Congratulations to your purchase of the B-Speech® RTX1 professional transmitter and receiver.
The B-Speech® RTX1 offers the possibility to transmit stereo audio signals via Bluetooth® from devices
such as hi- systems, TV, MP3, mobile phones or other output equipment to Bluetooth® receivers
within 30 metres (transmitter mode). Moreover, it is also able to play data received via Bluetooth®
in complete stereo quality using your customary devices such as speakers, hi- systems, or wired

Get started
Attach the antenna
Screw the package included antenna on to the rear of the RTX1 antenna terminal by rmly turning it to
the right. Set up the antenna and set it to the desired position.
Note: Different antenna positions can affect wireless working range. Check which position gives you
the best result.

Receiver mode (Rx)
The RTX1 can be used to receive audio data from A2DP capable Bluetooth® devices in transmitter
mode and outputs them through the RCA or 3.5mm jack connectors.
Application examples: Mobile phone > RTX1 > Hi-Fi System

BT Transmitter > RTX1 > Wired Headphones
1. Connect the required cables into the rear sided RCA or 3.5mm jacks of RTX1 marked with
“Rx Output”.
2. Switch on RTX1 and select the receiver mode by pressing the Rx button. Your RTX1 is in pairing
mode and will search for other Bluetooth® transmitters which are in pairing mode.
3. Use your mobile phone, Computer or other Bluetooth® transmitter to search for Bluetooth® audio
devices. The Bluetooth® should indicate that it has found “RTX-1”. Conrm that you want to pair it
with RTX1 together. If you are unsure how to go through the pairing process, please refer to the user
manual of your Bluetooth® device or the installed Bluetooth® software stack of your Computer.
When asked for a pin key, enter “0000” and conrm to connect it to your RTX1.
When using a Bluetooth® transmitter without display, simply turn on pairing or connect mode on your
Bluetooth® transmitter and wait a few seconds until it established the connection with RTX1.
4. You can now enjoy your favourite music wirelessly. To control music playback you can use the
multifunction button on the RTX1 to play/pause music streaming.
Note: If you lost the connection or temporarily disconnected your mobile phone/Computer, shortly press
the multifunction button on the RTX1 to re-establish the connection.
To use the play/pause feature your Computer/mobile phone must support the AVRCP prole.
Connect the AC adapter
Plug the AC adapter into the wall socket. Connect the other end of the USB cable to the rear side
of the RTX1.
Connect audio cables
When using the RTX1 as a receiver for audio, plug the RCA or 3.5mm jack cables into the ports
labelled “Receiver Out”.
When using the RTX1 as a transmitter for audio, plus the RCA or 3.5mm jack cables into the ports
labelled “Transmitter In”
Power On/Off
To power on RTX1 press and hold the multifunction button for at least 3 seconds. The LED will turn on.
To power off RTX1 press and hold the multifunction button for at least 4 seconds. The LED will turn off.
Pairing
Your RTX1 needs to be paired to a Bluetooth® device before it can be used. This is a two part process;
one part is carried out on the RTX1 and the other is carried out by the Bluetooth® device you want to
connect to.
Note: Various Bluetooth® devices use different methods of pairing.
With your RTX1 turned on, press the Rx or Tx Button to enter pairing mode. The LEDs will alternate
rapidly between blue and red which indicates that the RTX1 is in pairing mode.

Wireless working range to low Make sure you attached the antenna correctly and are
within 10 metres range for Rx and 30 metres for Tx mode.
No audio output Check the cable connections and correct conguration.
Can’t connect to RTX1 Make sure the Bluetooth® device support A2DP and
pin code 0000, 1234 and 8888.
When changing from Rx to Tx mode or vice versa pairing and
connecting the RTX1 must be reapplied.

Transmitter mode (Tx)
The RTX1 can be used to transmit audio signals from devices connected to the RCA or 3.5mm jack
connectors to A2DP capable Bluetooth® devices in receiver mode.

1. Connect the required cables into the RTX1s rear sided RCA or 3.5mm jacks marked with “Tx Input”.
2. Switch on RTX1 and select the transmitter mode by pressing the Tx button. Your RTX1 is in pairing
mode and will search for other Bluetooth® receivers which are in pairing mode.
3. Use your Bluetooth® receiver and search for the “RTX-1”. Conrm to pair it with RTX1. If you are
unsure how to go through the pairing process, please refer to the user manual of your Bluetooth®
receiver. When asked for a pin key, enter “0000” and conrm to connect it to your RTX1.
When using a Bluetooth® receiver without display, simply turn on pairing or connect mode on your
Bluetooth® receiver and wait a few seconds until it established the connection with RTX1.
4. You can now enjoy your favourite music wirelessly over your Bluetooth® device.

Erste Schritte
Anbringen der Antenne
Die im Lieferumfang enthaltene Antenne an den rückseitigen Antennenanschluss des RTX1 durch
drehen nach rechts festschrauben. Die Antenne aufstellen und an die gewünschte Position einstellen.
Hinweis: Unterschiedliche Antennenpositionen können die Funkreichweite beeinussen. Überprüfen
Sie welche Antennenposition das beste Ergebniss erzielt.
Anschließen des Netzteils
Das Netzteil in eine Steckdose stecken. Das andere Ende des USB-Kabels an die Rückseite des RTX1
verbinden.
(Receiver Modus) abzuspielen, welche über Bluetooth® empfangen werden.
Das B-Speech® RTX1 hat Chinch-Buchsen und bietet vielfältige Anwendungsmöglichkeiten.

1. Die benötigten Kabel in die rückseitigen Chinch oder 3,5mm Anschlüsse des RTX1 mit der
Markierung „Rx Output“ verbinden.
2. RTX1 einschalten und den Empfangsmodus durch Drücken der Rx Taste auswählen. Das RTX1
geht in den Pairing-Modus und sucht nach anderen Bluetooth®-Sendern welche sich im Pairing-
Modus benden.
3. Nutzen Sie Ihr Handy, Computer oder einen anderen Bluetooth-Sender um nach Bluetooth®-
Audiogeräten zu suchen. Das Bluetooth®-Gerät sollte angeben, dass es das “RTX-1” gefunden
hat. Bestätigen Sie das Pairen mit dem RTX1. Falls Sie nicht sicher sind, wie das Pairing bei Ihrem
Bluetooth®-Gerät funktioniert, schauen Sie bitte in der Bedienungsanleitung des Geräts nach.
Bei Nutzung eines Bluetooth®-Transmitters ohne Display, dieses in den Pairing- bzw. Verbindungs-
Modus schalten und einige Sekunden warten, bis die Verbindung mit dem RTX1 hergestellt wurde.
4. Sie können nun Ihre Lieblingsmusik kabellos genießen. Um das Musikstreaming zu steuern, kann die
Multifunktionstaste zum Wiedergeben/Pausieren gedrückt werden.
Hinweis: Wenn die Verbindung verloren geht oder der Sender kurzzeitig getrennt wird, drücken Sie die
Multifunktionstaste des RTX1 um die Verbindung wiederherzustellen. Um die Wiedergeben/Pausieren
Funktion zu verwenden, muss der Sender das AVRCP Prol unterstützen.
Sendemodus (Tx)
Das RTX1 kann genutzt werden um Audiosignale von Geräten, welche über die Chinch oder 3,5mm
Anschlüsse verbunden sind, an A2DP-fähige Bluetooth®-Geräte auszugeben die im Empfangsmodus
arbeiten.
Verbinden der Audiokabel
Bei Nutzung des RTX1 als Empfänger für Audiosignale, die Chinch- oder 3,5mm Kabel in die Anschlüs-
se mit der Markierung „Receiver Out“ stecken.
Bei Nutzung des RTX1 als Sender für Audiosignale, die Chinch- oder 3,5mm Kabel in die Anschlüsse
mit der Markierung „Transmitter In“ stecken.
Ein-/Ausschalten
Zum Einschalten des RTX1 drücken und halten der Multifunktionstaste für mindestens 3 Sekunden. Die
LED beginnt zu leuchten.
Zum Ausschalten des RTX1 drücken und halten der Multifunktionstaste für mindestens 4 Sekunden.
Die LED erlischt.
Pairing
Das RTX1 muss mit einem Bluetooth®-Gerät gepairt werden bevor, es eingesetzt werden kann. Dieser
Vorgang läuft in zwei Schritten ab: Ein Schritt wird mit dem RTX1, der andere mit dem Bluetooth®
Gerät ausgeführt.
Hinweis: Bitte beachten Sie, dass bei unterschiedlichen Mobiltelefonen auch unterschiedliche Pairing-
Methoden angewandt werden.
Drücken Sie bei eingeschaltetem RTX1 die Rx- oder Tx Taste um in den Pairing-Modus zu wechseln.
Die LEDs werden abwechselnd zwischen blau und rot wechseln und weisen darauf hin, dass das RTX1
im Pairing-Modus ist.
Empfangsmodus (Rx)
Das RTX1 kann genutzt werden um Audiosignale von A2DP-fähigen Bluetooth®-Geräten über die
Chinch oder 3,5mm Anschlüsse auszugeben, welche im Sendemodus arbeiten.

Funkreichweite zu gering Stellen Sie sicher dass die Antenne korrekt angebracht ist

drücken Sie die Multifunktionstaste des RTX1 um die Verbindung wiederherzustellen.

Fehlerbehebung
