many needs of the end use . Howeve , final selection of a handcycle to be used by an
individual ests solely with the use and his/he health ca e p ofessional capable of
making such a selection.
HANDCYCLE TIE-DOWN RESTRAINTS AND SEAT POSITIONING STRAPS
Invaca e ecommends that handcycle use s NOT be t anspo ted in vehicles of any
kind while in a handcycle. As of this date, the Depa tment of T anspo tation has not
app oved any tie-down systems fo t anspo tation of a use while in a handcycle, in
a moving vehicle of any type.

positioning st ap is equi ed to ensu e the save ope ation of this equipment by the
use . SERIOUS INJURY CAN OCCUR IN THE EVENT OF A FALL FROM THE
PRODUCT.

an option on this handcycle (you may o de with o without the seat positioning
st ap), Invaca e st ongly ecommends o de ing the seat positioning st ap as an
additional safegua d fo the handcycle use . The seat positioning st ap is a position-
ing belt only. It is not designed fo use as a safety device withstanding high st ess
loads such as auto o ai c aft safety belts. If signs of wea appea , belt MUST be
eplaced IMMEDIATELY.
