Q. How does the monitor platorm tilt?

A. Depending on the monitor platform you selected, platform tilt may not

be available.

Q. Why can’t I push my arm down into the horizontal position?

A. The monitor must be on the platform for the arm to move.

Q. The friction joints do not loosen/tighten.

A. Be certain that you are turning left (counter-clockwise) to loosen and

right (clockwise) to tighten. (Opposite of counter-balance adjustment)

Q. Why does the arm drift upward/downward after the counter-balance

has been set?

A. This will happen if the mount is not perfectly level. A good rule of

thumb is to keep the mount joint loose while the platform forearm

joint is snug.

Q. How do I return my monitor arm?

A. You can obtain a return authorization number (RMA) by contacting our

customer service department at 800.524.2744. All returned items must

be accompanied by an RMA.

Step 1 Attaching the Arm to the Mount

Before beginning, please be

certain that the mount is secure

on the surface.

Insert the shaft of the arm

assembly into the mount.

Step 2 Attach Monitor Platform to the Arm

Remove platform from wrap. Unscrew the four 1/4” x 20 Philips ﬂat head

screws from the tilt or non tilt base found at the end of the forearm.

Place the platform on top of the non tilt base, line up the screw hole pattern

and replace the screws and tighten.

Step 3 Adjustments

With the CRT monitor on the platform,

push the arm into a horizontal position,

insert the 1/4” allen wrench.

To increase the strength, turn the

wrench left (counter-clockwise). To

decrease the strength, turn the wrench

to the right (clockwise).

When the arm does not drift up or

downward, your adjustment is set.

A - Counter-Balance - assistance may be needed

Friction joints are found in the (1) mount, where the (2) forearm elbows

with the main body of the arm and (3) where the platform attaches to the

end of the forearm.

Insert the 3/32” allen wrench into the set screw and tighten or loosen to the

desired degree of friction. (Left to loosen - Right to tighten)
