and XDS522A

(XDS522/XDS522A) emulationsystems pro-

videbreakpoint,trace,andtimingcapabilitiesforyourdebuggingtasks.These

capabilities add to those provided by the C source debugger.

This manual explains how to install the hardware and software for the

XDS522/XDS522A emulation system.

, to install the XDS522/XDS522A hardware and software.

The XDS522 is used with the TMS370C8 and TMS370C16. The XDS522A is

used with the TMS320C2xx.

Notational Conventions

This document uses the following conventions:

The TMS320C209 and TMS320C209SE devices are referred to as the

’C2xx.

The TMS370C8 is referred to as the ’C8.

The TMS370C16 is referred to as the ’C16.

The command is bload. The command has one parameter, indicated by

tionalparameter,youspecifytheinformationwithinthebrackets;youdon’t

enter the brackets themselves. Here’s an example of an instruction that

has an optional parameter:
