Troubleshooting guide
The indicator lights
don't shine.
• Make sure that both units are turned on.
• Make sure that thebatteries are charged and
inserted correctly.
• If aunit is connected to thepower grid
via theAC/DC power adapter: Make sure
that theadapter is properly plugged into
thepower outlet and that thepower cord is
connected to theadapter and unit.
• Is thepower outlet energised?
• Check thebatteries and replace them if
necessary.
The indicator light
flashes green but no
sound can be heard.
Check thevolume and raise it using theincrease
volume button (+) on theparent unit.
The indicator light is
slowly flashing red.
The batteries are flat. Charge thebatteries,
refer to theCharging section.
The indicator light is
quickly flashing red.
The units are too far apart. Reduce thedistance
between them.
No sound can be
heard despite theunits
being connected and
switched on.
The volume is too low. Increase thevolume on
theparent unit. The microphone sensitivity is too
low, change it to “H” (High).
A loud whistling sound
is emitted by theunits.
The units are too close to each other. Increase
thedistance between theunits.
No contact between
units, intermittent
sound transfer,
theconnection breaks.
• Make sure that both units are turned on.
• The units are too far apart. Reduce
thedistance between them.
• Interference from other devices (amicrowave,
TV, PC, etc.). Turn off any interfering devices
or move thebaby monitor to another location.
• The battery power of theunits is low. Check
thebatteries and charge them if necessary.
