Vor dem Benutzen
Die Gebrauchsanweisung aufmerksam lesen. Sie enthält wichtige Hin-
weise für den Gebrauch, die Sicherheit und die Wartung des Gerätes.
Sie soll sorgfältig aufbewahrt und gegebenenfalls an
Nachbenutzer weitergegeben werden. Das Gerät darf nur für den
vorgesehenen Zweck gemäß dieser Gebrauchsanweisung verwendet
werden. Beim Gebrauch die Sicherheitshinweise beachten.

Sicherheitshinweise
▪Das Gerät ist für Kurzzeitbetrieb ausgelegt. Sollen größere
Mengen nacheinander gemahlen werden, nach 2 Minuten
Betrieb eine Pause einlegen, die ausreicht, um das Gerät
abkühlen zu lassen.
▪ Mit diesem Gerät nur Kaffeebohnen mahlen.
▪ Maximale Füllmenge des Vorratsbehälters: 250 g Kaffeebohnen.
▪Achtung! Der Auffangbecher für das Kaffeepulver fasst nur ca.
100 g. Wird er überfüllt, könnte das Gerät verstopfen. Deshalb den
Becher rechtzeitig leeren.
▪ Die Anschlussleitung nicht über scharfe Kanten ziehen oder
einklemmen, nicht herunterhängen lassen sowie vor Hitze und Öl
schützen.
▪ Das Gerät nicht auf heiße Oberflächen wie Herdplatten o. Ä. stellen
und nicht in der Nähe offener
▪ Flammen betreiben.
▪ Den Netzstecker nicht an der Leitung oder mit nassen Händen aus
der Steckdose ziehen.
▪ Dieses Gerät ist nicht dafür bestimmt, durch Personen (einschließ-
lich Kinder) mit eingeschränkten
▪ physischen, sensorischen oder geistigen Fähigkeiten oder mangels
Erfahrung und/oder mangels Wissen benutzt zu werden, es sei
denn, sie werden durch eine für ihre Sicherheit zuständige Person
beaufsichtigt oder erhielten von ihr Anweisungen, wie das Gerät zu
benutzen ist.
▪ Achten Sie darauf, dass Kinder keine Gelegenheit erhalten, mit dem
Gerät zu spielen.
▪ Das Gerät nicht in Betrieb nehmen bzw. sofort Netzstecker ziehen,
wenn:
⋅Gerät oder Netzkabel beschädigt ist,
⋅der Verdacht auf einen Defekt nach einem Sturz o. Ä. besteht.
In diesen Fällen das Gerät zur Reparatur geben.

▪ Der Netzstecker ist zu ziehen:
⋅bei Störungen während des Betriebes
⋅vor jeder Reinigung und Pflege
⋅nach dem Gebrauch.
▪ Das Gerät nicht in Wasser tauchen.
▪ Bei Zweckentfremdung, falscher Bedienung oder nicht fachge-
rechter Reparatur wird keine Haftung für eventuelle Schäden
übernommen. Ebenso sind Garantieleistungen in solchen Fällen
ausgeschlossen.
▪ Das Gerät ist nicht für den gewerblichen Gebrauch bestimmt.
▪ Wenn die Anschlussleitung dieses Gerätes beschädigt wird, muss sie
durch den zentralen Kundendienst des Herstellers oder eine ähnlich
qualifizierte Person ersetzt werden. Durch unsachgemäße Repara-
turen können erhebliche Gefahren für den Benutzer entstehen.
Mahlgrad
Am Stellrad (3) kann der gewünschte Mahlgrad stufenlos von 1...6
- Espresso, bis 17 - grobes Kaffeepulver eingestellt werden. Die Einstel-
lung sollte vor dem Einfüllen der Kaffeebohnen erfolgen,
da sonst zwischen den Mahlscheiben eingeklemmte Bohnen das
Anlaufen des Motors verhindern
könnten. Während des Mahlens kann bei laufendem Motor die Einstel-
lung jederzeit verändert werden.
Inbetriebnahme
Deckel (1) und Auffangbecher (2) vor Erstinbetriebnahme reinigen
und gut austrocknen. Den Netzstecker an eine Steckdose anschließen.
Danach den Vorratsbehälter füllen und den Deckel aufsetzen.
Achtung! Diese Kaffeemühle ist ausschließlich zum Mahlen von
Kaffeebohnen geeignet. Die Verwendung anderen Mahlgutes, wie
z.B. Mohn, Nüssen, Zucker usw., gilt als unsachgemäßer Gebrauch
und führt zum Verlust Ihrer Garantieansprüche. Am Drehknopf
für die Vorauswahl (4) die gewünschte Portionszahl einstellen. Der
Mahlvorgang beginnt nach dem Drücken der Starttaste (5). Um eine
Verletzungsgefahr an den rotierenden Mahlscheiben auszuschließen,
verhindert ein Sicherheitssensor, dass bei nicht ordnungsgemäß einge-
setztem Auffangbecher der Motor anläuft.
Ist die eingestellte Kaffeemenge gemahlen, schaltet die Mühle auto-
matisch ab. Den Stillstand des Motors abwarten. Den Auffangbecher
beim Herausziehen nach unten drücken. Das Kaffeepulver kann direkt
in den Filter der Kaffeemaschine gegeben werden.
Bei wiederholtem Mahlen keinesfalls die Betriebszeit von 2 Minu-
ten überschreiten.
Um Aromaverluste zu vermeiden, sollte nur für den sofortigen Ver-
brauch gemahlen werden.
Wichtiger Hinweis:
Sollte das Mahlwerk nicht anlaufen, könnte der Motor durch
eingeklemmte Bohnen blockiert sein. In diesem Fall am Stellrad einen
höheren Mahlgrad einstellen. Nach dem Anlaufen kann bei laufendem
Motor sofort auf die gewünschte Korngröße zurückgestellt werden.

Reinigung und Pflege
Nach Gebrauch Netzstecker ziehen. Das Gerät keinesfalls in Wasser
tauchen, sondern außen nur mit einem feuchten Tuch abwischen.
Keine scheuernden Reinigungsmittel verwenden. Mit einem Pinsel kön-
nen Pulverreste entfernt werden. Sollte das Gerät verstopfen, genügt
es, eine kleine Menge Kaffee bei höchstem Mahlgrad zu mahlen.
Garantie-Information
Für unsere Geräte übernehmen wir gegenüber dem Endkunden eine
24-monatige Haltbarkeitsgarantie. Sie beginnt mit dem Kauf des
Gerätes durch den Endkunden und gilt im Gebiet der Bundesrepublik
Deutschland. Ansprüche aus dieser Garantie sind unter Vorlage des
Kaufbelegs direkt gegenüber unserem zentralen Kundendienst geltend
zu machen.
Von der Garantie ausgeschlossen sind Schäden durch normalen Ver-
schleiß, unsachgemäßen Gebrauch sowie unterbliebene Pflege.
Der Endkunde besitzt zusätzlich zu den Ansprüchen aus dieser Garantie
gesetzliche Ansprüche wegen Mängeln des Gerätes gegenüber seinem
direkten Verkäufer/Händler, die durch diese Garantie nicht einge-
schränkt werden.
Das Gerät entspricht den Europäischen Richtlinien 2006/95/EG,
2004/108/EG und 2009/125/EG.
Dieses Produkt darf am Ende seiner Lebensdauer nicht über den
normalen Haushaltsabfall entsorgt werden, sondern muss an einem
Sammelpunkt für das Recycling von elektrischen und elektronischen
Geräten abgegeben werden.
Die Werkstoffe sind gemäß ihrer Kennzeichnung wiederverwertbar.
Mit der Wiederverwendung, der stofflichen Verwertung oder anderen
Formen der Verwertung von Altgeräten leisten Sie einen wichtigen
Beitrag zum Schutze unserer Umwelt.
Bitte erfragen Sie bei der Gemeindeverwaltung die zuständige Entsor-
gungsstelle.

Prior to use
Read these instructions carefully. They contain important
notes for the use, safety and maintenance of the appliance.
Keep them in a safe place and transfer them to a future
user.
Only use the appliance for the purpose mentioned in
these instructions.
When using pay particular attention to the following
safety advice.

Safety information
▪The appliance is made for a short-term operation. If longer
times are required, pause after 2 minutes of operation. This is
sufficient to let the appliance cool down.
▪ This appliance is suitable to grind only coffee beans.
▪ Maximum capacity: 250 g coffee beans.
▪Attention! The container for the coffee powder only holds 100
g. If it is too full, the appliance might block. Therefore empty the
container in time.
▪ Do not pull the connection cord over sharp edges nor jam it, do not
allow it to hang down, and protect it from heat and oil.
▪ Do not place the appliance onto hot surfaces, e. g. hot plate, etc. or
near open flames.
▪ Do not pull out the plug by the cord or touch it with wet hands.
▪ This appliance is not meant to be used by persons (including
children) with reduced physical, sensorial or mental capacities or
in absence of the necessary experience and/or knowledge - unless
they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety and
from whom they get instructions on how to use the appliance.
▪ Keep out of reach from children.
▪ If the following happens do not use the appliance and
▪ unplug it immediately:
⋅the appliance or the mains cable is damaged
⋅any defect after the appliance has accidently dropped or
something similar is suspected.
In these cases have the appliance repaired.
▪ Disconnect the appliance in these situations:
⋅any malfunction during operation
⋅prior to cleaning and maintenance
⋅after use
▪ Do not immerse the appliance in water.
▪ In the case of misuse, wrong handling or incorrect repair no
liability will be taken for possible damages.
Claims under guarantee are also excluded in such cases.

▪ The appliance is not designed for commercial purposes.
▪ In case the cord of this appliance is damaged, it has to be replaced
by an authorised service agent of the manufacturer or a person
having similar qualifications. Substantial dangers for the user can
appear from inappropriate repairs.
Grinding degree
You can adjust the desired grinding degree on the regulation wheel
(3) without settings, from 1...6 – espresso up to 17 – coarse coffee
powder. The adjustment should be done prior to filling of the coffee
beans, otherwise the beans jamming between the grinding discs might
block the motor. During the grinding procedure, the adjustment can be
changed at every time.
Putting into operation
Clean the lid (1) and the receptacle (2) for the ground material before
first use and dry it well. Put the plug into the socket. Then fill the
storing container and put the lid on.
Attention! This coffee grinder is exclusively suitable for grinding
coffee beans. The use of other grinding stock, for example poppy seed,
nuts, sugar, etc., is considered to be improper and causes the loss of
your warranty claims.
Adjust the desired number of portions by the regulation wheel for the
pre-selection (4).The grinding procedure starts after turning the start
button (5). In order to exclude the danger of injuries on the rotating
grinding discs, a security sensor avoids that the motor starts when the
receptacle is not put on properly. As soon as the adjusted quantity is
ground, the coffee mill switches off automatically. After the motor
has stopped working, pull the receptacle down when taking out. The
ground coffee can be put directly into the filter of the coffee machine.
When grinding several times, never use for more than 2 minutes.
In order to avoid a loss of the flavour, only grind the coffee beans for
immediate consumption.
Important note:
If the coffee grinder does not work, the motor might be blocked by
jammed beans. In this case, adjust the higher grinding degree by
regulation wheel. When the machine has cleared, reset to the desired
setting.
Cleaning and maintenance
After use disconnect the appliance. Never immerse the appliance in
water. Clean it with a damp cloth only. Never use scouring cleansing
agents. Residues of the coffee can be removed with a brush. If the
appliance blocks it is sufficient to grind a little amount of coffee at
highest grain size.

▪ This product is supplied with a 13 A plug conforming to BS 1363
fitted to the mains lead. If the plug is unsuitable for your socket
outlets or needs to be replaced, please note the following. If the
plug is a non-rewireable one, cut it from the mains lead and imme-
diately dispose of it. Never insert it into a socket outlet as there is a
very great risk of an electric shock.
▪ The replacement of the plug at the mains lead has to be done
according to the following instructions:
Important: The wires in this mains lead are coloured in accordance
with the following code:
blue Neutral
brown Live
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this
appliance may not correspond with the coloured markings
identifying the terminals in your plug, proceed as follows:
⋅the wire which is coloured blue must be connected to the
terminal which is marked with the letter N or coloured black,
⋅the wire which is coloured brown must be connected to the
terminal which is marked with the letter L or coloured red.
Do not connect any wire to the terminal which is marked
with the letter E or by the earth symbol , or coloured green or green
and yellow.
▪ If a 13 A (BS 1363) plug is used it must be fitted with a 3 A fuse
conforming to BS 1362 and be ASTA approved. If any other type of
plug is used, the appliance must be protected by a 5 A fuse either
in the plug or adapter or at the distribution board. If in doubt -
consult a qualified electrician.
▪ Never use the plug without closing the fuse cover.
The appliance complies with the European directives 2006/95/
EC,2004/108/EC and 2009/125/EC.
This product may not be disposed of with the normal household waste
at the end of its service life but must be delivered to a collecting
point for recycling electrical and electronic appliances. The materials
are reusable in accordance with their identification. You will make
an important contribution to the protection of our environment by
recycling used appliances.
Please ask about the responsible disposal point at your community
offices.

Consignes de sécurité

Si vous avez des doses importantes à moudre les unes derrière
les autres, merci de respecter une pause après deux minutes
d‘utilisation, et qui soit suffisante pour que l‘appareil refroi-
disse.
▪ Moudre uniquement des grains de café avec cet appareil.
▪ Dose maximum de remplissage: 250 gr de grains de café.
▪Attention! Le réservoir pour le café moulu a une contenance de
100 g uniquement. Si l‘appareil est trop rempli, cela peut provoquer
son arrêt de fonctionnement.
▪ Ne pas tirer ni coincer le câble sur des bords tranchants. Ne pas le
laisser pendre, le protéger de la chaleur et de l ’humidité.
▪ Ne pas poser l‘appareil sur des surfaces chaudes comme des plaques
électriques ou autres ou à proximité d‘une flamme non protégée.
▪ Ne pas brancher ou débrancher la prise avec les mains mouillées.
▪ Cet appareil n’est pas prévu pour être utilisé par des personnes
(inclus les enfants) ayant des facultés physiques, sensorielles ou
mentales réduites ou à défaut un manque d’expérience et/ou de
connaissance - sauf s’ ils sont surveillés par une personne respons-
able de leur sécurité ou s’ils recoivent de celleci des instructions sur
la manière d’ utiliser l’appareil.
▪ Bien veiller à ce que les enfants ne jouent pas avec cet appareil.
