. Status LEDs

a. System status: Flashing when the Extendá is starting up.

Solid indicates a successful start-up.

b. Battery status:Turns on when battery power is low.

c. Battery charging status: Orange when the battery is charging.

Green when the battery is fully charged.

OVERVIEW

1. Download the Extendá app

Download the Extendá app from your devices' app store.

The Extendá app is available for iOS®8.0 and above,

Android™ 4.0 and above, Android TV 4.0 and above,

Windows® Windows XP and above, and Mac OS X

2. Connect the Extendá to your camera

Use a compatible USB cable to connect from the

Extendá’s USB port to your camera’s AV / USB

port. Turn on the Extendá and your camera.

Note: Some cameras use speciﬁc cables for this

operation, which are not supplied.

3. Connect to Extendá Wi-Fi hotspot

After turning on the Extendá, the system status indicator light

will turn solid green. In your device settings, connect to the

Extendá Wi-Fi hotspot [Extendá-xxxx].

4. Launch the Extendá app

Start the Extendá app from your device.

Extendá Battery Charging

Use the Micro-B USB cable to connect the Extendá to a power

source, such as a USB wall charger or powered USB port.

Charging Other Devices

You can charge devices, such as a smartphone, by

using a compatible USB cable to connect your mobile

device to the USB port on the Extendá.

Settings: Access the camera’s exposure settings such

as shutter speed, aperture, ISO, and exposure

compensation. Use the sliders to change the values.

Browse: Access the pictures saved on the camera.

Shutter button: Release the camera’s shutter.

Live View (LV): View what the camera sees in real time.

Auto View: Displays picture after each exposure.

NEED FURTHER ASSISTANCE?

The Extendá app automatically checks for ﬁrmware

upgrades. If new ﬁrmware is available, the Extendá

will start the upgrade wizard. Follow the instructions

provided by the wizard to upgrade the ﬁrmware.
