Use
Power supply
• The monitor stand/charger and the camera are each powered by their own mains
adaptor. Only use the supplied mains AC/DC adaptors.
• The monitor itself is powered by a rechargeable lithium ion battery, 3.7 V,
1200 mAh. Recharge the battery by placing the monitor into the desk stand.
The camera
Turn the camera on by setting the switch (15) to the ON position.
Voice activated camera
1. Activate the voice activation feature by setting the CAMERA AUTO switch (17)
to AUTO.
2. When the level of noise in the vicinity of the camera exceeds the preset level, the
camera will be activated. This will enable you to both see and hear your child.
3. When the noise level falls below the preset level, the camera ceases to transmit.
The monitor switches off.
4. The voice activation can be turned off by setting the CAMERA AUTO switch to
the CAMERA position. The audio and visual signals will then be sent to the monitor
all the time.
Night light
The baby unit also emits calming multicoloured light effects to comfort children when they
make noises (noise activated). Set the NIGHT LIGHT switch (14) to the AUTO position to
activate this feature. The night light can be switched off completely by setting the switch
to the OFF position or it can be left on all the time by sliding the switch to ON.
Night vision
The camera is equipped with 6 high intensity LEDs for viewing sharp images in dark
places. When the built-in photo sensor senses that the light is not sufficient, the LEDs
are automatically activated. Night vision images are in black and white only.
The monitor
1. Turn the monitor on by setting the switch (2) to the ON position.
2. Select the channel using the channel selector (7). The included camera has been
paired (at the factory) to the monitor on channel 1. Up to four cameras can be
paired to the monitor at the same time. Refer to the Pairing section, below, if you
wish to use more than on camera.
3. Set the desired volume level using the control (1).
4. Set the monitor light level using the light control switch (5).
5. If it is necessary to reset the monitor to the factory default settings, press the
RESET button (6).
