interface.
▶Usethedeviceonlyasintended.Non-intendeduseofthedevicemaybedangeroustopeople,nearby
equipment and the environment.
▶Use the device only in conjunction with third-party devices and components recommended or approved
byBürkert.
▶Onlyoperatethedevicewhenitisinperfectcondition.
▶Prerequisitesforsafeandtrouble-freeoperationarecorrecttransportation,correctstorage,installation,
start-up,operationandmaintenance.
▶Tousethedevice,observethepermitteddata,operatingconditionsandconditionsofuse.Thesespeci-
cationscanbefoundinthecontractdocuments,theoperatinginstructionsandonthedevice.

3 BASIC SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Thesesafetyinstructionsdonottakeintoaccountanyunforeseencircumstancesandeventswhichoccur
duringinstallation,operationandmaintenance.Theoperatorisresponsibleforobservingthelocation-spe-
cicsafetyregulations,alsowithreferencetopersonnel.
Generalhazardoussituations.
Topreventinjuries,observethefollowing:
▶Usethedeviceonlywhenitisinperfectconditionandinaccordancewiththeoperatinginstructions.
▶Donotmodifythedevice.
▶Do not mechanically load the device.
▶Secure the device or system to prevent unintentional activation.
▶Onlytrainedtechniciansmayperforminstallationandmaintenancework.
▶Install the device according to the regulations applicable in the respective country.
▶Afteraninterruptioninthepowersupply,ensurethattheprocessisrestartedinacontrolledmanner.
▶Observethegeneralrulesoftechnology.

start-up.
