Safety Warnings
Read all the instructions carefully before using this
appliance and keep them for future reference.
1. Always ensure that your power supply voltage
matches this appliance’s rating label.
2. To protect against electrical shock, do not
immerse the mains cable, mains plug or any part
of the appliance in water or other liquids.
3. The appliance must be placed on a flat stable
surface and should not be subjected to
vibrations.
4. This appliance is designed for indoor use only.
5. Disconnect the appliance from the power supply
and before cleaning. Allow the appliance to cool
completely before cleaning or storing.
6. Never operate the appliance without filling
water.
7. Do not continue to operate the appliance if
you are in any doubt about it working normally
(e.g. abnormal noise, smell, smoke), or if it is
damaged in any way - switch off, withdraw the
mains plug and consult your dealer.
8. Do not let the mains cable overhang the edge of

the work surface or allow it to touch hot surfaces
or sources of heat or flame.
9. To disconnect the power cable from the mains
socket, remove the plug direct, do not pull at
the power cable.
10.Do not move the appliance while it still has hot
water in it.
11.Do not touch hot surfaces. The temperature of
accessible surfaces may be very high when the
appliance is operating.
12.Never place the appliance on or near a source of
heat such as a cooker ring or gas flame.
13.Do not use harsh abrasives, caustic cleaners or
oven cleaners to clean this appliance.
14.Allow the appliance to cool completely before
cleaning or storing.
15.If the mains cable is damaged it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent,
or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a
hazard.
16.Do not use the appliance for any other uses
than its intended use.
17.Danger of electric shock : Never attempt to
repair the appliance yourself. In case of defects

only let a qualified specialist to repair the
appliance.
18.This appliance can be used by children aged
from 8 years and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities
or lack of experience and knowledge if they
have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance in a safe way
and understand the hazards involved.
19. Children shall not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance should not be
made by children without supervision.
20. Danger of swallowing: Lay the egg pricker
protector in a safe place, do not allow children
to play with it.
21. Danger of burns: the appliance will become
very hot during operation. Do not remove the
top cover until the buzzer sets in. Regarding
the operational details, refer to the section of
“OPERATING EGG BOILER”.
WARNING!!
1. Hot steam escapes from the steam outlet during
operation!
2. Take care when using the needle at the bottom
of the measuring cup which is intended for piercing

the eggs. Danger of injury!
3. Keep the appliance out of reach from children or
infirm persons.
4. The following marking is the safe cautionary
symbol of a Hot Surface accessible to people. This
symbol alerts you to the hot hazards that you can
be injured.
-CAUTION, Hot surface. The surface can be hot and
should not be touched without taking care.

PRODUCT OVERVIEW

OPERATION
1. Unwind the cable up to the desired length. The egg boiler
has to be placed in horizontal position otherwise it might
switch off early and the eggs will be too soft.
2. Measure the required amount of water with the supplied
measuring cup. The amount of water will depend on the
desired degree of hardness. Add the desired number of
eggs and choose between the three hardness levels: soft,
medium and hard boiled. There are different markings on the
measuring cup for each of the three hardness levels. Fill with
clear, cold water to the respective mark on the measuring cup

and then pour this water into the cooking tray.
3. Before placing the eggs, pierce them at the dull side using
the egg pricker at the bottom of the measuring cup. This
prevents the eggs from bursting.
4. Place the egg holder on the cooking tray and then the
egg(s) into the egg holder with the blunt end pointing
upwards. Place the cover on top.
Only start up the egg boiler with the cover on .
Adjusting the boiling degree
The adjustment of the desired boiling degree is made by
rotating the control dial. The scale is subdivided into 3 areas,
which are marked with different symbols:
For soft boiled
For medium boiled
For hard boiled
Note that the measuring cup must always be filled up to the
corresponding level before being pured into the heating plate.
Adjusting within the range of a boiling degree
Within the range of the desired boiling degree, the hardness
will be greater with the marking line getting wider.
5. Insert the plug into a suitable mains supply socket. Flip the

on/off switch to position I to turn the egg boiler. The control
lamp indicates that the boiling procedure has begun. When
the buzzer sounds, the eggs are finished and the egg boiler
switches itself off. Flip the on/off switch to position “OFF”,
take out the eggs and put them under cold water in order to
avoid fermentation.
Caution when taking off the cover: hot steam. Only touch the
cover at the handle and let the condensation drip off by tilting
it. Since the boiling degree is subject to personal judgement,
it might be necessary to deviate from the above mentioned
criteria. Personal experience with the egg boiler will allow you
to achieve results desired by your personal taste.
CARE AND CLEANING
1. Always turn the power off, remove the plug and allow the
egg boiler to completely cool before cleaning.
2. Disconnect the egg boiler from the mains after use. When
the egg boiler has cooled down pour out the remaining water
and clean the heating plate with a damp cloth. In case of
calcium deposits on the cooking tray. Follow the directions in
the " DESCALING" section to remove scale or calcification. Do
not use scouring cleansing agents.
3. The heating bowl is made from rust-resistant stainless
steel. Any iron moulds are only residues which stick on the
surface. They should be removed with a special cleansing
agent for stainless steel.
4. Wipe the outside of the egg boiler with a slightly dampened
cloth and polish with a soft dry cloth.
Do not immerse the egg boiler in water.
