2. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Read these instructions thoroughly before using the appliance.

Keep this instruction manualfor future reference or new users.

•Make sure that the mains voltage matches the voltage

stated on the rating label of the appliance and that the wall

outlet is grounded.

•Check the power cord regularly for visible damage. If the

cord is damaged, it must be replaced bythe officialTechnical

Support Service of Cecotec in order to avoid any type of

danger.

•Do not immerse the cord, plug, or any non-removable part

of the appliance in water or any other liquid, nor expose the

electrical connections to water. Make sure your hands are

dry before handling the plug or switching on the appliance.

WARNING: if the appliance falls accidently into water, unplug it

immediately and do not reach into the water!

•Do not operate the device if any fault or unusual sign is

detected.

•Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers and otherparts ofthe body

away from the appliance’s openings and moving parts.

•Make sure the appliance is placed on a flat and stable

surface during operation.

•Do not use the appliance near a window, rain could cause

an electric shock.

•Do not operate the product below or next to curtains.

•Do not cover the grids and do not place the product’s cord

under carpets or other objects during operating. Keep a

minimum safety distance of 20 cm from the appliance to

any object or wall on each side, back and front.

•Do not operate the device unattended.

•Always turn off and unplug the appliance when not in use

and before moving it to a new location. Pull from the plug,

not the cord, to disconnect it from the outlet.

•This appliance is intended for domestic use only. It is not

suitable for commercial or industrial use. Do not use it

outdoors.

•Cleaning and maintenance tasks should be carried out

according to this manual to ensure correct operation of the

device.

•This appliance is not intended to be used by children

and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental

capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, unless

they have been given supervision or instruction concerning

the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the

hazards involved.

•Supervise young children to make sure that they do not play

with the appliance. Close supervision is necessary when

the appliance is being used by or near children.

3. PRODUCT ASSEMBLY

The fan is packed disassembled and must be properly assembled following the instructions in

this manual in order to ensure its correct operation.

WARNING:

•Do not operate the product unless it is completely assembled and always operate it in an

upright position to avoid injuries and accidents.

•Take the product out of the box and make sure all its components are in good conditions.

If there is any part missing or damaged, contact the Technical Support Service of Cecotec

immediately.

1. Use the screws and the Fixing plate to assemble the fan support to the base. Pull the height-

adjustment bar out from the fan’s support to the desired height and then use the height fixing

wing screw to lock it.

2. Place the fan body on top of the support element.The fan support must be introduced inside

the fan body in such way that the whole device is stable. Use the fastening wing screw to fix

tightly both parts.

3. Install the back grid on the motor shaft and use the back grid fixing nut to fix it tightly.

4. Place the large blades in their position making sure the grooves in its centre match the ones

on the back grid fixing nut. Then, place the smaller ones next and screw them anticlockwise to

fix them securely.

5. Lastly, install the front grid in its position and use the grid ring to hold both grids together.

Fasten the ring so that it is properly attached.

4. OPERATION

Note: Make sure all the parts are properly assembled and in good conditions before operating

the device.

Functions and modes

All the following functions and modes can be operated from the control panel and from the

remote control.

• Press the power button to turn the device on or off.

•Press the speed button to select the fan’s air speed, from 1 to 6. The speed light indicator

will light up while this function is operating.

•Press the mode button to select between 3 operating modes: Normal, Eco and Sleep. The

mode light indicator will light up according to the selected mode.

•Press the oscillation button to activate this function. The oscillation light indicator will

light up while it is activated.

•Press the timer button to activate or deactivate this function. It can be programmed for 1,

2, 4 or 8 hours than can be added up, therefore it can be programmed for a totaltime of 15

hours. The display will light up the selected timer option.

5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

•Always turn the device off and unplug it from the power supply before carrying out

cleaning and maintenance tasks.

• Use a soft dampened cloth to clean the product’s surface.

7. DISPOSAL OF OLD ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES

The European directive 2012/19/EU on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment

(WEEE), specifies that old household electricalappliances must not be disposed ofwith

the normal unsorted municipal waste. Old appliances must be collected separately, in

order to optimize the recovery and recycling of the materials they contain, and reduce

the impact on human health and the environment.

The crossed out “wheeled bin” symbol on the product reminds you of your obligation to dispose

of the appliance correctly. If the product has a built-in battery or uses batteries, they should be

removed from the appliance and disposed of appropriately.

Consumers must contact their local authorities or retailer for information concerning the correct

disposal of old appliances and/or their batteries.

8. TECHNICAL SUPPORT SERVICE AND WARRANTY

This product is under warranty for 2 years from the date of purchase, as long as the proof of

purchase is submitted, the product is in perfect physical condition, and it has been given proper

use, as explained in this instruction manual.

The warranty will not cover the following situations:

•The product has been used forpurposes otherthanthose intended forit, misused, beaten,

exposed to moisture, immersed in liquid or corrosive substances, as well as any other

fault attributable to the customer.

•The product has been disassembled, modified, or repaired by persons, not authorised by

the official Technical Support Service of Cecotec.

• Faults deriving from the normal wear and tear of its parts, due to use.

•The warranty service covers every manufacturing defects of your appliance for 2 years,

based on current legislation, except consumable parts. In the event of misuse, the

warranty will not apply.
