote products.
Use Picote Mini Miller and Mini Coang Pump or Maxi Miller and Maxi Coang Pump to apply the resin. Always follow
the Picote Soluons instrucons when installing and using the machine with accessories.
VOLTAGE
Ensure that the supply voltage is correct.
The voltage of the power source must match the value given on the nameplate of the machine. Available in 230v
and 110v. (milling machine & Coang Pump).
Smart Mixer baery charger
Charger capability - 120 volt ac power source for U.S or 220 volt for EU power source.
SMART MIXER 2.0 WARRANTY WILL BE VOIDED IF THE TOOL HAS BEEN OPENED OR TAMPERED WITH BY ANYONE OTHER

Read all instrucons. Failure to follow all instrucons listed below may result in electric shock, re and/or serious
personal injury. The term “power tool” in all of the warnings listed below refers to your mains-operated (corded)
power tool or baery-operated (cordless) power tool.

2WORK AREA
2.1 Keep work area clean and well lit. Cluered or dark areas invite accidents.
2.2 Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of ammable liquids, gases, or
dust. Power tools create sparks which may ignite the dust or fumes.
2.3 Keep children and bystanders away while operang a power tool. Distracons can cause you to lose control.
2.4 Ensure sucient venlaon in working area. Always minimize exposure to the resin fumes.
2.5 Ground the pipes where work will take place. Pipes may generate sparks and give electric shocks if not earthed
properly.
3ELECTRICAL SAFETY
3.1 Power tool plugs must match the outlet. Never modify the plug in any way. Do not use any adapter plugs
with earthed (grounded) power tools. Unmodied plugs and matching outlets will reduce risk of electric shock.
3.2 Avoid body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces such as pipes, radiators, ranges and refrigerators.
There is an increased risk of electric shock if your body is earthed or grounded.
3.3 Do not expose power tools to rain or wet condions. Water entering a power tool will increase the risk of
electric shock.
3.4 Do not abuse the power cord. Never use the power cord for carrying, pulling or unplugging the power tool.
Keep power cord away from heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Damaged or entangled power cords
increase the risk of electric shock.
3.5 When operang a power tool outdoors, use an extension cord suitable for outdoor use. Use of a cord suitable
for outdoor use reduces the risk of electric shock.
4. PERSONAL SAFETY
4.1 Stay alert, watch what you are doing, and use common sense when operang a power tool. Do not use a
power tool while red or under the inuence of drugs, alcohol, or medicaon. A moment of inaenon while
operang power tools may result in serious personal injury.
4.2 Dress properly. Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry. Contain long hair. Keep your hair, clothing, and gloves
away from moving parts. Loose clothes, jewelry, or long hair can be caught in moving parts.
4.3 Avoid accidental starng. Be sure the Variable Speed Power Trigger is in the locked or o posion before
inserng the Baery. Carrying tools with your nger on the Variable Speed Power Trigger or inserng the Baery
into a tool with the Variable Speed Power Trigger on invites accidents.

4.4 Do not overreach. Keep proper foong and balance at all mes. Proper foong and balance enable beer
control of the tool in unexpected situaons.
4.5 Use safety equipment. Always wear eye protecon. Dust mask, non-skid safety shoes, hard hat, or hearing
protecon must be used for appropriate condions.
5POWER TOOL USE AND CARE
5.1 Use Mini or Maxi Coang Pump plaorm to secure and support the Smart Mixer 2.0 while working. Holding
the work by hand or against your body is unstable and may lead to loss of control.
5.2 Do not force tool. Use the correct tool for your applicaon. The correct tool will do the job beer and safer at
the rate for which it was designed.
5.3 Do not use tool if the Variable Speed Power Trigger does not turn it on or o. A tool that cannot be controlled
with the Variable Speed Power Trigger is dangerous and must be repaired.
5.4 Disconnect Baery from tool or place the Variable Speed Power Trigger in the locked or o posion before
making any adjustments, changing accessories, or storing the tool. Such preventave safety measures reduce
the risk of starng the tool accidentally.
5.5 Store idle tools out of the reach of children and other untrained persons. Tools are dangerous in the hands of
untrained users.
5.6 When Baery is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects like: paper clip, coins, keys, nails, screws, or
other small metal objects that can make a connecon from one terminal to another. Shorng the Baery
terminals together may cause sparks, burns, or a re.
5.7 Maintain tools with care. Properly maintained tools are less likely to bind and are easier to control.
5.8 Check for misalignment or binding of moving parts, breakage of parts, and any other condion that may aect
the tool’s operaon. If damaged, have the tool serviced before using. Many accidents are caused by poorly
maintained tools.
5.9 Use only accessories that are recommended by the manufacturer for your model. Accessories that may be
suitable for one tool may create a risk of injury when used for another tool.
5.10 Remove resin cartridge from Smart Mixer aer use to prevent any resin leaks of unaendent start up of the
tool.
5.11 Clean any resin stain from Smart Mixer 2.0 while sll wet. Cured resin stains may jam the tool or make it more
dicult or unsafe to operate the machine.

6SERVICE
6.1 Tool service must only be performed by qualied repair personnel. Service or maintenance performed by
unqualied personnel may result in a risk of injury.
6.2 When servicing a tool, use only idencal replacement parts. Follow instrucons in the Maintenance secon of
this manual. Use of unauthorized parts or failure to follow Maintenance Instrucons may create a risk of shock
or injury.
7MATERIAL
7.1 Before using Picote Dual Coat Epoxy or Masc, be sure to read, understand, and follow the instrucons of the
manufacturer of that material. Read the MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) supplied by the manufacturer of
the material and all wring on the material and the container thoroughly. Material may not dispense
properly if it is not at the proper temperature. Material may pose a health hazard without adequate venlaon.
7.2 DANGER: Do not use to dispense any ammable or explosive material, any material that
contains petroleum disllate(s), or any material that cannot be used safely near sparks or near
electric motors. Do not use this tool, or any other power tool, if any phrases such
as "Flammable", "Explosive", "Keep away from heat, spark, and ame", "Keep away from heat,
spark, open ames and any ignion source", "Petroleum Disllate", "Disllates (Petroleum)",
"Disconnect electric motors", etc., appear. This product contains an electric motor. All electric motors
generate sparks and may ignite vapors from materials.
8CONDITION OF TOOL
8.1 Do not use damaged tools. Lockout or clearly mark “DO NOT USE” unl repaired. Many accidents are caused
by poorly maintained tools.
8.2 Do not alter or modify tool. Any alteraon or modicaon is a misuse and may result in a dangerous condion.

9MAINTENANCE
9.1 Do not disassemble tool or baery pack. At conclusion of its useful life, remove baery pack from tool. With
out further disassembly, return baery pack intact for recycling and/or discard tool intact. Disassembly and
reassembly may create an unsafe condion.
9.2 Do not adjust internal components. This may cause an unsafe condion.
9.3 Use only mild soap for cleaning. Other cleaning agents such as gasoline, carbon tetrachloride, ammonia, etc.,
may damage plasc parts.
9.4 Always unplug charger before cleaning and when it is not in use. Failure to do so may result in shock or re.
10 OPERATION
10.1 WHEN OPERATING THE PICOTE SMART MIXER, USE BOTH HANDS. Use of both hands will help prevent
dropping the tool which could cause damage to the tool or operator.
10.2 Do not place hand or nger in front of plungers while baery is aached. This could result in injury to operator.
10.3 Do not use any aachments. Use of aachments could cause personal injury or damage to tool.
10.4 Release trigger and wait for tool to stop before removing baery pack. Removal of baery pack or cartridges during
operaon is prohibited. This could cause damage to tool or personal injury.
10.5 WARNING: When not in use, turn speed control to its minimum seng and remove baery pack. This prevents tool from
starng unintenonally.
10.6 Do not x trigger in the “ON” posion by any means (rubber band, tape, etc.). This may result in an unsafe operang
condion.
10.7 Do not operate without pistons aached. This will damage the cartridge and may be dangerous.
10.8 Use only with baeries of rated voltage and same type. Higher voltages may create an electrical hazard. Other baery
types may fall from tool, creang a risk of personal injury.

Trigger
“ON”/“OFF” mechanism
Speed Control Knob - SPEED + →
The speed feature allows you to speed up or slow down the ow of resin. To use this feature, turn the speed control knob to the ow
that is applicable to the applicaon.
Changing the speed while using the dosing feature will reduce or increase the amount of resin dispensed.

Dose Control Knob -DOSE + →
The dose control knob is used to set the amount of me per trigger pull for which resin is dispensed.
To use this feature, turn the dosing control knob unl the amount of resin needed per trigger pull is discharged.
Baery Pack
To remove baery pack, squeeze both release buons and slide the baery pack forward.
To insert baery pack, slide baery pack fully onto the base of the handle.
Rack Handle
To reposion the pistons, open the clutch lever and push or pull the rack handle, as needed.
Cartridge Nozzle Opening
Line up the cartridge in the opening to ensure accurate cartridge alignment and proper engagement of pistons.
