This user manual is intended not only for all users of the machine, but also for those who install and
maintain the NL-33 v.3 Auto Maxi. The goal is to familiarize you with the operaon, to provide for safe
working instrucons and guidelines for maintenance.

1. General descripon
The pneumac NL-33 v.3 Auto Maxi is a praccal, universal heat seal machine. Texle labels, emblems,
repair patches, transfers, in short, all Thermopatch materials for marking and repair are easily and durably
pressed onto texle fabrics.
1.1 Delivery
The NL-33 v.3 Auto Maxi machines are delivered on a pallet covered with a wooden crate. In the delivery of
your NL-33 v.3 Auto Maxi machine you will nd:
• NL-33 v.3 Auto Maxi heat seal machine
• Footswitch
• Power cord
• Air tube 6 mm
• CE declaraon with serial number

1.2 Warranty and product liability condions
Thermopatch points to its warranty and product liability condions as laid down in our terms and
condions. These can be obtained from your Thermopatch supplier.
2. Intended use
The NL-33 v.3 Auto Maxi heat seal machine is praccal and universally applicable.
The machine is designed for applying transfers, emblems and other Thermopatch heat seal products.
WARNING!
Any use other than described above can be dangerous and cause damage
and thus qualies as ‘misuse’ which excludes Thermopatch BV from any liability.

3. Assembly and installaon
3.1 Assembly and installaon
Unpacking
• Remove the straps and the wooden protecve crate.
• Use a 10 mm spanner to remove the four screws with which the machine is screwed to the pallet.
• Remove the security screw using the Allen key 4 provided (See picture 2 on the next page).
• Center the press between both plates.
ATTENTION!
Do not transport the machine by liing it by the plates!
This will cause damage to the machine.

• Place the liing bars which are packed with the machine. Place the short bar on the back and the
long bar on the front.
• NEVER LIFT THE MACHINE BY THE PLATES
• Li the machine onto the worktable by means of the liing bars that are mounted front and back (1).
• Place the sealing plates if they are not already mounted.
• Remove the transport bars from the machine.
• Connect the compressed air supply with a minimum pressure of 4 bar.
• Store the liing bars for future use.

3.2 Electrical installaon (1)
Take the NL-33 v.3 Auto Maxi out of the box by using the liing bars and place the machine on a stable
worktable in the vicinity of a grounded socket. The NL-33 v.3 Auto Maxi is connected to the power sup-
ply (230 V alternang current) with the supplied power cable. The NL-33 v.3 Auto Maxi is grounded and
equipped with two fuses type T 16 A. Place the power cord in the safety clip, which is mounted underneath
the power switch on the back of the machine, see below instrucon.
3.3 Pneumac installaon (2)
To be able to work with the NL-33 v.3 Auto Maxi without problems, it is very important that you work
with clean, dry air that is oered at a minimum of 4 bar up to a maximum of 8 ba. The supplied water
separator / pressure regulator is only an addional protecon for the machine. The user must ensure that
the air pressure does not exceed 8 bar. Connect an air tube with a diameter of 6 mm to the locally provided
air pressure system and connect it to the water separator / pressure regulator of the NL-33 v.3 Auto Maxi.

4. Operang instrucon
4.1 Operang the NL-33 v.3 Auto Maxi
• Switch on the press by pressing the power switch located at the rear.
• Adjust set point temperature (See 4.2.1.b).
• Adjust sealing me (See 4.2.1 a).
• Adjust the pressure (according to the type of transfer)
• Place the garment on the lower platen.
• Place the transfer.
• Once the heang platen has reached the desired temperature, close the machine with the handle.
• When the machine is closed, the mer starts running.
• At the end of the sealing me, the press will open automacally.
• If you want to interrupt the cycle, you can do it by pushing the stop buon located on the control
panel: the press will then open automacally within 2 seconds (see 4.2.3).
4.2 Operang the control panel

a) Pressing me
Press here to set the machine’s pressing me.
Use the le and right arrow keys to increase and decrease the seng.
You can also have 4 consecuve pressing mes (cf. “sengs (e)”) on
single-platen presses and up to 4 mes for dual-platen presses.
You can also change this seng by pressing the me display and
entering the required me from the touch pad (4 characters must be
entered).
Once you have entered the required me, press the “conrm” key in
the boom right corner of the screen.
b) Temperature seng
Press the “temperature” menu (b). You can select the temperature
you require in the same way as for the pressing me, using the arrow
keys on the le and right of the temperature display. You can also click
on the reading and manually select a temperature. When typing in a
temperature below 100°C, enter a “0” rst (e.g. 090°C).
You can also slide the blue cursor le and right with your nger to
lower and raise the temperature respecvely, and then adjust it using
the arrows. Select the prole you wish to press (Texle, Rigid or DTG).
c) Item counter/Operang mode
This menu shows how many items the machine has printed.
When you click on this icon, two counters are displayed.
See the table below.
You can also select the operang mode on Duplex models: single-
platen, dual-platen actuated by buon/pedal for each press stroke,
and dual-platen auto mode.
The rst counter shows the paral count and can be reset to zero by
pressing the arrow to its right.
The second counter shows the total number of items printed since the
machine was installed. This count is permanent and cannot be reset.
