NOTE
Thedriptraycan also be washed
inadishwasher.
WARNING
Extremecaution must beused when
handlingthedrip traycontaining hot fats
andjuices.
CLEANINGTHE COOKING PLATES
1. Wipethe cooking plates with asoft cloth
toremove foodresidue.
2. Alternatively,release andremovethe
cookingplates:
a)Alwaysensure thegrill iscompletely
cool.
b)Use the handle toopen the top plate to
a90degreeposition.
c)Use the PLATE RELEASEon thefront,
right sideof thetop plateto remove
the topcooking plate, andthe PLATE
RELEASEon theright side ofthe
controlpanel to removethe bottom
cookingplate.
d)Once released, gently slide the plates
o the grill.
3. Placethe cookingplates in the
dishwasher (top shelf only).
4. Alternatively,wash thecooking plates
in hotsoapywater witha soft,damp
sponge.A non-abrasiveliquid cleanser
maybe used to avoidbuild-up of stains.
Apply thecleanser tothe sponge,not the
plate,beforecleaning.Remove stubborn
residuewith a non-abrasiveplastic
scouringpador nylonwashingbrush.
5. Rinseand dry thoroughly.Always
ensurethe cooking platesarecorrectly
re-inserted andsecurely locked back
into positionafter cleaningand priorto
inserting the powerplug into awalloutlet.
Ensurethe grill isturned OFFbypressing
the POWER button.Removethe power
plug fromthe wall outlet.Allow thegrill to
cool completelybefore disassemblingand
cleaning.
Always cleanthe outerbody, drip tray and
cookingplatesafter each use to prevent
abuild-upof ingredients.
NOTE
Do notuse abrasive cleansersor metal
scouring padson anyof the interioror
exterior surfaces ofthe grill.These will
scratchthe surfacesand damagethe
non-stickcoatingon the cooking plates.
WARNING
Do notimmerse thebody, power cord or
power plugin water or any otherliquid as this
maycause electrocution.
CLEANINGTHE OUTER BODY
Wipe theouter bodywith asoft, damp
sponge.A non-abrasiveliquid cleanser or
mild spray solutionmaybe usedto avoid
build-up ofstains.Apply the cleanserto the
sponge,not the grill surface,beforecleaning.
Rinse.Let allsurfaces dry thoroughly priorto
inserting the powerplug into awalloutlet.
CLEANINGTHE DRIPTRAY
After eachuse,slide out thedrip tray and
discardcontents.Wash thetrayin warm
soapywaterwith a soft,damp sponge.A
non-abrasive liquidcleanser may be usedto
avoid build-up ofstains.Apply thecleanser
tothesponge,not the tray, beforecleaning.
Rinse anddry thoroughly.Always ensure
to re-insert thedrip tray into thegrill after
cleaning andprior toinserting thepowerplug
intoawalloutlet.
