Spacer Table Attachment/Removal
Attach or remove the spacer table according to the thickness of the object to be printed on.
• Thickness of object to be printed on is 0 to 100mm (0 to 3.94in.): Attach
• Thickness of object to be printed on is 100 to 200mm (3.94 to 7.87in.): Remove
The spacer table does not have a suction function. When using the spacer table, turn o the vacuum function in the
printer settings.

CAUTION Sharp components
Take care to prevent injury from touching the sharp edges of the spacer table.
Procedure
A Turning on the sub power
B Press [SETUP].
[SETUP] starts to ash.
C Press [DOWN] or [▼] to move the at table to the lowest and frontmost (forward) position.
D Open the front cover.
E Remove any installed positioning jigs.
F Temporarily tighten the screws in the 4 locations shown in the gure.
Make a space between the screw heads and the table of approximately 2 mm (78.7 mil) (1).

G Check the front and rear positions of the spacer table.
The side with a notch at the xing location is the rear side, and the side without a notch is the front
side.
H Hold the left and right sides of the spacer table, and place the spacer table in the position
shown in the gure.

I Slide the spacer table until it hits the screw.
IMPORTANT
Move the spacer table slowly to prevent damage to the screw threads.

J Tighten the rear screws.
IMPORTANT
Do not touch the head gap sensor.
K Press [▲] to move the at table backwards about 100 mm (3.94 in).
L Tighten the front screws.
M Press and hold [SETUP] to go back to the initial state.

Removing the Spacer Table
CAUTION Sharp components
Take care to prevent injury from touching the sharp edges of the spacer table.
Procedure
A Turning on the sub power
B Press [SETUP].
[SETUP] starts to ash.
C Press [DOWN] or [▼] to move the at table to the lowest and frontmost (forward) position.
D Remove the screws securing the rear side of the spacer table.
E Press [▲] to move the at table backwards about 100 mm (3.94 in).
F Remove the screws securing the front side of the spacer table.

G Hold the left and right sides of the spacer table to remove the spacer table.

H Press and hold [SETUP] to go back to the original screen.
