GENERAL INFORMATION
1. A qualified electrician, in accordance with IEE wiring regulations, should carry out
connection to mains wiring.
2. Ensure that the rated voltage and frequency requirements are compatible with the
available mains supply.
3. Cleaning of reflectors and lenses should be carried out using clean, soft and lint free
cloths and anti-static cleaning fluid.
4. Do not carry out high voltage insulation test, i.e. 500/1000v this may damage internal
components.
5. Electrically isolate this luminaire during maintenance.
6. Replacing the light source within this luminaire shall only be carried out by the
manufacturer, service agent or a similar qualified person.

PRODUCT DATA
Tegan Slim is a high quality recessed luminaire offering a framed Micro Mid diffuser or
opal diffuser, and is compatible with lay-in 15 or 25mm exposed tee ceiling types.
Available with Fixed Output or DALI gear, and equipped with integral 3hr maintained
emergency and COMEPS inverters.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Non-Emergency – Wire Mains into the driver according to the driver symbols
2. Emergency – Remove the cover off of the EM box and connect the mains etc. -
see opposite. Connect batteries and replace the EM cover back onto the body.
3. Lift and tilt the luminaire into the ceiling void then rest it on the ceiling grid (see
Fig 1). Please allow circa 200mm void space to achieve this action.
4. If plasterboard frame (TESPBF) is required cut aperture 610 x 610 mm ensur-
ing you allow circa 250mm void space, lay in luminaire from behind and use
provided brackets to secure.

Wire DALI coms for self test system to ‘DALI EM’ (these are polarity free)
If ‘Easytest’ self-test is required ignore these connections.
Please note
If the luminaire is controlled via DALI, then choose one of the options below:
1. If using a fully addressable system i.e. only a single DALI pair is supplied to the
fitting then the DALI & DALI EM terminals need to be linked as shown in Fig 3.
2. If using a DALI broadcast system i.e. DALI control for the fitting and a separate
DALI coms for self test interrogation, DO NOT ATTACH THE LINK CONNEC-
TIONS.
