Youwill requirethe following tools tocomplete installationofthe bladder/s:

1. Tapemeasure;

2. Spirit level;

3. Shovelorspade forlevellingand creating trenchesforinlet and outlets;

4. Sawsforcutting and additional PVCpiping thatwill berequired;

5. Powerdrillwithratchet screw driverfortightening hose clampsetc.;and,

6. Wrenchestotightenthreadedfittings100mm&32mminsize.

MAINTENANCE:

Regularly check the site where the bladderisinstalledtoensure nothing is rubbing against it,and that thereis nothing sharparound the bladders.The

filters suppliedneedtobe maintained– see themanufacturesinstructionsforfurtherinformation. Wealsorecommend that youuse the storedwateras

muchas possible– this willhelpkeepthewatersupply freshand helptoincrease the lifeofthematerial,thusincreasing the lifespanofthebladder.Any

repairs etc.needtobe reportedtoFloatPacwithinsevendaysofanydamage being noticed. Small puncture holescanbe easily repairedonsite,although

any largerdamagewill needtobe assessedby FloatPacatourmanufacturing plant inSpringvale,Victoria.

SITEPREPARATONFORINSTALLATION:

We recommend that the choseninstallationareaisflat – clear the areaofbricks,tilesglass, and anything else thatmaybe presentbefore levelling out.

EachRainPacTM bladderhasitsownheight clearance requirementsbasedonthewidthofthe bladder.Details ofthe requiredclearancesareas follows:

Installationoftheoverflowsystemabovethese heightrestrictionswill meantheRainPacTM will overfill, and this will voidthewarranty.Ifyoudonot have

enough height asperthe guide above,theoverflow canbe droppedtothe height youhave availablewithout voiding thewarranty.

RainPacTM mustbe installedon flatground.

Some general rulestofollow whenselecting thesite:

1. Makesurethe corresponding bladderand clearance requirement listedabovesuitstheselectedarea;

2. The areashouldberelatively closetothe downpipe/sfromwhere the RainPacTM will fill.Additionally,asall fittingsaresituatedatoneend,this end

shouldbe the closest tothe downpipe/s(where possible); and,

3. The chosensite shouldbededicatedtothe RainPacTM withnothing else being storednear thebladders that coulddamagethem.

INSTALLATION:

Pointscovered:

•Levelling ofselectedsite;

•Unpacking the RainPacTM and rolling outonsite;

•Inlet bladderconnection;

•Outlet bladderconnection;and,

•Installing the downpipe diverter,overflowand connectiontothe RainPac FloatPac.

1. Levelthe selectedsite withaspirit leveland apieceoftimber, whichshouldideally bethe widthoftheareayouhaveselected. Check and recheck

the levelledareaforanything sharpordangerousthatcouldharmthe bladder(and itsinstaller!).

2. CarefullyremovetheRainPacTM fromitsboxand separate the fitting kit fromthe bladder.The end that youwill firstseeis the end where all the

fittingsare.This is theend that is closesttothe downpipe/s.The RainPacTM has beenrolledthecorrect way soyoucansimply remove it fromthe

boxand layout flat.

Please note: Asthe RainPacTM has beenrolledup thecorrectway,it isveryeasy toinstall.Makesurethatonce thebladderis laidout flat,the100mm

(4”)Hanseninlet is facing towardsthe ground. The2”(50mm)vent fitting inthecentreofthe RainPacTM isthe onlyfitting that shouldbe facing

towardsthesky.Also,donot beconcernedifwhenyouroll the bladderout itlooks toowideforthe area– asthe bladdermovesinat the sidesasit

fills, it willnotcauseany damagetothe bladderorsurrounding joiners/bearers and foundations.
