AQUAMIX-S DN 15 self-closing single mixer for fitting unit, including hygiene set

and bypass for hygiene flush. For connection to hot and cold water supply. With one

connection above the other. Self-closing mixing cartridge with adjustable temper-

ature stop. Adjustable flow time.

Note the installation position of the filters.

10.1

Insert the filters (a).

☞Important!

Take care that the hole of the tension bolt (b) is vertically aligned.

10.2

Insert the fitting (c) and secure with the grub screw (d).

Minimum flow pressure: 1.0 bar

Recommended flow

11. Function

Water flow

11.1

Press the pressure cap.

• The water will flow.

• The water flow stops automatically once the preset flow time has expired.

☞The flow time is adjustable from 5-20 seconds.

Temperature selection

12. Adjusting the flow time

12.1

Undo the grub screw (a), using a hexagonal wrench.

12.2

Remove the pressure cap (c) and the spring (b).

12.3

Use a screwdriver to set the flow time.

+ longer flow time (max. 20 s)

– shorter flow time (min. 5 s)

Trigger the fitting to measure the flow time.

☞Important!

When putting the pressure cap in place, ensure that the tappet engages with the

corresponding groove.

Once the desired flow time has been set, put the pressure cap in place.

12.6

Reassemble in reverse order.

13. Adjust the temperature limits

Warning!

If the hot water supply temperature is above 45°C, the temperature limits should be set.

Failure to observe this instruction can result in injuries due to scalding.

☞The temperature limits are not an active scald protection.

13.1

Close the water supply.

13.2

Disconnect the fitting.

13.3

Turn the pressure cap (b) anti-clockwise up to the cold-water limit stop.

13.4

Undo the grub screw (a), using a hexagonal wrench.

13.5

Remove the pressure cap (b).

13.6

Remove the spring (e).

13.7

Loosen the housing nut (d), using a face spanner.

13.8

Remove the complete ball bearing (c).

Remove the temperature stop ring (f).

13.10

Turn the tappets (g) of the temperature stop ring (f) to the horizontal position and

insert them.

☞Important!

Take note of the installation of the complete ball bearing.

13.11

Insert the complete ball bearing (c).

13.12

Tighten the housing nut (d), using a face spanner.

13.13

Insert the spring (e).

☞Important!

When putting the pressure cap in place, ensure that the tappet engages with the

corresponding groove of the temperature stop ring.

Position the pressure cap (b).

13.15

Open the water supply.

13.16

Set the desired temperature.

Turning in a clockwise direction increases the temperature of the mixed water.

Turning anti-clockwise reduces the temperature of the mixed water.

13.17

Close the water supply.

13.18

Remove the pressure cap (b) in the position in which it has been adjusted.

13.19

Remove the spring, the housing nut and the complete ball bearing (see step 13.6 to

13.8).

13.20

Remove the temperature stop ring (f).

13.21

Engage the side of the tappet (i) with the left side of the limit stop (h).

☞Important!

Take note of the installation of the complete ball bearing.

Insert the complete ball bearing (c).

13.23

Tighten the housing nut (d), using a face spanner.

Insert the spring (e).

☞Important!

When putting the pressure cap in place, ensure that the tappet engages with the

corresponding groove.

Position the pressure cap.

Secure the pressure cap (b) on the fitting, using the grub screw (a).

14. Maintenance and care

The fitting must be checked and maintained at regular intervals depending on the

water quality and in accordance with the local conditions, and rules and regulations

applicable at the site.

Maintain the following components:

• Aerator (see chapter 17.)

• Filters (see chapter 15.)

• Non-return valve (see chapter 16.)

Use suitable cleaning agents which are not harmful to the fitting in a proper manner

and rinse with water after use. High-pressure cleaners must not be used for

cleaning.

Remove the fitting

For some maintenance tasks, the fitting must be removed.

Close the water supply.

14.2

Disconnect the fitting.

14.3

Remove the grub screw (c) from the fitting.

14.4

Remove the fitting (a), using the guide sockets (b).

15. Replacing the filters

15.1

Remove the fitting (see chapter 14.).

15.2

Remove the filters (a).

15.3

Clean the holes in the sides of the solenoid valve cartridge with a thin needle.

☞Important!

Note the installation position of the filters.

15.4

Insert the new filters (a).

15.5

When necessary, replace the O-rings of the guide socket (b).

15.6

Reassemble in reverse order.

16. Replace the non-return valve

Warning!

All non-return valves must be replaced at once.

Failure to observe this instruction can result in an increased germ load in the

drinking water and thus pose a health or mortality risk.

☞The non-return valve forms part of the guide socket (a).

16.1

Remove the fitting (see chapter 14.).

16.2

Replace the guide socket (a).

16.3

When necessary, replace the O-rings of the guide socket (b).

16.4

Reassemble in reverse order.

17. Replace the aerator

17.1

Remove the aerator, using an open-ended wrench.

17.2

Replace the aerator.

18. Replace the functional element

18.1

Disassemble the pressure cap up to the temperature stop ring (see step 13.1 to 13.9).

☞Important!

When removing the functional element, ensure that the cartridge (a) remains in the

fitting.

Replace the functional element (b).

18.3

Set the temperature limits (see chapter 13.).

If you cannot rectify a fault or if it is not in the list, please contact our customer

service department.
